MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Video transcript 1:18

Melania and I would like to wish everyone a happy, joyous, and wonderful Christmas season. In this holy time of year, Christians everywhere give thanks that over 2,000 years ago, God sent His only Son into the world to be the Savior of all mankind. The birth of Jesus Christ is the true miracle we celebrate each Christmas. He is the ultimate source of our joy, our hope, and our sense of peace and goodwill as we gather with family and loved ones. It is such a great time of the year. This is why we can never stop saying that beautiful phrase, "Merry Christmas." This holiday we give thanks for many blessings God has bestowed upon us. We pray for the safety of our men and women in uniform, at home, and abroad. And we ask God to guide us, give us strength, and watch over us in this pivotal year ahead. With His help, by this time next year, we will be well on our way to making America safer, stronger, greater, and more prosperous than ever before. Once again, Melania and I wish you a very Merry Christmas. God bless you all. May 2024 be the best year of our lives.

Psychological Analysis — "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" (2023-12-24)

Authorship Attribution

Post timestamp: 18:56 UTC → ~1:56 PM EST at Mar-a-Lago (Trump's near-certain location for Christmas Eve 2023). This falls within business hours, which is an aide-indicator. The attached video implies pre-production coordination. However, ALL CAPS is a persistent authentic Trump stylistic signature. The most parsimonious reading is staff-facilitated scheduling and video production, with Trump's direct or lightly supervised authorship of the two-word text. Confidence: low — insufficient analyzable content for reliable stylometric inference.

Level 1: Dispositional Traits

The post is too minimal for reliable trait inference. ALL CAPS enthusiasm is consistent with the extraversion baseline; no other facets are meaningfully activated.

Level 2: Characteristic Adaptations

Pure maintenance behavior. No agency motives, grievance schemas, or communion-seeking beyond the ritualized form of holiday address are detectable.

Level 3: Narrative Identity

No narrative identity signals. No protagonist framing, no contrasting other, no redemption or contamination sequence. The post is an island of affective neutrality in a river of grievance content.

Contextual Contrast (Longitudinal Note)

The post is bracketed temporally by highly charged content: an earlier same-day post invoking presidential immunity, "Witch Hunt" rhetoric, and election fraud claims ("I DID NOTHING WRONG. Stop the Witch Hunt NOW!"), and prior-day posts framing 2024 as the "final chance to SAVE AMERICA." The sudden pivot to a produced, cheerful holiday greeting — and the implicit return to grievance thereafter — is consistent with the compartmentalization and emotional lability documented longitudinally across Trump's posting record. This rapid register-switching warrants longitudinal notation but does not elevate the clinical significance of this individual post.

Clinical Indicators

None detectable from this post in isolation.

Danger Assessment

None. No threat language, no targeting, no eliminationist content.
