Midnight in New York, UNGA week

The timestamp is 04:04 UTC, which is 12:04 a.m. Eastern. Trump was in New York for the UN General Assembly — the post immediately preceding this one in the record places him there ("ranting and raving like Lunatics, in the Press Area, at the United Nations"). So this is a man awake just past midnight during the most heavily scheduled week of his diplomatic calendar, scrolling a friendly aggregator and pasting what he finds.

That is the strongest evidence for his own hand. The text itself carries none: a copied headline and a URL, with nothing added. The omission that matters is the sign-off — his other posts from the same 24 hours close with "President DONALD J. TRUMP" or "President DJT," and this one closes with nothing, which is the single detail that keeps staff authorship on the table. The headline's clean spelling belongs to Newsmax's copy desk, not to him, so the usual error-based tells are unavailable in either direction. What the poll actually said, and when

The Newsmax piece is dated September 17. On that date the reading was real: a survey showed the pro-Netanyahu bloc edging ahead of Gadi Eisenkot's opposition, though Likud itself slipped as a party. By the time the link was posted, six days later, a Channel 12 poll had the Eisenkot bloc back in front, 54 seats to 50, and none of the week's four surveys put either camp at the 61 needed to govern. The word doing the work is "Latest." It was not.

Whether that staleness is deliberate or simply the accident of what surfaced in a midnight feed cannot be separated from a single share. The pattern it sits in is legible enough: an American aggregator rather than an Israeli outlet, and the one week-old reading that runs the direction he wants, circulated while fresher numbers ran the other way.

The interest being served

Netanyahu's political survival and Trump's own record are welded together — the Gaza arrangement, the Iran strikes, the claim of having delivered a settlement no predecessor could. A poll showing Netanyahu's coalition ahead is a poll showing that Trump backed the winner.
