A greeting delivered by a giant

The post carries no words of his own. A banner reads "Hello, Greenland!" The vision description says the fingers "appear to hold or peel back the mountain ridge like a sheet, as if lifting the landscape toward his mouth." That is one literal detail from an imperfect description, so the reading below doesn't depend on it. The composition holds up without it: a head as large as the sky, looking down on a small inhabited town, under a friendly-sounding salutation.

So the behavior under analysis is choosing to publish an image of himself at a scale that dwarfs another country's territory. "Hello" is how you greet a place you plan to show up in, and the picture shows the greeter towering over the people being greeted. The joke and the claim are the same picture. The cheerful banner keeps a deniable layer of humor over the size relation it draws, and that ambiguity is how the image works.

How the face is drawn

The described features ("orange-toned skin, half-lidded eyes, downturned mouth") match how critical and satirical memes usually draw him, not how campaign graphics flatter him.
