I am thrilled to welcome all of you to the White House as we officially celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! Today, we honor the countless Hispanic American Patriots throughout our history who have been among our greatest champions for Faith, Family, and our God-Given Freedoms.
With the help of many friends in this room, two years ago, we won more votes from Hispanic Americans than any Republican presidential candidate in HISTORY. And I will never, ever forget your incredible support.
In honor of the tremendous faith represented in this community, I want to start by asking two people who have been with me since the beginning, Pastors Pasqual and Norma Urrabazo from Nevada to come lead us in prayer.
Thank you both. We are also honored to be joined on this occasion by the highest-ranking Hispanic American in the history of our country, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, along with his wife Jeanette Rubio. I also want to recognize Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy, along with U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Leah Campos, and many wonderful ambassadors to the United States from Latin America. Thanks as well to former president of Goya Foods Bob Unanue, former Treasurer of the United States Jovita Carranza, my friend Mercedes Schlapp, and Director of the White House Faith Office, Jenny Korn.
Throughout 250 glorious years of American Freedom, Hispanic Americans have built incredible businesses, founded great churches, pioneered new industries, strengthened our communities, served our nation in uniform, and helped expand the American Dream for all of our citizens. And under the Trump Administration, that American Dream is BACK—bigger and better than ever before.
Earlier this month, it was announced that real median household income is at the highest level EVER RECORDED. The poverty rate just reached an ALL-TIME LOW—and the Hispanic American poverty rate is at the lowest level in HISTORY.
Since I took office, we have created more than 1 million new private sector jobs—and more Americans are working today than EVER BEFORE. Employment for Hispanic Americans is expanding rapidly— the number of Hispanics in high tech roles has increased by nearly 30 percent under my administration.
Since the election, the U.S. stock markets have set 80 all-time record highs. In 4 long years of the Sleepy Joe Biden administration, they got less than $1 trillion dollars in

This band of Communists wants to confiscate your wealth, tax your Social Security, abolish No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime, De-fund the Police, have men playing in women's sports, bring back the transgender mutilation of your children, and set loose criminals to rob, rape, and kill.
Some of you in this very room are witnesses to the worst horrors of Marxism, communism, and socialism—from Cuba to Venezuela to Nicaragua—and you know that we must NEVER allow Communism to come to America. Here today is Alex Campos—when he was just a boy, Alex's father was imprisoned by the vile Communist regime in Cuba. It took years before his father was released, and Alex and his family escaped that Communist oppression. Today, he is a successful CEO of a big company, Vensure Employer Solutions, living the American Dream. Alex, please come briefly share your story.
