But if Joe Biden gets his way, you will soon be facing colossal tax hikes, the likes of which no one has ever seen before, almost six trillion dollars in his latest budget and going up. In addition, every day you're also paying stealth tax of Joe Biden's massive inflation. A stealth tax like nobody's seen before either because, frankly, the inflation is probably the worst ever, but certainly the worst in the last 70 years. It's been a disaster for the American taxpayer. It's been a disaster for the American citizen. Every dollar in your bank account is worth 20 to 30 percent less than the day Joe Biden took office. As you know, my son has graduated from high school, and it looks like the judge will not let me go through the graduation of my son, who's worked very, very hard. He's a great student. He's very proud of the fact that he did so well. And I was looking forward for years to have graduation with his mother and father there. And it looks like the judges are going to allow me to escape the scam. It's a scam trial. If you read all of the legal pundits, all of the legal scholars today, there's not one that I see that said this is a case that should be brought or tried. It's a scam. It's a political witch hunt. It continues. It continues forever. And we're not going to be given a fair trial. It's a very first-aid thing. In addition, as you know, next Thursday, we're before the United States Supreme Court and a very big hearing on immunity. And this is something that we've been waiting for a long time. And the judge, of course, is not going to allow us. He's a very conflicted judge. And he's not going to allow us to go to that. He won't allow me to leave here for a half a day, go to D.C. and go before the United States Supreme Court because he thinks he's superior, I guess, than the Supreme Court. And we got a real problem with this judge. We have a real problem with a lot of things having to do with this trial, including the DA, because you go right outside, and people are being mucked and killed all day long. And he's sitting here all day with 10 or 12 prosecutors, over nothing, over nothing, over what people say -- over what people say shouldn't be a trial. So I just want to thank you very much. But that I can't go to my son's graduation or that I can't go to the United States Supreme Court, that I'm not in Georgia or Florida or North Carolina campaigning like I should be, it's perfect for the radical left Democrats. How can the former president expect a fair trial? - Well, a gag order is a clear violation of the First Amendment, but judges get away with it, because by the time it's challenged on appeal, the case is over. But this case is also something else, a classic example of unequal justice in selective prosecution. Hillary Clinton did pretty much the same thing. She too used a lawyer to secretly pay for the phony Steele dossier and booking it as legal expenses. She was fined by the FEC, but she wasn't prosecuted, and neither was Barack Obama, even though he was fined a whopping $375,000 for hiding donors and keeping illegal contributions. But if your last name is Trump, the standard of justice is completely different and turned on its head. - You're right, it's a double standard. Greg, let's talk about there, the prosecutor's star witness. It's Michael Cohen, he used to be Trump's lawyer exactly. We chuckle because he's flip-flopped so many times in the past, we don't know what to believe. He's been in prison for federal charges himself. So here is a reminder of what he has said, 'cause he told the grand jury a year ago, his goal was to tell the truth. But what is the truth? He flip-flops, listen. - I will be in DC and in New York, anywhere Mr. Trump deems necessary. I'll be there. I did not want to go to the White House. I was offered jobs. The plea of one person does not determine the guilt of another. It's not even admissible evidence at trial. And Cohen gratuitously pled guilty to a non-crime, just a curry favor with the feds in exchange for leniency for as many other crimes, including fraud. But get this, recently in court, he recanted what he stated in his sworn plea deal, which means he either again committed perjury in the plea itself, or perjury in his recent court testimony, and that prompted the judge to call Michael Cohen a serial perjurer. I can't imagine any objective juror believing anything he has to say. Any half-decent defense attorney will utterly destroy Cohen from cross-examination and expose his litany of lies. All right. This case is basically a state misdemeanor that had run out on the statute of limitations, and Bragg was forced, after he declined for a long time to bring this charge, to do so. His predecessor rejected it, and so they took a dead misdemeanor and bootstrapped it into effectively trying a federal crime. But the federal crime here under election law was rejected by the Department of Justice. They didn't feel that this should be charged. So you have this crazy case that's going to go forward, and it's going to turn on the testimony of people like Michael Cohen. I want to begin with the major development that we just saw earlier today. New York appeals court reducing that $464 million judgment to $175 million has given President Trump 10 additional days to post bond. Your thoughts on that? Well, it's well past due that it happened. It's a major blow to Latisha James and the other Democrat politician, Judge Angoran, who had a nearly half billion dollar levy, they wanted him to have to pay up in order just to appeal this unprecedented decision to try to seize his assets and destroy his company. Frankly, I think $175 million is too much, but obviously Trump can handle it. But it's an indication that even the machine in New York can be checked if you have an honest judge or two. Let's see how much further they go. I mean, on the other hand, you have proceeding this sham prosecution by the Soros-backed prosecutor Alvin Bragg, another Democratic politician. The challenge in New York is it's not just the prosecutors who are elected. A lot of the judges are elected or selected most directly by the Democratic machine up there. And of course, in my view, they're all dancing to the tune of the Biden administration. Whether it be Fulton County or here in DC or up in New York City, I've never seen anything like this in American history. We should be concerned when a presidential candidate is being abused by like this. This, to me, is like a human rights violation, the way Trump has been abused over the last several years by both first the deep state and now the Biden administration and their Democratic allies. It really is amazing that someone can actually run for office and say, "I'm running for office to actually go after this particular individual who I don't have any proof of breaking any laws, but we're going to go after him." Trump also tweeting on Truth Social about Judge Ingeron refusing to obey the decision by the Appellate Division relative to the statute of limitations. I've seen President Biden sort of ignore the Supreme Court as much as he can on the student loan thing. You've got this tweet about the ignoring the Appellate Division. I'm concerned about this, the pillar, one of the greatest pillars of strength in our nation and that's our judicial system. I mean, this law fair is not just law fair, but it's even taking down or ignoring certain truths like the Supreme Court that we've had in place forever. Yeah, and there's this anti-Trump animist that's kind of ruining the courts. It's ruining respect for the courts and in the case of Biden, he's the catch me if you can approach to governance. He'll do what he can and if the Supreme Court steps in, he'll stop, then he'll push again. It's all politics to too many politicians when it comes to the rule of law. And up in New York, I was thinking about what might the business community be thinking here? Is it just limited to Trump? You remember the governor was trying to say, "Oh no, this is all just about Trump," confirming it was an anti-Trump operation. But then Latisha James just sued the largest meat maker or meat producer in the country pursuing some crazed theory of emissions tied to the company. So it's all about politics up there and there's anti-Trump animists and you can be sure Latisha James is raising a lot of money because of this anti-Trump activity. She obviously has her eyes set on higher office and I word other attorney generals are going to start just engaged in political prosecutions in ways that we've never seen before in this country. It just feels like what you can't get the public to vote for now, you'll force through this sort of law fair or heavy handedness. I just wanted to point out to the audience that there's $464 million. In the last two years, you got Wells Fargo that's fined $2 billion for abusing 16 million people. $464 million with something with no victims, with no one complained, seems a lot. And we've had these firms, all these Wall Street firms, $120 million for mistreating the women who work for them, $140 million for mistreating their customers. I mean, these are actual victims who've had smaller fines. It just feels egregious to your point. And it feels like it's going to, I hope it backfires because this is not what America was built on.
