Post from Truth Social

The post carries no words of his own — a meme, captioned "She (?) is OBSESSED!", showing a Rosie O'Donnell-like figure with a Trump portrait floating in her thoughts across four mundane scenes (bed, library, sink, car). The behavior under analysis is the choice to publish it, not any text.

Casting a longtime critic as fixated on him serves a grandiose self-narrative: even in his adversary's private, unguarded moments — reading, washing dishes, driving — he is present. That inversion also does the work of projection: the Trump–O'Donnell feud is one he has returned to repeatedly across two decades, and the meme relocates that fixation onto her rather than acknowledging it as mutual or self-originated. The four-panel repetition of the same joke functions as devaluation by ridicule rather than argument — there's no claim to rebut, just an image built to shrink her to a punchline.

Rhetorically this is ad hominem in image form: mockery of the person, not engagement with anything she has said or done recently. There's no dehumanizing language, no naming of a broader grievance beyond an old personal rivalry, and no implied action against her — the archetypal move is closer to court-jester baiting than warrior-versus-threat.

Posted at 4:23pm Eastern (Trump was in Washington following the Wisconsin farm visit the day prior), this falls in his ordinary daytime posting window rather than the late-night stretches that more reliably mark his own hand. With no text to weigh for phrasing or habits, the attribution question here is only which clip someone chose to post, not who wrote anything — and the timing alone doesn't settle even that.
