Trump had such a good time in MSG in October, he went back. After regaining the presidency earlier this month, in emphatic fashion with an election blowout of the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris. Congratulations, sir. 47, rolling into the garden for UFC Fight Night. And he brought the Motley crew. Elon, RFK, Tulsi, VaVey, Dana White, Kid Rock. And if you look real close over Kid Rock's fur coat, you can see Speaker of the House Mike Johnson tagging along. The main event was outside the octagon. Everybody was trying to get close to the next president. Former mayor, Eric Adams, to jelly roll to the fighters themselves. Like heavyweight champ John Jones, who knocked out his opponent with a rib kick and then hit the YMCA. Big kick to the body by John. Oh, it hurt. To the body. How good is Johnny Bones? How good? Wow. He did the Trump dance. He did the Trump dance. The champ then took Rogan's mic and gave Trump a shot out. Listen. Not only are you entertained, but these are my people and are you willing to fight because here's who I have. The media went from Hail Hitler to Hail Caesar. Like Tiger said, winning takes care of everything. Why do you think they relate so much to the president? Well, if you saw the election, the entire country relates with Trump right now. I think the whole country, it feels like somebody hit the reset button. It wasn't just inside of the octagon, it was inside of the ring. The New York Times says, when Trump's not running through personnel, he's been spotted in the tea room beneath the gold canopied roof or out on the Mar-a-Lago patio, picking out music on his iPad and blasting Pavarotti. It's party time at the Winter White House and everybody wants to get on the guest list. When you were growing up, your perception of politics was that Democrats were the cool party and Republicans were the party of lame, upright scolds. I had the same perception. I think we're around the same age and my perception was reinforced by my time working for Barack Obama. You argue that somewhere along the line, the perception of the parties switched. Secret Trump voters are even throwing coming out parties. In blue counties, neighbors are putting up Trump yard signs after the election. And in blue cities, people are rocking MAGA hats, not afraid of getting sucker punched. Like I told my mom after the election, like the Stone song. You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need. You're getting what you get. That's who the guy is. And I like him. I've grown to like him. I had a much more negative opinion of him back in the day. But as time went on, I was like, oh, you need a guy that is completely crazy to expose how corrupt the whole system is. Trump's like an acquired taste and he's suddenly catching on everywhere. They called him Hitler, but when he won, they wanted to be at his party and the media has FOMO. First is congratulations. You not only won one big one big that's everybody should get props just for success. Despite the, you know, the vulgarities and the, you know, maybe because maybe because. But also my mantra losers look in the mirror. Well, I think I think that's what everybody has to do. Other members of the media are making pilgrimages to Mar-a-Lago. Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years. Now, we talked about a lot of issues and it's going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues. And we told him so. What we did agree on was to restart communications. Joe and I realize it's time to do something different. And that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him. Morning Joe went to Mar-a-Lago to mend fences. Let that sink in before they had key lime pie with them Friday. This is what they were saying about the guy. He is running to end American democracy as we know it. He's an authoritarian, assassinate generals that weren't sufficiently politically loyal to him. That's sort of straight out of the Nazi playbook. This is not a reach. I could go back and talk about Nazi Germany and I'd do it without any concerns whatsoever. And if people can't start drawing the parallels, well, you're just stupid or you have your head in the sand or you're one of them. So that was all a lie. Their ratings are down, their network's for sale and they're irrelevant. So they just want to rehab the relationship. On again, off again, on again, off again. It's like high school. Trump could have easily pushed them into the pool and made them walk back to their Uber wet. But Trump was the bigger man. He says the meeting with Morning Joe was extremely cordial and they congratulated me on running a great and flawless campaign. One for the history books. The Ladies of the View saw right through it. A lot of people who are probably looking at what Joe and Mika did and find it opportunistic. There are people who change their stripes or maybe their spots, I should say today, depending on who is in power and what benefits them. I don't know that that's what they are doing. There's no way legacy media is going to stop Trump if the views beefing with Morning Joe. No way. The resistance media is being divided and conquered. And common sense is even making a comeback in Canada. Trudeau sounds like Stephen Miller. Immigration. Let's talk about it. In the last two years, our populations grow really fast, like baby boom fast. Increasingly, bad actors like fake colleges and big chain corporations have been exploiting our immigration system for their own interests. So we're doing something major. We're reducing the numbers of immigrants that will come to Canada for the next three years. Disney just announced it's removing trans characters and Berkeley's cracking down on homeless encampments. The whole world's changing. The Deep State starting the lawyer up and K Street is scrambling. Lobbyists are freaking out because they don't know any of Trump's cabinet picks. Are you going to be closing down departments? We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright. We expect mass reductions in force in areas of the federal government that are bloated. We expect massive cuts among federal contractors and others who are overbilling the federal government. So yes, we expect all of the above. Trump's the candidate of hope and change now. Sorry, Barack. There's a mandate and he's picking the right people to execute it. He's not just draining the swamp, he's destroying it. Each cabinet pick has a stick of dynamite. But this wrecking crew can't even start the job unless the Senate can sense. That's the first big battle. Trump's uniting the country and he's not even president yet. He's creating the unity that Biden promised but never delivered. We're at the beginning of a cultural renaissance. It would be a shame if something as pitiful as politics stood in the way.
