- What if I told you there is a new global alignment? And I want you to hear me out, okay? Just hear me out first. Let's do the Greenland component. Greenland has been asking Denmark for help securing itself against Russia and China for over 20 years. They haven't done anything, nor has anyone from any side of the EU on the NATO side. So case in point, Germany only sent like 14, I think it was literally 14 people when Trump threatened to invade. So you see the commitment from the EU. America though has had a treaty post World War II to put bases basically anywhere they want, but we're not gonna overly invest if it's not US soil. But what if we were to acquire it? This would increase American soil by over 20% and enter what we would then call NORCOM, or Northern Command, where our radar could actually detect an ICBM from Russia or China 20 minutes earlier than it does now because the path would be over the North Pole. This has also serious global impacts to our foes. We'll do China first. China owns 80 to 85% of the global EV battery industry and produces items for our EVs here in America at a ratio of six to one that we do internally. If America had access to Greenland, we could break that dependency within a year. We also would be able to produce most of our own chips too, just from the rare earth minerals that are in Greenland. This would de-incentivize China from taking Taiwan because that's really the only reason they want it for the semiconductor market, which would hinder America if China controlled that, all right? Stay with me here. Also, our acquisition that could break China's Northern Silk Road and secure a Northern shipping channel, cutting off trade routes for China and Russia, but also giving us more secure options that could be taxed for other nations, i.e. making our shipping expenses go down dramatically. This would essentially turn Greenland into America's 12th carrier battle group as well. You can't sink it either. And then in its current proposal, as the annex proposal stands, Trump offered every person in Greenland 100 grand. That would cost us only 57,000 people. It costs us $5.7 billion. Compare that to the over $8 billion price tag for a new aircraft carrier. Don't even get me started on the rest of the fleet. See, Trump's not shooting from the hip here. This would allow America to launch a fighter jet from American soil that could touch Beijing and Moscow, which Moscow along with China has been looking to take Greenland for a while now for the same reasons, 'cause there's 50 billion barrels of oil just in offshore shallow water wells in and around Greenland, which if America took control of, we could theoretically change the impact of OPEC globally. Now, if we didn't need China for anything, and Russia needed to come to the U.S. for oil, 'cause we were out producing OPEC, or needed to beg us for access to the Northern shipping routes, suddenly, would we all become friends? They need us. Is Trump rebalancing global power with his Greenland move? Look, NATO was originally based on the opposition to fascism and communism. Now, the U.K. puts people in jail for Facebook posts. They have socialist governments and have imported enough people to make them anti-American. We don't share the EU's values anymore. What if I told you that America and Russia had more in common than America and the EU? And before you freak out and say that I'm pro-Putin, listen to me, okay, shut up. Putin is the worst, okay? I'm talking about the Russian people, same demographic, generally same religious base, and given the opportunity, would probably side with American influence over Putin's de facto dictatorship. Remember, they were our ally against Nazi Germany not too long ago. But if Putin knew he couldn't survive our influence, I'd be willing to bet he would buckle. Europe and Brazil, after they just saw us kidnap their neighbor's leader, Saudi Arabia would come to heel if we didn't need their oil from OPEC. China would be forced to go along with it after losing their northern mobility and shipping routes, and we wouldn't need their batteries. They'd be ostracized on a global trade route, 'cause remember, Trump has exerted our power on the Panama Canal, so they basically can't get into any other ocean. And Europe, they gave up all their power plants on the Green New Deal aspirations. They imported foreigners, bankrupted themselves with social programs, and have been crushing their farms to the point that they can't even grow their own food anymore. So why do we need them anyway? They contribute basically nothing. 14 troops to it? Thanks, Germany. America's essentially 70% of NATO anyway. Democrats think Trump is just like randomly doing stuff 'cause he's crazy. No, he's actually like 17 steps ahead, and by the time the rest of the world realize it, they're too far behind to do anything about it.

Well, I'm delighted to be here with some of the truly great sports legends of all time as we formally announce the newest members of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. We have an opportunity to literally change the fabric of kids' lives, and our first initiative is to bring back the President's fitness test. I think the time is so important. Obesity is the highest it's ever been. Mental health, as we all know, the need ought to be tackled. Make our youth healthy, help get them engaged in sports, and let them learn what it takes to be successful in life. Kids are healthier, they're happier, they do better when they're out there, they're being active, they're playing in sports, they're hanging out with their friends. Re-instill that spirit of competition, and that spirit and that commitment to nutrition and physical fitness, and I'm so grateful to President Trump for your leadership and bring this back for our country. ♪♪♪

And we take a historic step toward justice for every family touched by the fentanyl scourge as we sign the Halt Fentanyl Act into Law. Good job. Good job. Thank you very much.

CNBC's Rick Santelli: "The income numbers, really, for the first four months of year — they're stellar ... This administration is criticized for just about everything under the sun ... Why don't we give credit where credit is due? Income really shooting up."
Video transcript
Got some important numbers at the CME in Chicago Rick. They should be hitting a second right now In fact, yes, yes, they're hitting the wires as we speak These are of course personal income and spending for the month of April. We're also getting inventories Which are hitting the wire first wholesale inventories unchanged We're expecting up 4/10 retail inventories come in as expected down 1/10 of a percent and Personal income is up 8/10 up 8/10 of a percent that is almost triple the expectations and it Underscores we could talk about a lot of issues But when you look at income for the first four months of the year, they're powerful numbers, Joe Up 6/10 in January up 7/10 in February up a half and 1% last month up 8/10 this month This is a great four-month start to any year now with the income shooting up and by the way 8/10 is the strongest income month-over-month jump since May of 21 when it was 1.9 if we look at spending comes in exactly as expected up 2/10 This follows an up 7/10 number, which was the best since December of last year now Let's look at real spending adjusted for inflation comes in a little better at 1/10 But well below last month's up 7/10, which was the best since January of 23 if we look at the Inflation numbers and here we go on a month-over-month basis for PCE up 1/10 as Expected on a year-over-year PCE up 2.1 That's 1/10 lighter than we were expecting 2.1 equals SEPA 24 to find the lower one You're back to February of 21 now Let's look at the core numbers on a month-over-month basis up 1/10 exactly as Expected and if we look at a year-over-year perspective 2.5 exactly as expected a tenth lower than 2.6 last month, which then was revised to 2.7 Which makes us down 2/10 of a percent 2.5 Well the last time we were here if I have to go back Wow, it's been a while since 2.5 I would say that you're going back to the spring of 21 now We talked about inventories. The last number is of course a very important number to this administration This is the trade balance, which is a deficit expecting minus hundred forty three billion Wow, it comes in much much smaller minus eighty seven billion and now this follows this follows a 163 that gets converted to a hundred and sixty two billion with a minus sign the worst since record-keeping 1989 then we cut it in half to eighty seven point six 87.6 would be the lightest and I have to really go back 87.6 would be the lightest since Wow September of 23 sepp of 23 and this really does underscore how the movement of goods and services has really changed Due to a variety of tariff related issues now after all that where the markets well up a little bit We're at 441. We're now at 443 in a tenant by the way It's the last week at 451 a two-year is it 393 it was at 392 before the number down seven on the week and I will just point out one more thing both Maturities before the number were on pace for the lowest yield closes in three weeks But we see that rates have moved up just a smidge Joe back to you and if I were If I were the White House Rick, I'd be whether they can take credit for everything or not I'd be growing about all those numbers Every everyone it was there a single one that the income the income numbers really for the first four months of the year They're stellar. They're really stellar I mean I could go back and look at the first four months of many different years Really very strong numbers and you're right. This administration is criticized for just about everything under the Sun I've never ever in my lifetime Had glimpses into the politics of an administration in the form of transparency like this one Why don't we be you know give credit where credit is due? I also income really shooting okay I also thought everybody was gonna get one last Order of Imports that we're gonna be tariffed and they were loading up on things How the hell did that how did they how they already fix the trade or not fix it but to cut it in half? That's crazy. Yeah, so there wasn't a lot of front loading of things that they needed before the tariffs hit Yeah, I'll tell you what it really does calling the question some of the conventional wisdom And you know it's gonna be interesting to see what happens next month when we get this number or we see some of the other Numbers like current account see how they fared because I don't know I've been watching these numbers a long time I don't think I've ever seen the trade deficit cut in half of one month It's crazy um I mean you're gonna hear Trump say it's it's remember Biden used to say that it's working He used to say that that weird voice, but I can't hear you Joe. It's working Right come on man

Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle. The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn’t Sleepy Joe Biden demand Equalization, in that this War is far more important to Europe than it is to us — We have a big, beautiful Ocean as separation. On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is “MISSING.” He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden “like a fiddle.” A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left. In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going. I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues…..

But think of it, a modestly successful comedian, President Zelensky talked the United States of America into spending $350 billion to go into a war that basically couldn't be won, that never had to start and never would have started if I was president. Not even a chance. And it didn't start for four years. Never would have started. But a war that he, without the US and Trump, will never be able to settle. They'll never settle that war without our involvement. That's why they did such a great job this weekend. That's why Saudi Arabia did such a great job this weekend in hosting. The United States has spent $200 billion more than Europe, and Europe's money is guaranteed. They get their money back. It's a form of a loan. Nobody knows that. I know that. I said, "Why isn't somebody saying, "you know, we do it the same way "and we spent much more money? "We have to equalize." But while the United States gets nothing back, so they get their money back. It's a loan. We just give our money. And we had a deal based on rare earth and things, but they broke that deal. But they broke it two days ago. We had a deal because I said, "We're spending $350 billion." And Europe gets their money back in the form of a loan, and we don't. We're just giving the money hand over fist. That's the Biden administration for you. But they're no longer dealing with the same United States as they were dealing with a few months ago. Why didn't Crooked Joe Biden demand equalization? And that this war is far more important to Europe than it is to us, and that there's a very big, beautiful ocean of separation. This is, you know, we're helping Europe. We're trying to help Europe. On top of this, Zelensky admits that half of the money that we sent them is missing. They don't know where the money is. He said, "Well, we don't know where half of it is." That's great, wonderful. He refuses to have elections. It's low in the real Ukrainian polls. I mean, how can you be high? Every city is being demolished. It's hard to be high. Somebody said, "Oh, no, his polls are good. Give me a break." Every city is being demolished. They look like a demolition site, every single one of them. And the only thing he was really good at was playing Joe Biden like a fiddle. He played him like a fiddle. That's an expression we use, yes, sir, to say that he's pretty easy, pretty easy. A dictator without elections. Zelensky better move faster. He's not going to have a country left. Gotta move, gotta move fast, 'cause that war's going in the wrong direction. In the meantime, we're successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia. Something all admit that only Trump is gonna be able to do in the Trump administration. We're gonna be able to do it. I think Putin even admitted that Biden never tried. Europe has failed to bring peace, and Zelensky probably wants to, maybe wants to keep the gravy train going. I don't know what's the problem, but he hasn't been able. He's very upset that he wasn't invited. He could've come if he wanted to, but that he wasn't invited to Saudi Arabia. But he's been working for three years. There's never been even meetings or phone calls to stop this war. It's a horrible thing. I figure Russia's lost 900,000 soldiers. I think that Ukraine's lost probably 700,000. And it's a terrible thing. You'll see body parts, bodies and body parts all over the field, all over. We see 'em through, very accurately, through satellites. I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job. His country is shattered, and millions and millions of people have unnecessarily died. And you can't bring a war to an end if you don't talk to both sides. You gotta talk, they haven't been talking for three years. So we hope to see a ceasefire soon and to reestablish stability in Europe and the Middle East. (audience applauding)

This morning I ordered precision Military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia. These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians. Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did! The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that “WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!”

the president did there from the White House? Well it was pretty rich, because this case would have never got to the Supreme Court, had his own Department of Justice not appointed a special counsel that had a history of bias, and went after the leading presidential opposition candidate to the president. And it wouldn't have come to the Supreme Court had Fannie Willis not met with a White House Council to coordinate a defense strategy in Georgia, a prosecution strategy in Georgia, and it wouldn't have happened if the third highest ranking federal attorney in Merrick Garland's DOJ had not suddenly appeared at Alvin Bragg's prosecution. And so this was in response to the weaponization of the DOJ by none other than Joe Biden. Second, it's very ironic, Jason, because you see the special counsel, Robert Herr, said that Joe Biden himself, while he was president, faced criminal liability. He had classified files, which is a felony to be in his possession. He didn't notify anybody that he had them until he selected the special counsel to go after Donald Trump. And then he had a speechwriter that had no security clearance that admittedly was looking at those files in the presence of Joe Biden. The only reason he wasn't prosecuted was Robert Herr determined that he was too enfeebled and would win the sympathy of a jury. And finally, they had been going after the Supreme Court. Chuck Schumer went out to the doors of the Supreme Court and called out by name Justice Gorsuch and Kavanaugh and said, you're going to reap the whirlwind. You don't know what's going to hit you. And then when protesters a year later started showing up, including a potential assassin at the homes of the justices, Merrick Garland didn't enforce the law, which was a felony to do that for political purposes to influence the Supreme Court decision. So this was this was very tragic. What Joe Biden just did, it was ironic, it was wrong, and it was highly partisan and it's dangerous. I think I would agree with all of that. It is tragic because we need a Supreme Court with its independence and the Democrats are doing everything they can to make them dependent on whatever the political whim of the party in power is. And it's just disgusting, but Democrats have run out of things to run. They can't run on the economy. They can't run on the border. They can't run on the protecting us overseas and all these wars that are going on. The mental and physical demise of Joe Biden is on display. So they're going to pick, I guess, the Supreme Court, but a six to three ruling in this particular case is pretty convincing, six to three. Yeah. Well, especially when you've seen what they've done to Donald Trump and what they do to him again when he's probably going to be elected. And again, the irony is that Joe Biden violated his oath of office when he destroyed the southern border and illegal allowed 11 million, 10 million people illegally to enter the United States. There's a lot of people who felt that that was a violation of the oath of office. As I said earlier, he broke the law when he had in his possession as president, classified file.
