An election-night victory card for an endorsed candidate

The past week did bring bad news for him: the Supreme Court refused to rehear the E. Jean Carroll case on August 17, and families of the USS Abraham Lincoln crew criticized him. But nothing on the card points back to either story, so any link to them would be guesswork.

The rhetoric is plain campaign branding: exclamation points, "WINS!", and a row of five stars. The photos differ in tone. Trump has a stern expression and Donalds is smiling. That comes from how the stock photos were chosen, and the vision description is too literal to build a reading on. Arguably the post also plays to the story that Trump's party can win with Black candidates, but nothing on the card says so, and the case for that reading is weak.

The attribution concerns who chose to post the card, not who wrote it, and the evidence does not settle that either way.
