Greg Abbott is the strong and highly respected Governor of Texas, a State I love and WON BIG three times, including with 6.4 Million Votes in 2024 (The most Votes in History, BY FAR)!

Thanks to Greg’s bold and effective Leadership, the wonderful people of Texas will have the opportunity to elect 5 new MAGA Republicans in the 2026 Midterm Elections with the passage of their new, fair, and much improved, Congressional Map — A BIG WIN for Republicans in The Lone Star State, and across the Country! As Governor, Greg is also fighting tirelessly to Champion Texas Values, Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Support our Amazing Farmers and Ranchers, Advance MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy Dominance, Promote School Choice, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Murderers, and other Criminals from illegally entering our Country, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Protect our Brave Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.

Greg Abbott has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. He is an exceptional Governor and man — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!

Fact Checks (4)

"Trump won Texas with 6.4 million votes in 2024, the most votes in Texas history"

Mostly True

Trump received approximately 6.39 million votes in Texas in the 2024 general election, which is the highest raw vote total any presidential candidate has received in Texas. The 'BY FAR' qualifier is hyperbolic — his margin over the prior record is meaningful but not enormous in proportional terms, and raw vote records routinely break as electorates grow.

"Trump won Texas three times"

True

Trump carried Texas in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

"Texas's new congressional map is 'fair'"

Mostly False

The Texas mid-decade redistricting that adds five Republican-leaning seats was explicitly designed to maximize Republican gains and is the subject of ongoing litigation alleging racial and partisan gerrymandering. Characterizing it as 'fair' is contested partisan framing rather than a neutral assessment.

"The border is 'now very Secure'"

Half True

Southwest border encounters dropped substantially after January 2025 enforcement changes, and that decline has largely persisted. Whether this constitutes the border being 'very Secure' depends on definition; the characterization is partisan-coded and elides ongoing flows and policy disputes.

Analysis: Greg Abbott Endorsement (Truth Social, 2026-05-04)

Authorship

Posted at 1:39 PM ET — squarely within the aide-window. The post is structurally polished, free of organic errors, and follows the same templated endorsement format used earlier the same day for Dan Patrick. The 6.4M vote figure is aide-supplied precision; Trump's organic posts trend toward round numbers and vague attribution. Trump-voice flourishes (ALL CAPS bursts, "Complete and Total Endorsement," "NEVER LET YOU DOWN!") appear stylistically applied rather than organically emergent. Assessment: aide-drafted with Trump approval, score ~0.3.

Psychological Notes

The most revealing moment is the self-referential aside in the first paragraph — the endorsement of Abbott is interrupted to assert Trump's own "6.4 Million Votes... The most Votes in History, BY FAR." Even in nominal praise of an ally, Trump's electoral self-mythology takes precedence; Abbott's leadership is then framed as conferring "opportunity to elect 5 new MAGA Republicans" via mid-decade redistricting — a procedural advantage reframed as popular empowerment.

Defense profile is mild and characteristic: idealization of a loyal ally (consistent with splitting), rationalization of partisan map-drawing as "fair." No injury response, no rage, no paranoid features.

Rhetoric

Glittering generalities ("Texas Values," "LAW AND ORDER"), threat construction ("always under siege Second Amendment"), and immigration-criminality coupling ("Migrant Crime, Murderers, and other Criminals"). Standard MAGA list-rhetoric.

Danger

None. Coalition maintenance, not mobilization.
