Oh boy, it's a climate week clash as world leaders gather in New York to celebrate their sustainability accomplishments. Climate activists crash an AI event accusing tech companies of fueling climate change watch. All right, joining me now is Mark Morano from climate depot dot com. We love that site executive editor there. And he was featured as a speaker during climate week. Okay. So let me get this straight. Yeah. You were the speaker at the climate conference. Yes. My organization, Steve act, we actually signed me up to be a speaker and the group allowed it. Then about three weeks later they realized, wait a minute, this guy doesn't fit in here and they didn't cancel me. They actually said we're committed to free speech. So I was able to speak at a panel and I mentioned explicitly that they have to stop. It was about instilling climate action into the youth. I said, you need to stop scaring kids. I use their words. We need diversity, tolerance. We need dissent. We need to allow professors to dissent on this. I talked to him about offshore wind whales. I talked to him about how EVs aren't green. We went to, I went to the entire thing and amazingly the audience agreed. It's hard to think back, you know, so many years ago when literally any professor who opposed the idea of climate change was, you know, basically thrown out of the profession. I mean, it was, we really, there really was a tyranny around this ideology. So explain to me this clash now, because you have Bill Gates in a fight with Al Gore. Bill Gates, who was a big climate guy and now he's not because of AI. Yeah. Well, these students are seeing protests. They know instinctively that AI is killing the climate hoax. Bill Gates came out right before the last UN climate summit and said, climate is not a catastrophe. We need human flourishing. This made heads explode. Al Gore shows up at a UN climate summit attacking Bill Gates as being wrong, as being bullied by Donald Trump. And these activists know that Larry Fink, ground zero for the whole financial scam of climate change from BlackRock, has publicly announced that AI cannot be powered by solar and wind. You need dispatchable power like fossil fuels, coal, oil, gas, nuclear. And so. That's so interesting because Larry Fink was pushing all the climate stuff. All of it. But now that it interferes with AI now. Okay. So that's very revealing. So the students are correct that their agenda's being ripped out by their fellow activists. You know, they're right. So AI just means that it's doomed for them. Yeah. In a lot of ways. Okay. So let's talk about affordability because it's interesting. They're at the climate conference. They see this vulnerability of affordability. They think it will hurt the right. So they're, they're like fighting for affordability. But how do you get affordability if you're not for fossil fuels? Because you need cheap fossil fuels if you want prices to come down. Well, they get it very simply through a fantasy engineering. They say solar and wind are coming on. All we have to do is basically ban fossil fuels and solar and wind will just take over because of this magical like how Al Gore always says like, yeah, there'll be an explosion of technology. Same thing they did with cars. They wanted to ban the gas powered car and they thought EVs would just overtake. EVs never got higher than 7%. And even the Toyota CEO said, I think we're about at max, you know, max. So what we're seeing is the implosion of the whole, as you said, climate hoax. How much of this has to do with president Trump? I don't think he gets enough credit for having destroyed this movement. We have to say this in the last 50 years, this was FDR Ronald Reagan style action. Just look at what Donald Trump did on the climate event over 300 actions as president to unleash American energy. And here's the key thing that Donald Trump did. Permanence. He's pulling us out of the 1992 Rio earth summit treaty that George H. W. Bush got us into. That's unprecedented. We're officially out in February, makes it much harder for a future president AOC and or Gavin Newsom to get us back in. And he's also ending this endangerment finding, which is, which is essentially regulating carbon dioxide. We inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide as humans. That exhale is regulated as a pollutant under the clean air act. And even though the clean air act never mentioned it, so he's trying to get unelected bureaucrats to no longer have the power to regulate all aspects of our economy from meat eating to gas stoves, etc. So, so he's doing a level of permanence that even Trump 1.0 didn't go after. Oh, yeah. I don't think he gets enough credit for what he's done in that space. I'm really glad you're bringing that up. And I think it's an important topic for people to consider as we move into this midterm election. He is absolutely transformational and it was a tyranny. It's, it's hard to think back on how things were. Mark, you've always been on the forefront of this and we thank you for, for, for doing the, the good work of going into the climate conference and facing those people. Thank you so much for joining. Thank you, Rachel. You got it.
