"This has been by far the most successful first year of any administration in the history of our country, acknowledged by everybody. To begin with, I ended eight wars, and it may be a little early to say this, but if we add Iran and Lebanon, that will be ten wars ended and many, many millions of lives saved. Every lives we've saved. Starting on day one, we ended the illegal invasion of America. That's an invasion by criminals, many, many criminals, murderers, drug dealers, prisoners. They emptied out their prisons into our country. And we took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent and open border and created the most secure border in U.S. history, one of the most secure borders anywhere in the world, with zero illegal aliens coming into our country in the past 11 months, zero. And in 2025, we achieved the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded. That's despite all of these people that came into our country. Many of them are now gone, I'm pleased to tell you. The murder rate, isn't it a terrible thing to be talking about murder, but you got to say it. At least if it's good news. I guess it's good news. But the murder rate reached the lowest level in over 125 years, 1900, the year 1900. Before my father was born, my father was great, before he was born, the flow of deadly fentanyl pouring across our border is down by astounding 59 percent. And as you probably noticed, if you watch the news, illegal drugs coming in by ocean or sea are down by 97 percent. And we're trying to find out who the three percent is because I consider them to be perhaps the bravest people anywhere in the world. Or they don't watch television or something. We passed the largest tax cuts in American history, the largest spending cuts in American history, the largest regulation cuts in American history, and the largest investment in border security in the history of our country. And starting my first day in office, we banned the transgender mutilization of our children. And we made it the official policy of the United States of America that there are only two genders, male and female. That was easy. Could you imagine if I was up here 20 years ago or 15 years ago, probably 12 years ago, and I said there are only two genders, male and female, people would say, what the hell is he saying that for? Is he crazy? That's got to be the worst speech I've ever heard. Why is he saying that? Or why is he saying that we got men out of women's sports? Can you imagine saying that 15 years ago, 15 years ago, you said, and we got men out of women's sports. The audience would say, what's wrong with that guy? It's the craziest thing I've ever heard. And we got critical race theory out of our schools. And we abolished DEI across the entire federal government. And we eliminated so-called affirmative action in federal contracting and university admissions. If you get great marks and have great scores and your boards are good, everything is good, you're getting in. People can't go before. We have a country now that again is based on merit. That's the way we became great.

This media-only post amplifies a video in which the speaker (plausibly Trump himself, given first-person self-reference) delivers an uninterrupted grandiose achievement inventory: ending wars, border security, crime statistics, tax/regulation cuts, and reversal of DEI/transgender policies, framed as universally acknowledged success (\"acknowledged by everybody\"). No negative or mixed outcome is acknowledged anywhere in the clip. Rhetorically, the content leans on hyperbole, false-consensus framing, and a retrospective-vindication narrative casting past critics as having been simply wrong. Several factual claims embedded in the clip — \"largest tax/spending/regulation cuts in history,\" \"zero illegal aliens in 11 months,\" and \"lowest murder rate since 1900\" — are false, unverifiable, or contradicted by independent historical data. Psychologically, this reads as a grandiose-state, supply-seeking post, notable for its timing amid a week (per provided context) marked by externally-triggered friction: a feud with the Pope, attacks on NATO allies, and internal staff concern that the subject's own social media posts were undermining Iran diplomacy. The clip's selection plausibly functions to redirect self-image and audience attention toward an uncontested triumph narrative following that friction, illustrating an oscillation between grandiose and reactive/aggrieved self-presentation across the week rather than a stable single state. No danger indicators, dehumanizing language, or violent imagery are present. Authorship attribution rests solely on posting time (approximately 1:10 AM Eastern), within Trump's documented late-night personal-posting window, but confidence is capped at low given the complete absence of written text or stylometric evidence, and the analysis concerns clip selection rather than the spoken content's authorship.

Authorship Analysis

Indicators:
  • Posted ~1:10 AM Eastern time, within documented late-night authentic-posting window
  • No written caption/text exists, so no stylometric evidence (typos, grammar, syntax) can support or undercut attribution
  • Clip content is a polished achievement-reel, a format sometimes curated by staff for morale/messaging purposes
  • Attribution here concerns only who selected and posted the clip, not who authored the spoken remarks in it

Fact Checks (5)
"This has been by far the most successful first year of any administration in the history of our country, acknowledged by everybody."
False

This is an unfalsifiable superlative claim with a false-consensus qualifier ("acknowledged by everybody"); it is not a claim recognized by mainstream historians, economists, or a broad political consensus, and is contradicted by substantial contemporaneous criticism of the administration during this period (e.g., NATO allies, Vatican, and the president's own officials per historian-provided events).

"We passed the largest tax cuts in American history, the largest spending cuts in American history, and the largest regulation cuts in American history."
False

Trump has repeated variations of this claim since 2017; independent analyses (e.g., Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, Tax Foundation) have consistently found that as a share of GDP, prior tax legislation (notably the 1981 Reagan tax cut) was larger than the 2017 or subsequent Trump-era tax cuts. No credible independent accounting supports these being simultaneously the largest cuts in each of three separate categories.

"We ended eight wars, and if we add Iran and Lebanon that will be ten wars ended."
Mostly False

Trump has repeatedly claimed to have ended a growing tally of wars throughout his term; independent reporting has found most of these to be temporary ceasefires, de-escalations, or ongoing negotiated pauses rather than formal, durable war terminations, and several of the referenced conflicts (including Iran) remained active or unresolved at the time of this post per contemporaneous reporting.

"Zero illegal aliens coming into our country in the past 11 months, zero."
False

Border crossing figures, while reported as substantially reduced under expanded enforcement measures during this period, have not been independently documented as literally zero over an 11-month span; official CBP encounter data during comparable periods have shown reductions to historic lows but not a literal absence of unauthorized crossings.

"The murder rate reached the lowest level in over 125 years, the year 1900."
Unverifiable

National-level, standardized murder-rate record-keeping comparable to modern FBI/CDC methodology does not extend back to 1900 in a directly comparable form, making a precise 125-year comparison not independently verifiable from available historical crime statistics; while violent crime has shown a documented multi-year downward trend, the specific superlative framing relative to 1900 cannot be confirmed.

No contradictions with other posts detected yet.
