Today I'm calling on Congress to pass legislation to address fraud in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security programs. First Congress must oppose mandatory minimum sentences on fraudsters who steal from critical benefit programs designed to take care of the sick, feed the hungry, care for our children, and protect our senior citizens' retirements. After our proposal, probation is no longer an option for the fraudsters. If you steal from the American people, you will go to prison and for a long period of time. And the more you steal, the longer you'll stay in that prison. Not only that, but if you're a convicted fraudster who gets caught stealing from the American people a second time, your sentence will be doubled. Second, Congress must make sure that crooked and corrupt politicians who willfully turn a blind eye to fraud finally face real consequences. Under our proposal, if a state or local politician knows about fraud and has the ability to stop it, but there's nothing about it, they can be personally liable for the full loss of the American taxpayers' money that they should have stopped and they should have saved. This legislative proposal will make fraudsters think long and hard before they keep stealing from the American people and will make crooked and corrupt politicians think also long and hard before they ignore fraud that they can stop and that they should stop. So from now on, fraudsters, we're watching you.

Donald was the young man who was going to conquer Manhattan. He takes chances that would make a less daring man shudder. To think about the arc of where he's been in, it's like some sort of mythical story or something. This sounds like political presidential talk to me. Donald Fump seems to always get stronger with challenge. My god, that guy's got resilience. Those who deal with you underestimate you and wouldn't regret it. It's always good to be underestimated. It is not about politics. It's about our love for this great country, America. And we're not going to let it fail. I will fight like no one has ever fought before. Trump is the bodyguard of Western civilization. You want to talk about a fighter who walked in fire? He's an absolute savage. He knows that this is much bigger than hip. This is about the American people. They have no idea what they have unleashed. He was ready to go face the cameras and come out swinging. What will future Americans say we did in our brief time here on Earth? It will be defined by your vision, your perseverance, and your grit. Nothing will sway us. Nothing will slow us. And no one will ever stop us. We are Americans. Ambition is our heritage. Greatness is our birthright. And the future belongs to us. (exhales)

I think, generally speaking, history is going to be very kind to Trump. Crime, immigration, Middle East, why didn't George W. Bush, why didn't George H.W., why didn't Clinton go right down the list? Not on my watch. Meanwhile, the threat became greater and greater and greater. The best I can say in answer to your question, Andrew, is, I think history is going to be kind to him.

Here is, at this point in the presidency, for both Joe Biden and President Trump, their second year in office, the first half of that year, January to July, inflation. Overall inflation was 12% for Joe Biden, 4% for President Trump. Groceries were up 16% for President Biden, a little over 3% for President Trump. Gas was up almost 70% for Biden. That's up about 12% during that timeframe for Trump. New and used cars were up almost 24% for Joe Biden, down under President Trump. But prices aren't the only numbers that matter. It's no secret Americans are feeling about how they're feeling about the high cost of living. But there's also what you make, what you earn. And that has been moving up. Real median household income hit more than $80,000 last year. That's the highest level on record, according to the Census Bureau. On the flip side, that's median household income. There's poverty. Poverty was down another half point last year to just over 10%. That, as you can see, is a historic low. So this reality and how we feel have to be reconciled. But that's hard to do when you see how these two different stories are covered. See if you can spot the difference. Here's The Washington Post in 2022 under Joe Biden. The stunning drop in child poverty is a huge story. This month, as we hit poverty rates that are the lowest in history, here's the headline in The Washington Post. Both poverty rate dropped slightly, but experts fear worse ahead. Let's reconcile how we feel in reality with Heritage Foundation economist EJ Antoni, who joins me now. EJ, it's good to see you. Listen, I know how people feel. We both talk to people, and we see it showing up in polling. But how do we compare and reconcile that with these numbers, which are historically great? They are, Will, but one of the things I think is important, going back to that first chart you showed, where it was the inflation rate difference between Trump and Biden. At the end of the day, consumers don't as much care about the inflation rate, which is the pace at which prices are increasing. What they really care about are the levels of prices. And so any additional price increases that we see under this administration, it's kind of like the straw breaking the camel's back because they are on top of all of the price increases that we had from the previous administration during Biden. And so even though, again, even though things have gotten better under President Trump, in other words, not only are paychecks bigger, but they can buy you more, which is why, as you were saying, real median household income is up, for a lot of Americans, they still have not yet regained all the lost ground that they saw under Biden. So let me just put this into real numbers so that I, and perhaps the audience, understand exactly what you're saying. If your grocery bill went up 15% under Joe Biden, the fact that it's now only going up 3% doesn't inspire a lot of credit. They're still paying 18% more than what they expected to be paying from the inflation baked in during the four years under Biden. And this, even though wages are growing. Exactly. And I think the other thing that has really left a kind of a bad taste in people's mouths, as well, is the fact that during the first year, really the first 14 months of this second Trump administration, we were making tremendous progress. In fact, if you can believe this, the average American's weekly paycheck adjusted for inflation shrunk 4% under Biden from when he entered office to when he left. But during Trump's first year, it went up 2%. In other words, we clawed back half of the losses that we saw under Biden. And again, this is the Average American's weekly paycheck.

Don't give us -- I want to pay you a billion or 400 million or whatever it is." Or I could say, "Thank you very much." You know? There was an old golfer named Sam Snead. Did you ever hear him? He won 82 tournaments. He was a great golfer. And he had a motto -- "When they give you a putt, you say, 'Thank you very much.' You pick up your ball and you walk to the next hole." A lot of people are stupid. They say, "No, no. I insist on putting it." Then they putt it and they miss it. And their partner gets angry at him. You know what? Remember that -- Sam Snead. To put it in perspective Bloomberg surveyed 77 economists and said what do you think the jobs number is gonna be and this blew past every single one of them. All 77 got the number wrong and by a lot. This number is four standard deviations above the average of their forecast. This is one of the best numbers relative to expectation that I've ever seen.

Yeah, in the Senate he has done very well. This is a reality check for you. That is, Donald Trump is still the son on which the planets of the GOP revolve around. You could see it quite well here. Look at this. Trump endorsed these one Senate primaries. If the person that he endorsed is not an elected incumbent like Darlene Graham was, you know, since 2022, or 2022 is about 95% of the time, has that weakened it all this cycle? No, it is not. It has actually gotten stronger. Look at this. 100% of the time if Trump endorsed a non-elected incumbent like Darlene Graham, they in fact won the Republican primary for United States Senate, Trump's name is still the one that GOP voters buy when it comes to Senate endorsements. He went there. He spent money. He made a difference. And according to some measurements here, it may have turned it around for her. Yeah, I would say that this is probably the endorsement of Darlene Graham and getting her across the finish line. The Republican party is probably the strongest sign of Donald Trump's name being gold in Republican primaries to date. It is by far his most impressive performance because just take a look here. It is according to the cash to prediction market. Chance to win the South Carolina special GOP Senate primary. Before the Trump endorsement, it was just 14%. Just 14%. The reason why Darlene Graham won that primary, won that nomination is because of one name and one name only, Donald John Trump. This was his most impressive endorsement to date in terms of getting someone actually nominated because she basically stood no chance. Once that endorsement came in, her chances rocketed well north of 50% and last night she won that nomination. And it's largely because Republican primary voters are hugely supportive of the president. You know, sometimes we have these polls and you know, they're favorable polls or approval polls and they're in the moment. But I just love this one. Okay. The president Republicans most admire. It's Donald Trump. This is a historic comparison. A majority of Republicans say 53% say he's the Republican president they most admire. Video transcript 19:09

Hello America, Mark Levin, and this is Life, Liberty and Levin Saturday. Welcome to the program. You know, I'm going to do something a little differently this evening. I want to talk about the state of the nation because we hear a lot of negativity. The President of the United States and this administration does not get the credit it deserves. In fact, as I went through the news this evening, I looked at everything. They try to humiliate and embarrass the administration. They're trying to look for, you know, negative issues. They're trying to look for scandals, but they're not reporting the news. I want to talk about something that matters to you. How are we doing in this country? You know, for matters that affect you directly. We hear about affordability, but then they drop it. Well, I don't want to drop it. I want to talk about it. Under this president, under this president, a year and a half in office in his second term, salary increases and take-home pay are rising faster than consumer price inflation, which is way down. The annual inflation rate stabilized and cooled slightly to 3.4 percent in July of this year, down from 3.5 percent. Now think about that, 3.4, 3.5. You know, those are rates that we haven't had since the first Trump term. And before that, since like never. While price acceleration has flattened and month over month, consumer prices rose by a modest 0.1 percent. In other words, they didn't rise. Inflation rose to a 40-year peak of 9.1 percent in June 2022 under President Biden, averaging nearly 5 percent during his presidency. He also spent like a wild Marxist with that massive inflation reduction act, which had nothing to do with inflation except caused inflation. That was trillions of dollars of needless spending. During President Trump's second term, inflation cooled significantly to an average of roughly 2.6 to 2.7 percent. That's incredible if you really think about it. Let's take a look at something else that matters to you, home prices. Home prices have declined on an annual basis in more than half the country, reversing years of rapid increases and improving affordability for families and first-time buyers. Rent growth slowed by its lowest pace since President Trump's first term, with single-family rent growth hitting a record low. Income growth is now outpacing rent growth nationwide, returning the typical share of income spent on rent close to pre-pandemic levels. Have you ever heard this? Of course not. We've got Maggie Haberman on CNN. She's into rumors and all. They all are, but they don't report the news. This is news. Orders for business equipment posted their largest surge in more than six years, while shipments of machinery and equipment also shattering expectations, strong signals of expanding industrial capacity. Initial jobless claims plunged to their lowest level since 1969, highlighting the exceptional strength of the labor market, strong labor market, strong business investment. Inflation is almost non-existent. These are very, very important indicators of what's going on. What about gas prices, electricity prices, the availability of energy? The president has ramped up domestic fossil fuel and nuclear production. He has slashed so-called climate change rules. Here's some of his actions, expanding production. He reopened federal lands and offshore areas to oil and gas leasing and drilling, while accelerating permitting timelines for new pipelines and refineries. Remember the prior administration, that regime, they couldn't block and sabotage and prevent enough energy production, could they? They hated it. We love it. For example, restrictions on drilling in parts of Alaska's 23.5 million acre National Petroleum Reserve were revoked. And also, the EPA issued a waiver to end summer blend smog restrictions ahead of the schedule, allowing cheaper fuel blends to enter the market sooner and increasing daily supply. Jones Act waivers, what's that? Well, the administration issued temporary 60-day waivers to the Jones Acts to ease domestic shipping restrictions and streamline fuel distribution. You can see the effort is to help the consumer. It is a constant effort with regulations, with taxes, with businesses, to push an agenda, a pro-growth energy agenda. And it's crucial, because without energy, without energy of all kinds, in all places, our economy can expand and we can't create wealth and prosperity. Reconsideration of regulations throttling the oil and gas industry. Reconsideration of mandatory greenhouse gas reporting program that imposed significant costs on the American energy supply. Reconsideration of limitations, guidelines, and standards for the steam electric power generating industry to ensure low-cost electricity while protecting water resources. Man, oh man, I'll tell you, in these blue states, with these degrothers and no-grothers, they're doing the opposite. They're sabotaging you. Mr. and Mrs. America, if you live in these blue states and cities, they're driving up. They're driving up the cost of all levels of energy and they're reducing the availability. So if you wonder why you have really high costs in some of these dark blue states, you can thank your governor and you can thank your state legislatures. Reconsideration of waste water regulations for oil and gas development to help unleash American energy. What about taking steps to make home ownership more affordable under this president? Hire salt cap, what's that? The president and the Republicans raised the state and local tax cap, which includes property taxes, from $10,000 to $40,000. This is money directly in your pocket. And for tax years 2025 to 2029, for itemized filers. Permanent mortgage limit, locked in the $750,000 limit on deductible mortgage debt, $375,000 for single filers, stopping it from reverting to $1 million. In other words, they want to make sure that you can deduct as much as possible. Mortgage insurance, restructured and permanently reinstated private mortgage insurance, that's PMI premiums, as deductible, deductible mortgage interest starting in 2026. The president made it easier to buy American made new cars and trucks on July 4, 2025, creating a temporary federal tax deduction for up to $10,000 a year in auto loan interest on new American personal use cars and light trucks under 14,000 pounds with final assembly in the United States. Houses, salaries, income, cars, trucks, energy. The federal government is doing everything it can under this president. I've never seen anything like it, quite frankly. Any of you take prescription drugs? Well, most of you do. And you should be seeing lower prices. I know I am. I certainly am when I'm going to the pharmacy. And this is what he's done. The President Trump announced agreements with major pharmaceutical companies to lower prescription drug prices for Americans in line with the lowest prices paid by other developed nations, known as the most favorite nation's price. The nine manufacturers, I won't name them all, but they're big and most of the drugs you get are from them. The agreements reduce prices on drugs that treat numerous costly and chronic conditions, a whole list of them. Pulmonary heart disease, asthma, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, two types of diabetes, and it goes on and on. Now, the agreements will provide that every state Medicaid program in the country access the most favored nation drug prices on products made by those nine major drug companies, resulting in billions of dollars in savings to you, Mr. and Mrs. America. Now, has another president done that? No. Did the prior president do that? No. Did the Democrats do that? No. Trump did it. The agreements require the nine companies to offer medicines at a deeper discount off the list price when selling directly to American patients through TrumpRX. You ought to take advantage of TrumpRX. More. What about tax cuts for families? Federal tax cuts. Raised and locked in the higher standard deduction levels originally set in 2017 for the vast majority of individual followers. Lower income tax rates. Maintained lower marginal income tax brackets across the board, across the board, not just billionaires and millionaires as the as the chattering classes would have you believe for everybody. Child tax credit extended and boosted the double child tax credit benefiting tens of millions of American families. No tax on tips created a federal income tax deduction for qualified service and beauty industry tips. No tax on overtime implemented dedicated deductions for eligible overtime pay. Senior relief provided enhanced tax deductions and targeted relief for Social Security income retirees. What about businesses and corporations that create the private sector jobs? Corporate tax rate maintained the lowest 21% corporate income tax rate enacted by his first term policies. Immediate expensing extended provisions letting businesses immediately deduct the cost of factory construction and short term equipment investments. Now this is a lot of information because the President has done a lot and I want you to be aware of this. I do this monologue about 20 minutes and I'm going to get as much of this in as I can so you understand when people say he's not focused on affordability. He's all about affordability. That's what his whole domestic agenda is about. Affordability. Paid leave tax credit made permanent the employee tax credit for offering employee paid families medical leave savings and investment provisions. Trump accounts established tax deferred $1,000 government seed investments and saving pathways for children born between 2024 and 2028 to use for education or first. You realize if you take advantage of that that your children will have a significant amount of money saved up tax free for them as a result of these tax these Trump tax accounts. It's just incredible. Expanded 529 accounts broadened allowable uses of education savings accounts to include K through 12 materials and post-secondary trade credentials. It's pretty incredible and about what about the lifestyle you have? What about the ability to live in a free society without being mugged and raped and murdered? Well, that can't be perfect. Obviously there are evil people out there, but there are efforts that can be taken to reduce it and the President has grabbed every single one of them. Violet crime plunged 9.3% in 2025. These are FBI statistics. The largest annual decline on record. Murder dropped 18.1% tying the lowest rate in recorded history. This is for 2025. Robbery fell 18.5% resulting in nearly 38,500 fewer robberies. Rape declined 7.6% resulting in more than 10,000 fewer victims. Aggravated assault fell 7.2% resulting in over 62,700 fewer attacks. Property crime dropped 12.4%, the second largest decline in history, with nearly 750,000 fewer offenses. Meanwhile, preliminary data for the first half of this year shows the decline continuing and deepening with violent crime down an additional 10.6%, murder down another 23%, rape down 18.6%, and robberies down 19.6% compared to the same time period last year. Nearly 54,000 violent crime arrests, up 90%, including more than 31,000 violent crimes and gang members, up 30%. More than 5,000 child predators and human traffickers arrested, up 13%. More than 11,000 child victims located and identified, up 21%. Record disruptions across criminal, cyber, counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence, international operations, taking down hundreds of cyber criminal enterprises, espionage rings, and terrorist networks. Again, this is from the FBI. Let's move quickly. There's a lot that this president's doing and has done. Immigration. The U.S. had negative net immigration in 2025 for the first time in at least half a century. Compare that to Biden, when we had all those pictures of tens of thousands of people rushing the border. The president has deported more than 605,000 illegal aliens with an additional 1.9 million self-deporting. 1.9 million self-deporting, bringing the total number of illegals who have left the U.S. since the president returned to office to 2.5 million. He stopped more than 10,000 individuals with narco-terrorism ties from entering the United States. Daily detention numbers and arrests have reached record numbers. Border crossings and encounters with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have dropped significantly compared to prior years. ICE. I love ICE. I love ICE with my Diet Coke and I love ICE, period, with our government, and I want to thank each and every person in ICE. Thank you. ICE significantly ramped up hiring and personnel capacities backed by billions of new congressional appropriations. Trump administration terminated temporary protective status for a variety of dangerous third world countries, rescued more than 60,000 migrant children from sex trafficking and child labor. State Department paused immigrant visa processing for 75 countries whose migrants take welfare from the American people and unacceptable rate. And since returning to office in 2025, President Trump has drastically reshaped U.S. immigration policy through hundreds of executive actions, massive funding bills like the one big beautiful bill, and a government-wide push for widespread interior enforcement and border restrictions. The U.S. Border Patrol has documented unprecedented changes in illegal border crossings throughout 2025, meaning they have cratered, cratered illegal immigration coming into this country. With southwest border apprehensions reaching historic lows not seen in decades, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol's CBP reports that July 2025 marked another record-breaking month with the most secure border in history, achieving only 4,598 southwest border apprehensions, nearly 500 fewer than June's previous. And it goes on. Safer, illegal immigration almost ended. The president is using every tool he has as a president to address housing issues, energy issues, all these other issues. And yet here we have in our states, here we have in our states with the highest grocery prices, Hawaii, Alaska, California, Washington, and Vermont. Almost all Democrat states, in the case of Alaska, it transitions from Republican to Democrat back and forth. But it's far away. But some of these states, there's no excuse. Highest gasoline prices, Blue State, California, Blue State, Hawaii, Blue State, Washington State. And you have Alaska and Nevada, who are on the cusp. But nonetheless, states with the highest electricity bills, well, D.C., not a state, but there it is. Number one, New Jersey, number two, New Hampshire, number three, Maryland, number four, and then Ohio. Four out of five, Blue States. States with the highest annual cost for infant care, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, California, Minnesota, Colorado, Hawaii, all Democrat states. Top least affordable states by cost of living index. Number one, California, number two, New York, number three, Washington State. Number four, Connecticut, number five, Maryland, number six, New Jersey, number seven, Alaska, number eight, Massachusetts. All dark, blue, hardcore Democrat states. All of them. And then we have, according to the Cato Institute, the five least free states. New York, Hawaii, California, New Jersey, Oregon. All Democrat states. So, you know, I would say to my Republican friends who are running and with this midterm coming, you need to frame these discussions a little better. You need to get out there and confidently go on the offense and point out if you live in a dark blue state or a dark blue congressional district, you're paying more than anybody else in red states and dark red districts. Whether it's property taxes, whether it's income taxes, whether it's user fees, whether it's crossing bridges and they charge you a fee, whatever it is. The food prices, the child care prices, they're through the roof in dark blue states. And the interesting thing is when you put these numbers together with the red states, then you get these national numbers, right? So the blue states are dragging down the country. The blue cities are dragging down the country. When you look at the data, they're dragging down the data. And yet when you look at the Trump data and what Trump is doing, it's incredible. Even in the face of these obstacles from these blue governors, these blue mayors, these blue legislatures, look at what he's doing and look at the accomplishments.

contributor, Mark Thiessen, who joins us now. So obviously, a lot of people are feeling economic pain right now, but you've seen a drop in crime, you've seen a drop in inflation numbers, you've seen a border that has been closed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that people going to the polls feel all of that. No, that's exactly right. But I mean, think about this, think back to the '22 midterms. When Joe Biden, we had just had the Afghan withdrawal, the worst foreign policy debacle in our lifetime, we had the worst inflation in four decades, worst crime wave since the 1990s, the worst border crisis in American history, and he put in one of the best midterm performances of any president since JFK. So you know, those things, what matters really is candidate quality. And so if you think about the Senate, right, the Democrats need to gain a net of four Senate seats in order to take back the Senate and they have to hold on to Michigan, which is a blue seat, it's an open seat, but it's their seat, what do they do? They nominate an Islamic radical socialist who hates football in Michigan, right? They have to beat Susan Collins. So what do they do? They find Graham Plattner guy with a Nazi tattoo, and then they replace him with a guy who came in third in the gubernatorial race and has children with his cousin. So, you know, candidate quality matters a lot. Now, the bad news for Republicans is, if you look at the toss-up states, what are they? Alaska, Ohio, Iowa, you know, North Carolina, leaning down. So seats that used to be solidly red are in play this time around. Texas is a toss-up. That's insane. So a lot, it could go any way, any direction. Yeah, you know, I totally agree with you, candidates. That absolutely matters. And I see that. I think Vance's message is very good in that, you know, although as Charlie said, people are feeling the economic pain and I was just in the Midwest, spent a lot of time this summer in Wisconsin, and people are upset about the inflation. They also said their comments on the war were interesting. Their comments were wrap it up. I kept hearing that everywhere I went. He needs to wrap it up. So my question to you is, do you think it could wrap up before midterms? And what would that do to the midterms? Because as we pointed out here, everything else is going great. I'm a big advocate of wrapping it up and wrapping it up with a final hurrah that would really set this regime back a decade. Look, what Donald Trump did in Iran is one of the most important foreign policy decisions any American president has made in my lifetime. That regime has been at war with us for 47 years. He's the first president who fought back. But the problem is we stopped at the 20 yard line in April, right? We still had about 14 days of bombing that we had to do to take out their capabilities. And so what that means is it left them with the capability to hit Gulf oil infrastructure. It left them with the capability to hit American troops in the region. And what I'm really worried about is not just that the war is not wrapped up, but that there could be an October surprise in Iran. Yes, I read a column in the Washington Post about that, that the Iranians know the midterms are coming up. And they may want to affect the midterms by carrying it by raising the price of oil by attacking Gulf oil infrastructure right before the right before the midterm vote, causing some sort of chaos, forcing the president to go back to combat by killing some Americans right before the midterms. When what we should do, I think, honestly, is go back and just finish this thing, declare victory and end it and which we which we can do. What does that look like? What that looks like is finishing the last 14 days of the bombing campaign that was planned, hitting their economic infrastructure hard, taking out, you know, we've destroyed 85% of their defense industrial base, destroying 99% of it. They've got the plans on the table. Admiral Cooper has them. Execute that. And then you'd stop, you say, man, combat is over at the 20 yard line. Because I think he thought that we could get a deal. And he was it was suggested to him that a deal was possible. And President Trump always wants a deal rather than combat and we're and in killing people. And so that and that's an admirable quality about him. But we've and then what happened is we got into this cul-de-sac of negotiations followed by Iranian violations, followed by America having to retaliate, followed by more negotiations. And we've been stuck in this since April. And we could have this could have been done in April. I mean, the comp major to people who said midnight hammer. I thought we did it in midnight hammer. Why did we go in when we know that you talked earlier during the break, you said the threshold for pain in Iran is very high. Yes. But we kind of knew that before. Right. So midnight hammer was enormously important. Yeah. But what the audience were doing is they didn't they responded to midnight hammer not by saying, okay, this president's going to stop us from getting a nuclear weapon. They went on a barrage of building missiles, which what their plan was was to have a large enough missile capability that they could overwhelm any defenses that the U.S. had of its troops in the region or Israel had of its country. And then they could they'd have a shield by way behind which they could rebuild their nuclear program. And President Trump saw that and he had to stop them. I think I think just add to what you're talking about, which is so smart and so insightful is that we are looking at the administration unleashing an economic strangulation on Iran that has never before been seen. And the president mentioned that because it would cut off all energy transactions and financial dealings with all of the Gulf states. And that would be an economic impact that we would see certainly before the midterms. If that's coupled with an October surprise, does that settle this? So I think what the president is doing economically, it's been dubbed Operation Economic Fury, is one of the most effective military. So the Iranians are selling zero oil right now. And by the way, Admiral Cooper, the Ascent Comp, we've escorted 1,000 ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Not many people know that number. It's like 20 a day right now. We're sending about $10 billion of barrels of oil a day, a million barrels of oil a day. A thousand ships have gone through the Strait. The Iranians do not control the Strait of Hormuz. We control the Strait of Hormuz. So if you finish the military campaign and take that off the table, we're done. Open the strait, keep the blockade on. The Iranian regime will eventually collapse. But you can't predict if that escalates things. So that's a little bit, but we'll see what happens. I mean, I think people said wrap it up. So thanks for being here. Thank you.

Peace in the Korean Peninsula, which hasn't been achieved since the armistice in the 1950s. President Trump has single-handedly toppled Maduro, freed the people of Venezuela and secured the greatest boon for America's energy and supply chains probably in the history of our country. He's taken the fight to the drug cartels, declared them a foreign terrorist organization, used military power to fight these enemies of human civilization. And as you have mentioned, he stopped Iran, the Islamic theocracy of Iran, from obtaining a nuclear weapon that could destroy an entire city. And now you come at home. He's unleashed American energy. He's building pipelines. He's bringing the price of gas down from the heinous highs of the Biden administration. He's taken inflation from the highest level in American history down to 2 percent, the largest tax cut in American history, no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime. And he took the most unsecured, dangerous, violent, hellish border in the history of our republic, and 15 straight months, Sean, of zero releases, zero into the country.

Video transcript 4:51

Host of my view, Laura Trump joins us now. Laura, so let's start with that question. They're obviously the democratic socialists, the communist wing of the party. They're having a great summer. Will this be something that they'll be celebrating in the fall or will most of these democrat socialists who won in these primaries lose in the general? - Well, that is the real question, Rachel. November will be very telling for the future of the democrat party. They have a huge problem though. They have an enthusiasm problem, and they have had that for quite some time. They used all of their capital for four years to try to hype people up about Joe Biden. And when their voters realized they'd been lied to about this guy, they said, "Well, we're not really excited to vote for this party anymore. They don't really have any great rising stars. They're a party in debt and no one is excited about them." And so now what have they done? They decided to lean into where there was a little bit of enthusiasm and a little bit of energy in their party. Unfortunately, it was socialists, not democrats, who had that energy. But if they are able, come November, to actually see these people take seats in our House or our Senate, I think the democrat party we've always known is dead and gone, and I think their future will be of socialists and communists. And that is a really scary thing for every American. It should scare democrats. The establishment is terrified of these people, whether or not they've been willing to admit it, but it should be scary to every person in our country because once you go down that path, Rachel, you don't come back. - Yeah, you know, Laura, I don't think they're terrified of the ideas that the democrat socialists have. They're just terrified of losing power, that these primaries are not gonna work for them in the general. I thought this was an interesting thing for you to look at here. This is the Hill influencers most followed members of Congress on the democrat side. So the most followed are Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the House, among republicans it's Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Jim Jordan. So what does this tell you? It looks like we could use some young people on the republican side as well. Your thoughts? - Yeah, absolutely. It's become cool to be a republican and Donald Trump was able to make that a thing, right? I don't know why they're following Elizabeth Warren, quite frankly, unless they wanna see her pop beers every now and again and take a swig. But yeah, look, we have an opportunity here where Donald Trump gave us an opening and he really did open up this party. We have to embrace that and we have to lean into that and we especially need to be continuing to talk like our friend Charlie Kirk did to young Americans, to people in college and even kids in high school and talk to them about why our system works far better than the democrat system, especially now, Rachel, that we're comparing a capitalist system and our system we've had in America for 250 years to something that we know destroys countries like socialism and communism. We have to continue to educate people and yeah, we could use some help from the younger members of congress to do that, absolutely. So let's keep communicating, let's keep talking to the kids out there and every American, again, as we head towards November because this really is an election that I think is as important as 2024. If you've liked what Donald Trump has been able to do for the first two years of his second term and you wanna see that continue, we have to win these midterms. - Last week in the primary in Wisconsin, my son-in-law who won his primary, if he's elected in the general, he will become the youngest member of congress and he will also be the first one born in this century. So there is some, and by the way, at his election party, half of the room were young people and half the other half were older. So the message matters, but so do the messengers and I think that's what you're saying. Let's talk about the messengers on your show today because you have, go ahead, why don't you tell us who you have today? - Yeah, we have James Blair, of course, from the White House. We have Florida Attorney General James Uthmeyer who is doing a lot right now. He's talked about holding Fauci accountable, which we would absolutely love to see. Avi Loeb is in charge of UAPs for the White House. That used to be called UFOs. Rachel, people wanna tune in to hear what he's gotta say. It's so fascinating. I went to visit him at Harvard in his office and we talked about all kinds of things that he's seen and what he thinks we could see. You have to tune in tonight. Willie Robertson and Corey Robertson, they have a new movie that they're part of coming out now that is family friendly and it's a great way to end the summer. So nine o'clock tonight, I will see everybody there. I never miss it, Laura. Thanks for joining us.

- For incredibly good reason, Trace. Look, as has already been said several times tonight, this is the most consequential leader that we've ever seen, not just in the United States of America, but I think worldwide, and I think that's why he faces as much opposition as he does. And with that, that's why he's loved the way that he is. And I think for someone like him, I like to imagine myself back on that campaign in 2016, the few times I got to either interact with him or see him come and talk to our team, it's almost like he was prepared back then, over 10 years ago, knowing this is exactly what was going to happen. Knowing he was not going to be another leader that went in and did absolutely nothing, and knowing that with those strong actions and with that courage, unfortunately, would come some really dark days, but also some incredibly bright ones as well.

We're back Katie Zachariah Caroline sunshine Elizabeth Pipko very nice the president to mention the show there It's interesting Elizabeth Pipko to you first I you know, I wanted to bring up the AI thing because it's very true. I mean people are fascinated by AI They're also kind of afraid of AI and and they worry that the data centers might be in their backyard But even worse they might end up in China's backyard That's exactly right trace that is the nightmare scenario and that's what president Trump and let's say honestly Republicans at this point unlike their counterparts actually understand there is a global AI race going on right now Everybody knows that as the president said we cannot avoid but being in this race Competing in this race and making sure that America continues to be the leading technological and military power worldwide It's the only option that we have with the world that has an ever-changing landscape every single day the constant threats that both our country And our president has to face and knowing that China is working over time not just to compete globally But to compete directly with the United States of America You either want to win or you want to lose and thank God our current president wants to keep us on top Yeah, I think what I think he's right the the show really is that good I'm kidding the the whole idea behind the economy here is it's gonna be a struggle because the prices are still kind of high Caroline Yeah, but we talk about you know, look where we are We're in Blue State, California, right and we're in this port of San Pedro So the oil that comes to this port the second it comes off the ships and into the trains before it ever goes into Americans cars in California what happens Gavin Newsom slaps a $2 tax on it So while the rest of the country gets to enjoy low or high gas prices They are always high here in California has Gavin Newsom ever offered to temporarily lift that tax to permanently lift that tax No, what about when the president passed no tax on tips Gavin Newsom said nope not gonna do that here So it's the blue straights blue states that are intentionally obstructing a lot of what the president's trying to do Katie Well, I want to go back to China for a second because no other president has faced China like President Trump has and when he said About Venezuela earlier what he said about Iran China is the purchaser of 90% of their oil comes from Iran and with the AI race Independent energy president Trump knows that the prosperity and sovereignty of the United States is independent energy and he has done that for us And that is for our children our grandchildren and the heritage of future generations and also Greenland trace and so this is his multifaceted approach with China and he gets it and I'm so grateful as Elizabeth Pipko said We have a president who wants and cares about an energy in the AI race

Video transcript 2:07

In 1930, an 18-year-old Scottish woman, her name was Mary Ann McLeod, she boarded the SS Transylvania, it was bound for New York. She came from the remote island of Lewis, it was a really rugged place shaped by hard weather and hard labor and limited opportunity. And like millions before here, she came to America searching for something better. Her sister had already come, and so when she arrived, she arrived with $50 in her pocket. She registered as a domestic, she was a nanny and a maid, a servant, and she lived that life through the depths of the Depression. And she slowly built herself a life here in New York City. Years later, she married a man named Frederick. He was the son of the German immigrants. They had first entered through America, through Castle Garden, remember I told you his name was Frederick at first. Well they got married and they raised five children in Queens, and eventually they had one of those children they named Donald. He would be the one that would inherit eventually the family business. But he had an appetite for risk and a willingness to think and bet big, lose big sometimes, but to bet big and dream big, and to pursue something even larger than the New York skyline itself. But before becoming president of the United States, Donald Trump had a lot of work to do. He cut his teeth in real estate, just past this wall in New York. And one purchase in particular, he called it his Mona Lisa, if you will. And it exemplifies his willingness to just take the bull by the horns. The building is at the heart of a lawsuit designed to ruin him. The address is 40 Wall Street.

What the image shows chart

A screenshot/graphic attributed to Stephen Moore, framed with italic captions reading "From Stephen Moore" and "Shows inflation running at half the Biden rate." Below is a line chart titled "CPI Growth Since Taking Office," with the x-axis "Months in Office" (0-48) and y-axis "CPI Growth Percent" (0-22). Three lines are plotted: a red "Trump 1st Term" line, a blue "Under Biden/Harris" line, and a red "Trump 2nd Term" line (both Trump terms shown in red). The blue Biden/Harris line rises steepest, reaching about 21% by month 48, with a callout box noting "11.7% Inflation Biden" at roughly month 16-17. The Trump 2nd Term line is annotated "5.5% Inflation Trump Term2" at a similar early point, tracking noticeably lower than the Biden line at the same number of months. Another callout reads "3.6% Inflation Trump Term 1" pointing to the Trump 1st Term red line, which stays flat around 6-8% through 48 months.

What the image shows document

A photographed or screenshotted newspaper opinion column from The Washington Times, headlined "The grand strategy behind the Trump-Vance Iran deal" by Alexander B. Gray, with subheading "The president has displayed uncommon vision." The article argues that the Trump administration's Iran deal (following "Operation Epic Fury") achieved Trump's long-stated goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, credits Trump for reorienting U.S. grand strategy away from the Middle East and toward great-power rivalry with China, and praises his handling of Iran policy since 2015 as strategically sound. Below the article is the Washington Times masthead listing publisher and editorial staff.

Text in image: The grand strategy behind the Trump-Vance Iran deal The president has displayed uncommon vision By Alexander B. Gray The Trump administration's deal with Iran accomplishes the objectives set by the president at the outset of Operation Epic Fury, and it represents the culmination of his continuous strategic policy focus to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Most important, though, it begins the process of reorienting American grand strategy away from the Middle Eastern conflicts that have characterized the first quarter of the 21st century and toward the great power rivalries that will likely define the next. Essentially, President Trump obliged to use decisive military force against Iran to disengage from a region of peripheral concern to long-term U.S. interests. Since announcing his first campaign for president in 2015, Mr. Trump has been unequivocal that Iran cannot acquire a nuclear weapon. In 2018, he withdrew from the fatally flawed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action negotiated by President Obama — a deal that paid Iran large sums of cash in exchange for flimsy promises not to acquire nuclear weapons. Instead, the first Trump administration imposed substantial economic pain on Tehran and maintained that pressure until Mr. Trump's last day in office. The Biden administration almost immediately proposed further negotiations with Iran. Mr. Trump, returning to office in 2025, addressed the threat posed by the mullahs' unrepentant march toward nuclear weapons. He launched Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025. Iran's weapons program was largely destroyed. Operation Epic Fury achieved the limited goals set by Mr. Trump. Tehran's leadership was destroyed, its missile program was degraded, and its economy and supply chains were profoundly disrupted by the U.S. Navy's successful blockade. The Iranian regime is at its weakest since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Although Mr. Trump has expressed hope that the Iranian people will ultimately choose a different future, regime change was never a goal of Epic Fury. Rather, Mr. Trump has clearly understood the core American interest at stake with Iran: preventing a fanatical regime from gaining a nuclear weapon and preventing the disruption of a region that still supplies substantial global energy resources. In the process, Iran's myopic decision to militarily target U.S. Gulf Arab allies will solidify those states' efforts to increase their own defense while demonstrating the fallacy of the entreaties by China that proliferated during the Biden years. The United States will emerge from the Iran deal having met (and in some cases exceeded) its modest strategic goals for the region. Epic Fury's success will ultimately rest on America's ability to execute Mr. Trump's 2025 National Security Strategy, which prioritizes the defense of the U.S. homeland and the Western Hemisphere, as well as the projection of American power into the Indo-Pacific to deter China's attempt at hegemony. Although every administration since Mr. Obama's has promised some form of "pivot" or "rebalance" to the Indo-Pacific, only the Trump administration has done the difficult statecraft needed to position the U.S. for that strategic shift. Unlike every previous post-Cold War president, Mr. Trump has been honest about the trade-offs required to meet a challenge as formidable as that posed by the Chinese Communist Party. Mr. Trump's National Security Strategy identifies regions of greatest U.S. interest and directs resources accordingly. His conduct of Epic Fury and the accompanying peace deal reflect the realization of this strategy. By recognizing that, without American leadership, Iran will continue to divert U.S. attention and resources away from our most significant priorities, and acting accordingly, Mr. Trump displayed uncommon vision. His willingness to wage war for limited ends and to conclude a peace that serves core U.S. national interests will satisfy neither hawks nor doves, but it will place the U.S. in a better strategic position. The Trump-Vance administration approaches its second half with enviable strategic flexibility. The proposed $1.5 trillion defense budget would begin to reverse the steady erosion of the military balance between the United States and China that has threatened deterrence in the Indo-Pacific. Continued investments in American energy dominance at home make de-prioritizing the Middle East a realistic possibility. The president's agenda for American reindustrialization is bearing fruit, reviving the U.S. defense industrial base and encouraging the U.S. private sector to dominate the frontier technologies of the future, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing and fusion energy. America is on track to emerge from Operation Epic Fury in a far stronger position to win the competition that will define the remainder of the 21st century. Alexander B. Gray, a nonresident senior fellow at The Atlantic Council, served as deputy assistant to the president and chief of staff of the White House National Security Council from 2019 to 2021. Today, we're thrilled to officially launch the Trump accounts. On Saturday, July 4th, administration deposited one-time seed contributions, $1,000 each into the Trump accounts of over 500,000 American children. We're very excited to be here at the White House today to celebrate the launch of the Trump accounts and the meaningfulness that it has for our family of six and the families all across the country. We're so happy to be here at the White House celebrating the Trump accounts. We're so proud of President Trump and the work he's done to help give this guy a little start. We wanted to thank you for giving a once-in-a-generation opportunity to kids like mine with the announcement of your Trump accounts. Today, I got to go into the Oval Office for the bell ringing. I actually have a small business of my own, and having the Trump accounts is going to be very helpful for my business to be able to grow. We just wanted to say thank you to President Trump for opening the Trump accounts for trading and helping us to start our child's future. The great thing about Trump accounts is they deliver on the promise of ownership and skin in the game from birth. They also build an appreciation for our great country, and we're proud to serve as the initial broker and trustee for this amazing program. And today, we're here for a first. So, Jeff, do you want to talk about it being a first? This is a first. It's a first that you and I are together ringing a bell. It is, the first time in our history that NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange have come together. We've come together for the Trump accounts, which is truly an incredible creation that President Trump has led for us. This Trump account is so important to our country that we have to set aside our differences for one day and say, let's get together and let's really make sure that everyone understands that capitalism and the ability to participate in this country is the best thing that we can give to the next generation. And so every newborn in this country can get a Trump account, where they get money put into it. It's an investment account that they can save for their entire childhood, and they can be a part of the U.S. economy. We're very excited.

As I stand by the Declaration of Independence, which is a great honor, I keep hearing so much about TikTok and all of the influence they have and that how it's unfair and how it's this and that. But here's the only problem. I'm number one on TikTok. Can you believe it? I'm number one. Look at those numbers. Billions and billions of people are looking at Trump. And I keep hearing about the influence other people have. I don't know. How come I'm number one if they have so much influence? Here's your number, so I think we have influence, too. and I'm saying stop communism.
