A gubernatorial endorsement in a Long Island batch, posted the day before the election

This is one of at least six endorsements posted on November 2, 2026, the eve of the midterm vote. They cover the Long Island congressional seats (NY-1 through NY-4), the attorney general race, and here the governor's race. All of them run on the same frame: "It is my Great Honor to endorse...", a list of credentials, a policy litany ("Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Strengthen our Military/Veterans... Protect our always under siege Second Amendment"), a negative portrait of the opponent, and the signature. The Garbarino post earlier the same morning has the policy sequence almost word for word, down to "always under siege Second Amendment." The post links to swampthevoteusa.com, the party's early-vote and turnout site, so the link is a get-out-the-vote device and makes no claim of its own.

Who drafted it

At 15:58 UTC on November 2 it was 10:58 a.m. Eastern. Daylight saving time ended November 1, and he was based at Mar-a-Lago for the closing tele-rallies. That is mid-morning business hours, and a batch of near-identical posts in one session points to a staff-prepared slate. The prose is clean and complete, with no drift, no self-interruption and no grievance tangent. Two features match Trump's own vocabulary: "Dumocrat" and "Transgender Mutilization." Both have appeared in earlier endorsement templates, though, so they show house style and do not prove he typed this one. The most likely process is that staff drafted it from the standard template and he approved it, perhaps adding some of the attack lines himself.

Loyalty as the first qualification

The post's main claim about Blakeman is about his loyalty, not his governing record: "Bruce is MAGA all the way, and has been with me from the very beginning." Being with Trump comes before anything Blakeman has done as county executive. This fits how the endorsements regularly work. A candidate's worth is measured by closeness to the endorser, and the endorsement is a reward for that loyalty. The closing guarantee, "HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!", is personal, the kind of promise made about an ally rather than about a set of policies.

When the post does describe Blakeman's record, it is about immigration enforcement: "working tirelessly with the Brave Heroes of ICE, Border Patrol, and Law Enforcement." That part is real. Nassau County signed a 287(g) cooperation agreement in 2025, and Blakeman made it a public signature issue. Choosing this credential above everything else matches the administration's own top priority.

Splitting the race into hero and threat

The structure is splitting. Blakeman gets only admiring descriptions ("Highly Respected and very popular," "America First Patriot"). Hochul gets a list of threats ("massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women's Sports, and Transgender Mutilization of your Children") and then the alliterative "Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!" The devaluation is generic. The same list was used against Suozzi in NY-3 earlier that morning ("Open Borders, Men playing in Women's Sports, Transgender for Everyone"), so Hochul is being slotted into a stock opponent role, not described as herself. "Your Children" makes the threat about the reader's own household, which is a fear appeal. It speaks to parents and does not engage any actual policy.

The anger is routine. The insults are stock, they sit inside a commercial form, and nothing in the post reacts to a recent slight from Hochul. The trigger is an ordinary campaign need, mobilizing voters the day before an election, and not an injury to him. His posture is grandiose in the mild sense that the endorsement is offered as an honor he gives out. There is no sign of the wounded, persecuted mode that shows up elsewhere in this period, for example around the court rulings on election administration.

Hochul's record against the post's claims

The attacks on Hochul are mostly false or heavily distorted. She has not pushed broad tax increases. In 2025 and 2026 she resisted the income-tax increases on high earners that New York City's mayor and the legislature's left wing were pressing for, and she ran on middle-class tax cuts. "Open Borders" does not describe a state governor's powers or her stated positions. She has called for federal border enforcement and criticized the cost of the migrant influx to New York City. The sports and youth-medicine lines refer to real policy: New York's anti-discrimination law covers transgender athletes, and Hochul signed a 2024 shield law protecting gender-affirming care. "Mutilization of your Children" recasts lawful, mostly non-surgical care for minors as violence done to the reader's own children.

Language

"Mutilization" is not a standard word. It is a mutilation/-ization blend. It recurs across his endorsement texts, so it reads as a settled house word, not a new speech error. "Dumocrat" is an intentional pun. Neither is evidence of cognitive change. Because the text is templated, it tells us little about his own spontaneous language production.

Risk

The post names a political opponent and attacks her, but it does not call for anything except voting: "GET OUT AND VOTE FOR BRUCE." The language degrading transgender medical care feeds a long-running hostile frame against a minority group. It does not name individuals or suggest any action beyond the ballot box.
