A stranger's crowd report, reposted at the end of rally day

What the timing points to

Two days earlier, on October 18, a Washington Post-ABC-Ipsos poll put his approval at 33%, a record low, and the nationwide "No Kings" rallies on October 17 drew large crowds against him. A late-night reposting of "absolutely wild crowd" and "thousands... lined up for miles" fits supply-seeking set against that injury. Arena noise and roadside crowds stand in for the approval that the poll denies, the old move of treating rally turnout as the real measure of public feeling. The post does not mention the poll, so the link is an inference from the sequence, with medium confidence. The grandiose state here is calm. Nothing in it attacks anyone. The only defense visible is selective attention: he keeps the friendly measure of support and leaves the hostile one unaddressed. That is too mild to count as denial in the clinical sense.
