Post from Truth Social

The image is stock military iconography — a B-2 shown mid-flight under the italic caption "Peace through strength" — published with no words of his own, three days after Trump's Doral press conference defending the Iran campaign against questions about the Minab girls' school strike. Nothing in the post addresses the casualty reporting or the Pentagon probe that, by March 11, had pointed to a US missile rather than an Iranian one. Letting the aircraft carry the message instead of answering the specific question is itself the move: the slogan inverts "peace" into a claim that overwhelming force is what produces it, a frame that legitimizes the ongoing war rather than responding to a named critic.

Read against that week's timeline, the selection functions closer to reassurance than to injury response — there's no individual target for rage to land on, and the pairing works as a rationalization: recasting a war under scrutiny for civilian deaths as a peace-seeking enterprise ("Peace through strength" rather than "war continues"). Archetypally this is the Warrior/King register he leaned on across the week's press conferences — restoring order through demonstrated force, with the human cost of the Minab strike left outside the frame entirely.

Authorship rests on timing alone, since there is no text to read for style. Posted 2026-03-14 00:24 UTC — roughly 8:24 PM Eastern the prior evening if he was still at Mar-a-Lago/Doral — falls outside both the late-night window most associated with his own posting and the daytime window typical of staff-scheduled content. Absent any idiosyncratic marker to anchor a judgment either way, this reads as a plausible staff-curated message-discipline post as easily as a personal scroll-and-share; confidence on who selected it is low.
