A loyalty chart posted between Alaska grievances

The post is a single image with no caption. It shows two mock cable-news panels headed "MAGA GOP ON TRUMP" and "MAGA GOP VOTING PATTERNS", with the figures "TRUMP 99%" for the 2024 vote against Harris, "98%" for 2026 approval, and "GOP 98%" for a "SEPT 2026 Cong Vote", all credited to "KFF AND FOX NEWS". The description does not settle whether this is a real broadcast frame or a supporter-made mock-up, so the reading below does not depend on which.

What the chart claims, and what its sample already decides

The figures describe a subgroup defined by its loyalty to him. A respondent who calls themselves "MAGA GOP" and does not approve of Trump is close to a contradiction in terms, so 98% approval inside that group says little about his standing with Republicans overall, and nothing about the electorate. The chart's real assertion sits in the bottom panel: the 99% who backed him in 2024 say they will back GOP congressional candidates at 98%. Three weeks before the November 3 midterms, that is an argument about transfer. It tells Republican candidates that his voters will turn out for them, and tells his voters that they already are.

Because the numbers sit inside the image and he added no words, they are not treated as his own factual assertions here. Two points belong in the prose instead. A "MAGA GOP" crosstab exists in some KFF and Fox polling, so figures in this range are plausible for that slice. And the panel design, with its star borders and "SOURCE" line, borrows the authority of a news graphic, which turns an in-group crosstab into what looks like a headline.

Why post it today

The same day's feed runs hot: Letitia James is "a DIRTY AND DISGUSTING COP", Dave Bronson "begged me for my support" before "quickly jumped back in", and the Alaska governor's race has "three Republicans... running against one weak, Radical Left Dumocrat." The Alaska posts carry a worry the chart answers. Divided Republican ballots and candidates who drift from him are the threat, and the image says the base is unified and his. Read that way, the trigger is supply-seeking with a campaign purpose: a show of near-unanimous approval, timed to a rally trip. Nothing in the image reacts to a specific criticism, so the narcissistic-injury reading has no direct evidence behind it, though a general backdrop of midterm anxiety is consistent with the timing (medium confidence).

Psychologically the post is grandiose in the self-image it projects and calm in tone. It contains no enemy, so the projection and devaluation seen in the James and El-Sayed posts the same day do not show up here. The defense on display is selective attention: a measure is picked whose answer is fixed in advance, and the near-unanimity is presented as a referendum. That is rationalization at most. It reshapes how reality is framed, but no single figure in the image is shown to be false.

Rhetoric and archetype

The devices are borrowed authority (a news-style graphic and two named pollsters), a bandwagon appeal ("99%", "98%"), and an implied in-group test: being MAGA GOP is defined by approving of him and voting for his party, and the chart reports that the test is passed. This fits the King archetype, where the court shows its loyalty, more than the Warrior figure in the surrounding posts. On the order/chaos axis it is order consolidation. Hierarchy is affirmed, with Trump at the top and the party's congressional fortunes shown as flowing from him (the elephant logo stands in for his photograph in the last column).

The image carries no target, no dehumanizing language and no call to act beyond the implied one to vote. Its mobilization is electoral.

Who chose the image

The timestamp is 6:51 PM Eastern, or 2:51 PM Alaska time. The previous post says he was "Heading to Alaska", so he was most likely on Air Force One or near landing. That is daytime working hours. A ready-made graphic posted with no caption between longer first-person posts fits staff placing campaign material, though he has posted uncaptioned charts himself. Since he wrote none of the image, the question is only who picked it, and the timing leans toward an aide.
