I mean people are fascinated by AI They're also kind of afraid of AI and and they worry that the data centers might be in their backyard But even worse they might end up in China's backyard That's exactly right trace that is the nightmare scenario and that's what president Trump and let's say honestly Republicans at this point unlike their counterparts actually understand there is a global AI race going on right now Everybody knows that as the president said we cannot avoid but being in this race Competing in this race and making sure that America continues to be the leading technological and military power worldwide It's the only option that we have with the world that has an ever-changing landscape every single day the constant threats that both our country And our president has to face and knowing that China is working over time not just to compete globally But to compete directly with the United States of America You either want to win or you want to lose and thank God our current president wants to keep us on top Yeah, I think what I think he's right the the show really is that good I'm kidding the the whole idea behind the economy here is it's gonna be a struggle because the prices are still kind of high Caroline Yeah, but we talk about you know, look where we are We're in Blue State, California, right and we're in this port of San Pedro So the oil that comes to this port the second it comes off the ships and into the trains before it ever goes into Americans cars in California what happens Gavin Newsom slaps a $2 tax on it So while the rest of the country gets to enjoy low or high gas prices They are always high here in California has Gavin Newsom ever offered to temporarily lift that tax to permanently lift that tax No, what about when the president passed no tax on tips Gavin Newsom said nope not gonna do that here So it's the blue straights blue states that are intentionally obstructing a lot of what the president's trying to do Katie Well, I want to go back to China for a second because no other president has faced China like President Trump has and when he said About Venezuela earlier what he said about Iran China is the purchaser of 90% of their oil comes from Iran and with the AI race Independent energy president Trump knows that the prosperity and sovereignty of the United States is independent energy and he has done that for us And that is for our children our grandchildren and the heritage of future generations and also Greenland trace and so this is his multifaceted approach with China and he gets it and I'm so grateful as Elizabeth Pipko said We have a president who wants and cares about an energy in the AI race
