Day AnalysisUnlike President Trump, then-VP Joe Biden wasn’t the President when he took classified records with him when he left office. Presidents have the constitutional and statutory power to declassify and take records when they leave office. Not VPs. FBI raid? Intel assessment? https://twitter.com/cbsnews/status/1612575253410074663?s=61&t=Dh3oG2saxOag44QggNdlOg
We just passed the rules pkg for the 118th Congress. Here’s what it entails. Thanks again to @realDonaldTrump for helping us get here!!!
Video transcript
Hi everybody, I'm Mark Alford, your voice in Congress and your voice in the 4th Congressional District. It is Monday and we're back in Washington, right outside the Capitol here. You can see that. And today we're finally, finally going to be able to get to work. It is an exciting day where we plan to be voting late into the night tonight. And I'm here to share with you some more details of exactly what we're going to do on our first vote. Our first vote tonight is to pass the most conservative House rules package for the 118th Congress. Let me tell you folks, there are a lot of great things in our rules plan that are going to help us really effectively pass conservative legislation that we've needed for a long time. Before we get into the details and the new rules though, let me quickly explain exactly what those House rules are. What do I mean by House rules? Well, House rules are the governing guidelines set forth and voted on by the entire Congress. They're really the essential playbook that guides Congress on things like how and when we vote. They also give operating procedures and for the last four years, they've been dictated by Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats. Not anymore folks. Now under conservative Republican leadership, our first vote on the House rules package fixes a lot of the broken issues that impact our ability to legislate and serve you at home. The House rules package that we're voting on tonight is the most conservative proposal in decades and it's going to deliver on our commitment to you, our commitment to create a strong economy, a safe nation and a future based on freedom. This rules package will finally, finally restore the people's House ending the use of proxy voting and those remote committee meetings. Elected members, we're supposed to be here to do our jobs, not legislate over Zoom or cast a vote from a beach in California. Well, in our rules, we also have a plan to counter Communist China by establishing a select committee on the strategic competition between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party. We're finally, finally confronting the dangerous threat posed by the CCP and defending human rights all around the world. We also have a plan to hold the Biden administration accountable, Hunter Biden and Anthony Fauci. We're going to hold them accountable as well for their continuous abuses of power by requiring House committees to establish detailed oversight plans. Lastly and most importantly, we have a plan to build transparency, transparency to have an effective Congress. We are mandating at least 72 hours between the release of Bill's text and the final votes on those bills, giving each and every member ample time to read the legislation before we vote on it. That means bills cannot be written behind closed doors and brought to the House floor without giving us time to read it. You know, it's absurd that that ever happened to begin with. And we're also eliminating Democrats' creation of House staff labor unions so that congressional staff are accountable to the elected officials and the constituents they serve. And we've also reinstated Calendar Wednesdays, which allows committee chairs to bring bills directly to the House floor and create an open amendment process. It's very important. It's all much needed change, and we truly have a lot, a lot to be excited for with our new majority. That's right, Republican majority. So tonight we're going to vote to pass this conservative House rules package. Stay tuned. I'll be back later with more updates. Take care, everyone.

All flights have been canceled throughout the Good Ol’ USA due to incompetence and the fact that we are now living in the equivalent of a Third World Nation. I talk about our obsolete airports all the time at our big America First Rallies. We have no Borders, no Energy Independence (anymore!), no airports, no Nothing. We do have Massive Inflation, a Rotten Economy, and RIGGED ELECTIONS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Biden’s documents are HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, many pertain to UKRAINE, where Hunter was “raking in the dough,” and FUNDED BY CHINA, which gave $55 Million to Biden, through Penn, and probably had easy access. Was the Old Crow’s boss, China loving Coco Chow, involved? Just asking?
Karl Rove was, as usual, wrong when he stated that then V.P. Biden’s HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL papers, which were in his office for many years, were in any way similar to the Secret Service guarded, & otherwise very secure, Mar-a-Lago papers. Biden was not then President, had no power to declassify, & came under the very tough Federal Records Act. I come under the much more generous Presidential Records Act, was having productive discussions with Radical Left NARA, & did everything right. A giant Scam

Classified Documents Double Standard Fuels Morning Rage Before Aide-Curated Link Barrage
Trump spent the morning focused on the newly revealed Biden classified documents story, arguing his own document situation was fundamentally different and legal. He lashed out at Karl Rove for drawing comparisons between the two cases and used racially charged language to attack Mitch McConnell's wife in an attempt to tie Biden's documents to China. After a two-hour gap, a rapid-fire batch of over a dozen conservative news links was posted in under five minutes — almost certainly by staff — reinforcing themes of Biden weakness, January 6 blame-shifting, and pro-Trump loyalty. The overall mood was combative but controlled, with anger front-loaded and propaganda curation filling the rest of the day.
