I am pleased to nominate Phil Axt to the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota. Phil is the Solicitor General of North Dakota, and has litigated numerous important cases for the State, including challenges to harmful Biden Administration policies. Before becoming a lawyer, Phil attended the U.S. Military Academy, and served our Country admirably, including deployments to Afghanistan. He is a former Law Clerk to Judge Jennifer Elrod of the Fifth Circuit, and Graduate of Yale Law School. I am pleased to nominate Robert (Bobby) Long to serve as Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Bobby is currently a Judge on Florida’s First District Court of Appeal. A longtime member of the Navy JAG Corps, Bobby was previously a Trial Judge on Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit Court and, prior to that, General Counsel of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, where he was a Police Officer before becoming a lawyer. Bobby received his Law Degree from the University of Florida College of Law, and his Undergraduate Degree from Florida State University. During his time as a Federal District Court Judge, Daniel has issued courageous decisions, and blocked illegal Federal Government actions under the previous Administration. Daniel received his Undergraduate and Law Degrees from the University of North Dakota and, before becoming a Judge, was an incredible attorney, and Law Clerk to Chief Justice Gerald W.
