Yeah, this is not a surprise at all. This guy is a hero to the left because you have to take a look at all the ways he has ruled against Donald Trump and his defense and for the prosecution. Let's start at the beginning. Let's start with the fact that miraculously and defying all statistical probabilities, this judge has gotten every anti-Trump case possible. He got Allen Weisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization, Steve Bannon, and now Donald Trump. We remember he slapped an unconstitutional gag order against Donald Trump at every possible turn, ruled for the prosecution and against the defense. I would love to see the contrast of overturned objections via the defense versus the prosecution in this case. We have seen time and time again how he has weighed the scales. He wouldn't even allow the defense to call a witness that would have shown what a sham and total waste of time this entire trial is. And then just to put the final nail in the coffin for Donald Trump and to weigh the scales as much as humanly possible, he tells the jury, you don't have to be unanimous. Choose whatever you want and we'll work it out on the other end. - Right, with the second crime, right, Laura? With the second crime. - Exactly. - Yeah. - Three choices. - And if you're a person who wants Joe Biden to be assisted by this case and you dislike Donald Trump, I bet you have a big man crush on Juan Mirchon. But anybody, to your points you guys just made a second ago, who cares about the law, who actually cares about the future integrity of America, ought to look at this case and this judge and feel shame and embarrassment. 'Cause that is exactly what it is. - So Laura, how is the former president? I mean, let's just be real here. He's facing jail time right here. - A lot. - A lot of time there. So he's not able to campaign right now. He's stuck in the courthouse. We could get averted soon. How's the morale of him? - He's remarkable. And Lawrence, you know this. You guys have seen him day in and day out, on the way into that courtroom and leaving that courtroom, talking to the press every day, saying whatever he can, of course, with this crazy gag order. I've never seen a person with the focus of Donald Trump. I've never seen someone who can be facing so much, who can really not just take it and still remain standing, but still be fighting. Not only has he gone in that courtroom every day and had to sit there and listen to lie after lie, knowing what they are trying to do to him, knowing this is all about politics and has nothing to do with justice or actually prosecuting a crime. But then he leaves the courthouse and he goes to a bodega in Harlem. He delivers pizzas to the FDNY firefighters. He holds a rally 25,000 people strong in the deep blue Bronx of New York. And that tells you what you need to know about this man. He's a fighter, no matter what they throw against him, he will never back down. And this, just like everything else, I believe will boomerang and only help him in the end. - I know you got all these different flow charts of what if he's convicted, what if he's acquitted, what if he gets home confinement? How detailed are the plans for the campaign judging on these scenarios that are possible at some time we believe this week when Alberta comes down? - Yeah, and you have to think about that. Of course, this is something that has been the goal. They wanted him locked in the courtroom and not out on the campaign trail. Why not lock him in his home so he can't go out and campaign as well? I think it makes it very obvious that this is truly about election interference and nothing else at the end of the day. But we'll turn lemons into lemonade like Donald Trump continues to do at every single turn. We will have him doing virtual rallies and campaign events if that is the case. And we'll have to play the hand that we're dealt. Everything has been stacked against him from the day he came down the Golden Escalator in Trump Tower in 2015 and decided to run for president as a Republican. It continues to be stacked against him today. And despite all of it, he always ends up on top and this will be no different. - All right. Laura, thank you very much. We are just 202 days away until an inflection point for this country, probably the most pivotal election in our lifetime. Every campaign stop is crucial. Donald Trump was not able to campaign today at all. Why? He was stuck in a dreary New York City courtroom and will be stuck in that very same courtroom almost every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for the foreseeable future, likely well over a month. Donald Trump was told that he will go straight to jail and not collect $200 if he's not in court every single day. And Joe Biden has the swing state playing field all to himself with only 202 days until election day. And the media mob, they are literally, well, elated. One fake new CNN host celebrating with a banner that read, quote, Biden hits the trail while Trump sits in court. No wonder so few people watch fake new CNN. And they're at the conspiracy theory channel, MSDNC. They are working extra, extra hard this week. They're fairy tales, of course, about Russia, Russia. Russia never came true, but they will never miss an opportunity every second minute hour, every day, every week, every month, every year to bash Donald Trump. And they are not alone. Take a look. -Donald Trump is in the courthouse right now. I mean, history has begun. -And the Biden campaign says that while Trump is in court, Biden is, quote, running the country. -The judge is in a tough spot here. No judge wants to be that, you know, person that is the one to throw former President Trump in jail for criminal contempt. -What do Democrats do? How do his opponents try to utilize this time? -Well, Joe, the split screen will be Donald Trump in a courtroom, Joe Biden on a campaign trail. So I think that's a very important juxtaposition. -Why is it that it's only coming to trial now? It turns out that is kind of a funny story, funny in a bad way. -Oh, this is a legal nerd Super Bowl, right? Like, I'm kind of excited about this. -That's the part I do. -That's exciting to someone like me. -They're downright kitty, make no mistake. This is no ordinary trial. This is a taxpayer-funded, media-promoted, political smear campaign against Donald Trump and miraculously and perfectly timed just for the presidential election. Now, the prosecutor Alvin Bragg, he hates Donald Trump. He ran on a hate-Trump campaign. He hates him for political reasons. The judge, Juan Merchon, is his name. He's a Democrat. Guess who he donated to in 2020? Joe Biden, and the jury pool is comprised of Americans living in deep blue New York City. Only 12% of the electorate there voted for Trump. The alleged crime, it's hard to describe. They haven't really told us yet. It is a misdemeanor document-label allegation that dates back eight years. By the way, just for the record, well past the statute of limitations that Alvin Bragg mysteriously brought back to life by turning it into a felony on federal election law, but none of that really matters, does it? This is not about justice. It's not about keeping Americans safe. You really think this is a threat to any American? In New York City, let's see, you have violent criminals, you have gang members, you have drug dealers, you have sex offenders, you have cops being beaten up by the criminals, and little old ladies going to church getting the crap beat out of them, and they escape Alvin Bragg's very lax prosecution every single day. But with Donald Trump, well Bragg who reduced 60% of all felonies to misdemeanors, well he twisted the law into a pretzel, bending over backwards, spending millions of your dollars to bring a case that frankly never should have been brought. For Democrats, the mob and the media, it is worth every penny, even sacrificing the rule of law and our great constitutional republic. It removes Donald Trump from the campaign trail at the height of an election. The trial also gives the left yet another opportunity to trash Donald Trump in public.

Thank you very much. This is a trial that should have never been brought. It's a trial that is being looked upon, looked at all over the world, they're calling. They're looking at it and analyzing it. Every legal pundit, every legal scholar said this trial is a disgrace. We have a Trump-hating judge. We have a judge who should be on this case. He's totally conflicted, but this is a trial that should never happen. It should have been thrown out a long time ago. If you look at Jonathan Turner, Andy McCarthy, all great legal scholars, there's not one that we've been able to find that said this should be a trial. I called a, I was paying a lawyer and marked it down as a legal expense, some accountant. I didn't know. Marked it down as a legal expense. That's exactly what it was and you've been indicted over that. I should be right now in Pennsylvania, in Florida, in many other states, North Carolina, Georgia, campaigning. This is all coming from the Biden White House because the guy can't put two sentences together. He can't campaign. He's using this in order to try and win an election and it's not working that way. It's working the opposite way. So check it out, legal expense. It's called legal expense. That's what you're supposed to call it. Nobody has ever seen it. Nobody has ever seen anything like it.
