The documented Democratic critique runs in the opposite direction from the claim. Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV) attacked the tips provision precisely because it 'sunsets in three years' and is 'actually a deduction, not no tax on tips,' unlike permanent corporate tax breaks. That is a complaint about insufficient permanence, which is the inverse of a repeal agenda.
