An aerial photograph of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., looking from the Lincoln Memorial (foreground) up the Reflecting Pool toward the Washington Monument obelisk in the distance. The Reflecting Pool water is rendered an intensely saturated, almost electric royal-blue color, far brighter/more vivid than the natural greenish-gray tone the pool normally has, suggesting the color has been digitally enhanced or altered. Green trees line both sides of the pool, small groups of people are visible near the Lincoln Memorial steps and along the walkways, and the Washington skyline and clear blue sky are visible in the background.
