- Not to mention, as we bring in former acting ice director Tom Holman, he's joining us by phone. Not to mention, Tom, the over 400,000 convicted criminals on the non-detained docket that are right now roaming the country. Your reaction to this breaking news? - I'm shocked. I'm sitting here shocked because, you know, I spent over three decades with others. And it's just incredible, these numbers. That's what you get when you end catch and release. You know, President Trump ended catch and release. These people shouldn't be walking around the streets. However, they restart catch and release. And while they're releasing these people, understand this, there are thousands of empty ice beds. Ice beds already paid for by ice, already paid for sitting empty while these people are around the streets. And here's the scary part, as Bill said, not only we got 2.2 million known data ways, right? And we don't know who these people are, but we know they didn't get fingerprinted, didn't get vetted at all. But even with these numbers, people need to understand the vetting process on the Southwest border. Many people do get vetted on the Southwest border. We don't have access to criminal data, like from El Salvador or Guatemala or Venezuela or China. So a lot of these countries, they can be criminals too, but we'll never know it because we don't have access to that data. So these numbers are obviously much higher than that. But it's, and look, and I agree with Bill on this, sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals. President Trump sued sanctuary cities. We're in a middle lawsuit at the end of his presidency. When the first thing Joe Biden did, he got in the office and told DOJ to drop the lawsuit. So it's like the perfect storm for American public safety. It's just incredible. - So Tom, how does this happen? We're told by the Biden administration that, oh, these people are coming across the border illegally, but we're vetting them. We're putting them through a process. And then if eligible, they're allowed to remain in the United States. How did they miss the part about convicted murderers? How did they miss the part about convicted of rape or sexual assault? - 'Cause of vetting, the vetting is terrible. Like I said, Bill, when you vet somebody, you only vet them against NCI databases. And some countries share criminal data, but most don't. And look, the example of that was three weeks ago where they arrested a person in Venezuela that was here in the United States that was wanted for over 20 murders in his home country. But we didn't have that data during the vetting process. So that's the problem. And that's why you don't end, that's why you don't end detention. You don't do catch release like President Trump. They keep these people in custody till we have time to drill down in their histories and make sure we know who these people are. And even the APD alternatives to detention, these people are released on some sort of boarding procedures. And here's another thing. ICE has decreased significantly how many of those people are no longer on GPS. They used to be on an echo monitor, a phone that tracked my GPS. GPS has been cut tremendously because they don't want these people tracked. Look, this is a scary part. This administration is lying to American people and people are not showing up in court. And here's the thing. If you look at the Homeland Security Life Suck Report, for those 90% of asylum seekers who are gonna get order removal in the future if they simply don't fall for asylum, if you look at the Homeland Security Life Suck Report, like when it comes to family, only 6% of that 90% actually leave the country because we can't find them. Again, a massive failure by this administration to come out of here. - Yeah, Tom, I've heard a lot of warnings from you before, but perhaps none like you just said after learning of this news. You called it the perfect storm for American public safety. What is it that you're suggesting? I mean, based on these numbers, 13,000 convicted illegal alien murderers roaming the country, 15,000 convicted rapists are here, over 400,000 convicted criminals are now roaming the country. What are you suggesting this could look like when you call it the perfect storm? - Well, people are saying, we talked about crime up to this country. And of course, in the left pushback, there's no such thing as a migrant crime search. Yes, there is, and this is more evidence of it. And look, Tamala Harris is not gonna fix the border. Matter of fact, she should be ashamed of even going to the border because she broke it. We handed this administration the most secure border of my lifetime, and they unsecured it on purpose. She compared the ICE to the KKK. She attacked the men of the Border Patrol, Horse Patrol Condom Races. They have opened the flood gate. And remember this, Secretary of State of New York just has told ICE, you can't even look for somebody who's in the country illegally. That's a convicted of mysterious crime. And so, you know, most illegal hands are running around free knowing that no one's looking for them because of the policy of this administration. Look, I'll say it again. This is why we need President Trump back in office, who will, number one, secure the border and catch release and hold sanctuary cities accountable. Sanctuary cities, even some sheriffs will say, well, we're a sanctuary because we want victims and witness of alien crime to feel welcome to come and report that crime without fear of what's working with ICE. That is a stone cold lie because victims and witnesses of a crime don't want the bad guy released back in their community to take revenge. And so I said, sanctuary cities are sanctuary criminals. And Bill mentioned it. When you release a bad guy from the county jail, ICE is gonna do the job and go look for that person. And that's gonna put the officer at great risk 'cause he's trying to access, we don't know what weapons when he was in a safety and security of the jail. It puts the immigrant community at greater risk of crime 'cause a bad guy's gonna go back in that community to re-offend. It puts the immigrant community at greater risk of vice arrest 'cause we go find that bad guy. He's probably gonna be with others that weren't even on the radar. And I would tell any politician to believe in sanctuary cities, go to the immigrant community and ask them one simple question. Would you rather have ICE in the jail or in the community than most say the jail? 'Cause immigrant communities, even though many across this country are legally invited to law here illegally, most of God, fear, and family, people that wanna protect their families too. So they don't want predators in their neighborhoods either. So this is another barrier of the Harris Administration that can only be fixed by putting Donald Trump back in office and doing what we did best, making the border the most secure border we've ever had. And that was proven by data. That's not, that's just a stone cold fact. And taking the handcuffs off ICE so ICE can go look for these people who are here illegally and convicted of the most heinous crimes, let ICE do their job, they're good at it, but you gotta let 'em do it.

What is your first reaction to it, real time, tonight? >> Well, the biggest reaction is why didn't she do the things that she's complaining about? All of these things that she talked about, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that, we're gonna do everything, but she didn't do any of it. She could have done it three and a half years ago. She could do it tonight by leaving the auditorium and going to Washington DC and closing the border. She doesn't need a bill, I didn't have a bill, I closed the border and created the safest border we've ever had in the history of our country. She could have done all of these things and she could still do them. She's got four and a half, five months left. She can go there right now. She can do all of the things, many of the things that she's talking about and complaining about. A lot of complaining. She didn't talk about China. She didn't talk about fracking. She didn't talk about crime. She didn't talk about 70% of our people are living in poverty. She didn't talk about housing, really. The trade deficit, she didn't talk about child trafficking that she's allowed to happen because she was the borders are and she presided over the weakest border in the history of our country. It's an invasion, I was there today, as you know, Brett, it's an invasion of our country taking place at our border, our southern border. It's a total invasion. And now it's starting at our northern border also through Canada. And she didn't talk about any of that because she talked, but she doesn't do it. It's no action. But you know, look, other than that, it was a nice looking room, Mr. President Martha McCallum here. She said that she hi there, she is promising middle class tax cuts. And she says that if you are elected, it will cost Americans $3,900 more a year in increased taxes. She's tying all of that to this Project 2025. That's where that number is coming from. What do you say to that? Well, she knows I have nothing to do with Project 25. They throw it out. A group of people got together. They did a thing. I haven't even seen it. I don't want to see it. I told them specifically, I don't want to see it. People know where I stand. I lower taxes. She's raising taxes. She's going to give a tax increase of four to five times what people and companies are paying right now. The country will go into a depression if they do it. She didn't talk about interest rates. I mean, the interest rates are now getting close to record rates. People can't do business. Nobody can borrow money. People can't go to the American Dream and buy a house because they can't afford the interest rate. And even if they could, the money isn't available. She didn't talk about any of that. Now, if she if she got in, look, she's a Marxist. She always was. She always will be. She's going to leave the border open. I was there today and the border patrol, as you know, gave me total endorsements and all of that. I've gotten endorsed by almost every major police group in the United States. But she is a Marxist with open borders. She's not going to have any fracking in Pennsylvania. She's going to close down the oil and gas industry. And our country is going to go bust. She didn't talk about the thirty five trillion dollars, which I was going to start paying off with liquid liquid gold that we have right under our feet. We were to start paying off debt, lowering, lowering taxes still further. And you know, she wants to raise the taxes on corporations. What they're going to do is pick up and move to another country like the pharmaceutical industry, move to Ireland and they move to other places. Many of these industries were just very their international companies. If she raises taxes like she wants to do on companies, there go those jobs. I'm more interested in the jobs than the companies. But there go those jobs and what's going to happen, Martha, they're going to pick up, they're going to move to another country, they're going to pick up and move to another country where they're going to be promised taxes at half the numbers that she's talking about. And more than that. Mr. President, on the issue of immigration, Vice President Harris, like many Democrats in this hall throughout this week, have used the bipartisan Senate bill and your efforts to lobby Republicans not to move forward with that, to use the issue in this election as part of this speech. She said she will sign that bipartisan bill. To your point, doesn't talk about executive orders that could have been launched in the beginning of the Biden administration. But how do you respond to that? And are you ready to debate Kamala Harris on September 10th, giving what you heard tonight? Well number one debate on September 4th at Fox and she turned it down because as you know, Brett, I was willing to debate with you and Martha. I was going to debate on September 4th. She turns it down and I'm willing to debate on I don't like ABC. I think ABC is probably the worst of the group, but I'm willing to do ABC. I was willing to do CNN with Joe Biden and you saw what happened there. I mean, CNN does not treat me or Republicans very good, but I was willing to do it because it was the only way I could get to debate him and ask him how that turned out. But look, I am willing to debate and I think we should do much more than one debate, but you know better than anybody. I'm ready, willing and able because I told you yes and she turned you down. And on the immigration issue? On the immigration, the it's very simple. The bill was horrible. It would have allowed millions of people to pour into our country would have been horrible. There was a horrible bill. It was a joke. She doesn't need a bill. I didn't have a bill. I closed the border. I have the safest border in the history of our country. I closed it up as president. Now she'll have to get Joe to do it, but she could probably have a lot to do with that. Right now. Joe's missing. He's on a beach in California. You know what, all she has to do or all he has to do is say, I want to close the border. The border is closed. As of now. They don't need bills. They don't want to close the border. I stood at the border today in 100 degree weather. And I will tell you, it's a dangerous place. And I was being told by Secret Service and a lot of other law enforcement, sir. It's really dangerous here. I think it's time to leave. You wouldn't believe the things that I saw at that border. She's the borders are. She wants to deny that. But she's the border. In any event, she was in charge of the border. She's the worst borders are in the history of the world. There's never been a border so unsafe as this one. 20 people, 20 million people have poured into our country, many of them from prisons and jails, from mental institutions and insane asylum and record number of parents and other countries are releasing their prisoners from their jails. They're emptying out their jails into the United States of America because of her incompetence and her bad border policies. She is a horrible, horrible person to run this country. We won't have a country if she gets elected. Let me ask you this, sir. There has been a huge appeal and momentum for women voters. She's trying to pull that the youth vote, the Hispanic vote, the black vote back in her direction polls show that she's having some success in that at this point. So what are you going to do? What's your strategy to rebuild the momentum that you had with those voters? Now, she's not having success. I'm having success. I'm doing great with the Hispanic voters. I'm doing great with black men. I'm doing great with women because women want safety. They want safety and they don't have safety when they have somebody allowing 20 million people into our country, many of them very dangerous people. No, it's only in your eyes that they have that, Martha. We're doing very well in the polls. We're leading in most of the polls and in in the swing state. We're leading in almost every one of them. Mr. President, the auto workers are voting for me because you're not going to have an auto industry if she gets elected to go into all electric cars. All electric cars are going to be made in China and you're not going to have you literally will not have an auto industry. The United auto workers ought to be ashamed of themselves. They sold the workers down the tube. Two quick things as we wrap up here, Mr. President. Tomorrow, do you expect to be endorsed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and are you making a specific effort in Georgia to make up, if you will, with the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp? Well, I just saw Brian on a very good man. Did you ever hear of a man named Sean Hannity? And he was interviewed by Sean Hannity and he was very nice and he said he wants Trump to win and he's going to work with me 100 percent. And I think we're going to have a very good relationship with Brian Kemp. And that was on just before you people went on with that speech that we just listened to. And R.F.K. Jr.? It just it just happened. And as far as R.F.K., I've had a great relationship with him over the years. I respect him. He respects me. I have no idea if he's going to endorse me. I know he's got a news conference. We happen to be in the same state. Arizona will be in the same state, but in quite different parts of the state. But it's possible we will be meeting tomorrow and we'll be discussing it. He said, look, he was treated very unfairly by the Democrats. He would have beaten Joe Biden in a Democrat primary. I have no doubt about it. And they made it absolutely impossible for him. They made it that you have to get 60, 70 percent of the vote just to get in. And you know what? In the end, the Democrats did the same thing to Joe Biden. They threw Joe Biden out of the party. And that's why we saw a different night tonight. Mr. President, thank you so much for the time. It was a mostly peaceful weekend in Washington. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and little Johnny G. Hotties surrounded the White House. The Johnny G. Police made no arrests. Actually, there was one arrest, but he escaped. Biden says he's defending democracy, but can't defend the statue of the general who helped start it. It was also Biden's biggest turnout of the season, crowd size in the tens of thousands. More Democrats protested Biden in one night than showed up to support him all year. Kamala also got showered with Sharia love in Michigan. We mourn all the innocent lives that have been lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed today. For the past eight months, President Biden and I have been working every day to bring this conflict. I'm speaking right now, and I value and respect your voice, but I'm speaking right now. While Biden and Kamala were getting heckled out of their own blue backyards, Trump was on their home turf, getting some California love. 45 didn't come home empty handed. More on that in a minute. Then he flew to Vegas for a campaign rally that was so hot, the teleprompter broke. Could you imagine if Biden was up? He's no good with the teleprompter. He's the worst I've seen, but could you imagine if the teleprompters were off? Here's Biden. He's, oh, he wouldn't even say anything because he's incapable. He'd probably go pause. You know, pause about what he's reading the teleprompter. And then they say pause, meaning, you know, maybe you'll get about three people clapping and he goes pause. No, he just walked off the stage like this. Oh, tell a bro, this guy is the worst. After the comedy show, Trump revealed a new economic policy that hardworking Americans are going to love. You know, people are saying to themselves, were we better off four years ago, or are we better off now? And it wasn't even close. We had the greatest economy in history. What we did in taxes, nobody's ever done. So this is the first time I've said this. And for those hotel workers and people that get tips, you're going to be very happy because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips, people making tips. Now, when I was a bellhop, they paid me about 425 an hour, but I made hundreds of dollars in cash tips, which we didn't report, obviously, because they can tax it. But everything's on credit cards now. You can't hide it. Uncle Sam taxes tips. Biden hired 87,000 extra IRS agents, gave them guns to do it. Trump's tip tax cut makes Biden look like a sinister old geezer. And it's already moving the needle. I did talk with some hotel workers yesterday, some service workers here in Las Vegas about how that is playing with them. And Annemarie, about six people told me that would change their vote. That is enough to make them switch from voting Democrat to Republican if Donald Trump is promising something like that to them. Sources in Delaware tell me Biden's a terrible tipper. Usually has somebody else pay for him. But when he does pay, no bueno, a bad tipping president who taxes tips doesn't get reelected. A new CBS poll says the economy is the number one issue for Americans, not the Trump conviction. That's at the bottom of the list. And it's not just the economy stupid. Turns out most America wants mass deportations too. Would you support a new government program that would deport all people living in the U.S. illegally? And that finds majority favor. That finds six in 10. So unpack that a bit, because this 62 percent of Americans favor deporting all undocumented immigrants. Some of what Mr. Trump talks about could be illegal. It doesn't seem practical in some sense to round up children. So what exactly do people think they're supporting? Deporting illegals could be illegal is the kind of brilliant analysis Americans are blessed with on CBS Sundays. Remember Biden's executive order to shut down the border if border crossings hit over 2500 a day. Well, border crossings have been over 2500 a day every day since Biden signed the order and he hasn't shut it down the day after he signed the order. There were 4000 border crossings. The next day they were 10000. Anybody hear anything about Biden shutting down the border? You didn't, because he didn't. Why would Democrats support a man like that? They don't. A friend of the show, Nick Shirley, went to Compton. Watch. Who are you voting for in 2024? Obama. Obama's not even running. I don't know then. I'm voting for Trump. I'm voting for Trump because he's putting money in our pocket. I'm gonna say Sleepy Joe. Sleepy Joe. Nah, I'm just playing. It's probably Trump. I ain't gonna lie, I'll go for Trump. I really would. I'll go for Trump because Biden ain't showed his name. Trump for the people. Give me Trump, bro. And why so? Because he foe us. He's here as the Trump. Joe Biden's been present from 2020 to 2024. What differences have you seen in those past eight years? Everything's going up. Food's going up. Gas going up. The economy is going up. So it's a difference, a major difference. But I haven't done for our community yet. We're still in the ghetto. We're still in the head. Whatever you're doing. I haven't seen no changes. Period. From Compton to Silicon Valley, Democrats are walking away from the guy who can barely walk. Trump hold in $30 million from his California swing. 12 million came straight out of Nancy Pelosi's backyard. Tech billionaires say they were impressed by how eloquent and articulate Trump was and opened up their checkbooks. He wasn't the guy I see on TV. One source told the Post he was very thoughtful and self-deprecating. One of the billionaires who hosted the fundraiser for Trump was a lifelong Democrat who says he's been forced into political homelessness as a Democrat who has been left homeless, who is now definitely in the center, but probably leaning increasingly right. I'm left yet again with an appreciation despite the messenger of the message of the Trump administration. Fire's remorse is rippling through the Democrat ranks. And Clinton guru James Carville says, don't blame me. I never wanted the guy. It isn't the choice that I was crazy about. I actually was very public that I thought that President Biden should not run for reelection, but he did. And as human Trump, and that's where I am, the lack of enthusiasm among young people for public policy or public service or being involved in the public square is quite disheartening. And the Democrat numbers guru Nate Silver announced today that the Biden approval rating has reached an all time low and says Biden is in much worse shape than he was four years ago and is on track to lose handily and suggests we might have hit the threshold where Biden dropping out would help Democrats more than if he stuck it out. Because what does it say about a man who won't protect America's symbolic landmarks, won't protect our national sovereignty and won't even protect workers meager tips from vicious IRS agents during an inflationary bubble that he caused. If you love this country, you fight to protect it. Number one, take any of the greatest fighters of all time. Trump is number one, the most resilient human being that I've ever met in my life. And what respect I keep doing this, you know, you've got money, you've got a great life, you got whatever. Why keep doing this? And the one thing that I can tell you, and this is a fact, this guy loves this country, right? And he loves all Americans, regardless of what color, religion or whatever it is, he's not a racist, he's a good human being, and he loves America and he cares about this country. Period. End of story. From waitresses to Wales, from Compton to venture capital to Lafayette Park, just yards from the White House, the anti Biden avalanche is building up speed and is taking all of us along for the ride from the bottom up to the top down. This election boils down to this reason, triumphing over fear. If enough Americans use their common sense and deliberate, and they don't allow their passions to be inflamed by demagogues, Joe Biden will be soundly defeated in November.

One week after Trump was convicted on all 34 bogus felony counts in New York's kangaroo court, the former president has now emerged more resolute than ever before. Take a look. I say it and it sounds beautiful, right? You know, my revenge will be success and I mean that. But it's awfully hard when you see what they've done. These people are so evil. And at the same time, the country can come together. People also say, can you bring the country together? And the answer is, yes, success will bring the country together because I had it together. Now, the momentum is certainly building for Donald Trump. Americans on both sides of the aisle, including commentators, even on fake news, CNN, they're speaking out against what was a gross abuse of power from both Alvin Bragg and Juan Mershon, everyone else involved in this political witch hunt. And now Trump's very own fundraising numbers are through the roof. In May, the Trump campaign and the RNC hauled in a whopping one hundred and forty one million dollars, nearly double April's numbers. The campaign says 53 million was collected in the first 24 hours after Trump's conviction. Twenty five percent of those donors, first time contributors. And while Biden only leaves home for tiny, barely attended, short, heavily scripted events, his twenty twenty four opponent, Donald Trump, just attended a UFC fight in New Jersey. He was warmly greeted. The place was jamming, packed, having fun, clapping. Very happy he was there. Anyway, this is in the Prudential Center. By the way, anybody want to see Joe Biden go to a major sporting event? Probably get booed right out of the stadium. Few Americans actually even really like Joe Biden. They know he's been a complete failure as your president. And that's why Democrats are now resorting to law fair weaponized in the DOJ. That's why they're in a full fledged panic. Trump is now calling on the Supreme Court to act before his sentencing. Otherwise, Albin Braggs political con job. All that will need to slowly work its way through a variety of liberal New York courts filled with partisan judges who ate Donald Trump. This law fair deserves to be rectified before the election. These questions must be answered. Did Alvin Bragg withhold exculpatory evidence from the indicting grand jury? Was Biden donor Judge Mershawn obligated to recuse himself? What about the family conflicts? Were Donald Trump's Sixth Amendment rights violated by not telling him the crime that he was even being charged with? We didn't know to the end of the trial if we even know at this point. Did the judge allow prejudicial information during the trial? Did New York even have jurisdiction on a federal election law? Did the judge violate not one but two Supreme Court decisions, the latest in 2020, Ramos versus Louisiana in his jury instructions that very clearly mandated unanimity of the jury on all issues. You can't have four, four and four, as we have described. This law fair blatant abuse of power, it cannot stand. And meanwhile, we are monitoring yet another legal case. This one out of Delaware, Joe Biden loves to say nobody's above the law, but he might be soon singing a very different tune now that his very own son is facing the possibility of real prison time. Now this morning, Hunter Biden's felony gun trial finally got underway. He's accused of lying on a gun application. Why? In order to purchase a firearm, despite his ongoing drug abuse, now this very same firearm in question was ultimately recovered in a dumpster near a school. It was put there by his brother's former wife, his girlfriend at the time. And unlike the law fair in New York, well, there are no cooked up charges or aggressive prosecutors campaigning on we're going to get Hunter Biden. No, to the contrary, just the opposite of what you saw in New York. This trial features actual evidence, numerous credible witnesses. And if I'd argue anything, I'd probably say the deck is stacked in his favor. He's a Biden in Delaware. Take a look. The witnesses is brutal for Hunter Biden. It includes his ex-wife. It includes the wife of the late Beau Biden with whom Hunter had a relationship after Beau's death. It includes, I believe, another even woman that has an issue with Hunter Biden here. I mean, that's tough stuff for Hunter here. Why would you want to go through that? I don't think he would. And I think everything here that's going to be presented is very damaging. All right. Despite the evidence for a while, Hunter Biden appeared above the law. This is a trial that was never supposed to happen. Remember, according to the New York Times, the DOJ's original plan was to charge Hunter with nothing, sweep all of these misdeeds under the rug. And for a while, it was all going along. According to plan, federal prosecutor David Weiss dragged on what appeared to be a fake investigation for years. Remember, he allowed the statute of limitations to run out on several serious tax crimes. Conveniently, we call them the Burisma years. He then reportedly seemed content to wrap up the probe without any charges. Then a little problem happened. Whistleblowers at the IRS, they sounded the alarm. Weiss, the DOJ, had to move to plan B. What was plan B? That was the sweetheart Weiss deal masquerading as justice. Never before in the history of the country has a deal ever been that sweet. Even the defense being asked by the judge in the courtroom, did you ever see anything like a deal like this ever before? And they had to admit, no, no felony tax charges, no jail time, a deferred meaningless gun charge and nothing else. But unfortunately for Hunter, the plea deal collapsed after the federal judge starting actually started to actually ask real questions in a statement Biden referred to his son as inspiring. By the way, I'm glad that he did get off drugs. I hope he stays off them. You don't want that for anybody. But of course we want Hunter to get a fair trial and we trust that, well, Delaware might lean his way. No American, whether your name is Biden or Trump, should have to face a partisan witch hunt. And of course no one in the Biden White House has the decency to call out the law fair against Trump. Quite the contrary. We hear they were celebrating in Biden headquarters and the White House. And by the way, why did the third highest ranking person at Joe Biden's DOJ, why would they ever leave that prestigious position to prosecute a local case against Donald Trump in New York? Clearly with a deeply involved and incompetent unpopular president, well, the Democrats, they need all the political help they can get. And this appears to be their number one strategy here with reaction. Fox News contributor, Jonathan Turley, well, I labeled a few of the areas that I've I'd identified that president Trump should appeal. I think because of the circumstances and the circumstances that I've identified, I think because of the circumstances that I've identified that president Trump should appeal, I think because of the circumstances and the circumstances that I've identified that president Trump should appeal. I think because of the circumstances and the severity of the conflicts in this case and constitutional issues that are at hand here, it should be expedited. I think the American people have a right to know if it's going to be overturned before the election. I would urge Trump's attorneys to pursue every avenue to get there. What would you advise them? Well, I think they are going to pursue every avenue. I must say I do not hold out much hope that the Supreme Court will allow them to go directly to the highest court for review. The reason is that the Supreme Court previously turned down Jack Smith, who wanted to expedite his own prosecution of Trump. And I think that some of the justices are going to want to stay within that same lane. Now that means it goes through the New York criminal system. And many of us don't have a lot of faith after this trial in that system. I think that initially, at least, he may have some tough going. But I have to tell you, I think that these errors are rather glaring and obvious. I can't imagine this verdict being sustained on review. It just may take a while. It may occur later. In fact, it may not occur until they get to the Supreme Court. But I think the Trump campaign has to assume that it will not get a final review before the election. Yeah. All right. So we have July 11 sentencing, somebody, it's a class, what, Evie felony. We had the upcharge, of course, the novel legal theory, the theory that we spoke so often about. You have somebody that's never been convicted before. Usually, I would think that somebody would be released on their own recognizance pending appeal. I suspect anything's possible with Judge Mershawn. Will he try to put him in jail and have him miss his own Republican convention? Is he going to have home confinement as part of this? How far does he go? Well, before I said in that courtroom, I would have said that all of these options were almost fanciful. I was really surprised in what I saw in that courtroom. I felt that the judge was dead wrong on a number of his decisions. He ruled very heavily towards the prosecution. Even liberal legal analysts have admitted to that. First of all, to sentence him to jail ultimately as an elderly first offender in a nonviolent crime would be just such a huge departure from the norm in Manhattan and other courts that I think that even many liberals would object, that they would say that you're adding to this notion of a special criminal system just for Trump. It's bad enough that they effectively created a crime for him, zapping a dead misdemeanor into life and coming up with this rather novel theory. In terms of any sentence being imposed before appeal, I would hope that Judge Mershawn would suspend it or allow the appeal to go forward. There are a lot of options here. If he doesn't go with a jail sentence, which I think would be absurd, there's community service, there's home confinement. In most of these cases, I think you would have a conditional dismissal, the type of go out and sin no more. You're on probation or parole and you're under court review. I think that's what most judges would view a case of this kind, but nothing that has happened in this case is how things are usually done in the criminal justice system in my view. >> Yeah.
