America, I'm Mark Levin and this is Life, Liberty and Levin Saturday. Well, last week this time there was an assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. It was horrific and I must say shocking because literally 30-40 minutes before he went on that stage he called me. He was in a great mood. He was cracking jokes. We were talking about variety of things and he said, "You know, Mark, you must mean a lot to me. There's 50,000 people out there waiting and I'm talking to you." And it occurs to me, and I've thought about this, maybe we should have talked a little bit longer, but that's the way it went. And by this much, by this much, President Trump would not be with us. It's really hard to stomach when you think about it. You know ladies and gentlemen, there's an issue I've been talking about on this network, on radio, on Blaze. It's called dehumanization. I've actually written about it in two books. What is dehumanization? Well, what's been taking place against Donald Trump is dehumanization. What am I talking about? The systematic, relentless, pervasive media, Democrat Party, dehumanization. That is, treating somebody like they're a non-human, treating somebody like they don't deserve to be treated with any form of respect whatsoever. They've done this repeatedly to many people. In fact, Joe Biden has led the way for his entire career. Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, the Democrat Party, Alito, Kavanaugh, Netanyahu, but the worst of it has been saved for Donald Trump. Endless, relentless, repetitive. Dehumanization encourages violence. Why else use it? It involves the use of language, controlling language, psychological warfare, repetition, thought control. And this is something that Saul Linsky in Rules for Radicals talks about. Linsky was a Leninist. And very interestingly, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were big Alinskyites through much of their lives. Thirteenth rule of Linsky's rules, pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. These are totalitarian tactics. They are extraordinarily dangerous. Extraordinarily dangerous, the dehumanization of Donald Trump, the lawfare. Even the statements in the indictments are atypical, over the top. But, ladies and gentlemen, this is something we've been talking about here for some time. I want to remind you and then I want to address it more fully. This is here on Fox, April 1st, 2023. Go. The media Democrats and the Democrat Party and so forth, they've attempted to turn Donald Trump into a non-human. In fact, they've attempted to turn you into non-humans. You hear it all the time. You and I are responsible for insurrections. You and I are responsible for racism in a white dominant society. You and I just won't relent to accepting redistribution of wealth, massive increases in taxes, a bloated centralized government, equity over equality, transgendering our children, critical race theory. We just are standing in the way of progress and Donald Trump is standing in the way of progress too. And rather than the normal normal American behavior, which is the debate challenge, that's not what Joe Biden and the Democrats do. Now look, I'm not talking about want-offs or somebody making a statement they shouldn't have made. I'm talking about a campaign to destroy the humanity of an individual. And this is what the Democrat Party has become. This is what Joe Biden has always done. I'm not making a specific connection between the assassination attempt one week ago today and this dehumanization campaign, but I am saying that it certainly is a major contribution to an environment that leads to violence. When you keep calling somebody Hitler over and over and over and over again, as I've explained here before, when you keep claiming they don't have any positive aspects in their character, that they are a danger, that they're going to kill people, execute people, lock them up, destroy democracy, that has consequences, unfortunately that are predictable. Here again, let's look June 12, 2022 on Fox Go. Now as you know, there was what was to be an assassination attempt on a Supreme Court Justice. Kavanaugh, Brent Kavanaugh. Brent Kavanaugh was turned into the enemy of the state by the Democrat Party, by the Washington Post, by people bearing false witness, and by others. Day in and day out, Kavanaugh. That was the goal, to dehumanize him, to destroy him. That was the goal in the war against Clarence Thomas. It is now the goal against the Supreme Court, unless of course the left controls the court, and it's independent, they need to worship it, then they do movies about their justices. But not now. Not now, because the left knows it's not going to get all the decisions at once, because it didn't win all the elections that it insisted on winning. Mr. Kavanaugh's life and potential the life as a family were threatened just a few days ago. Why were they threatened? Well among other reasons, the Democrat Party and their media mouthpieces said some things about this court and have said things about Kavanaugh. This is a disaster, what the Democrat Party is doing. Reaching back to Donald Trump, this is what third world types do. This is what Stalin and the other genocidal maniacs have done. That is, try to take people who are out of political power and destroy them so they can never come back, so their voices can't be heard. Smear the people who back them and so forth and so on. Yes, there's an overlay here. Very quickly, I want you to listen to what Donald Trump said on January 6, 2021, in relevant part. Cut one, go. We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity of our elections, but whether or not they stand strong for our country. That is about as passive a statement you could possibly make peacefully and patriotically. Does that sound like a man leading an insurrection? No, and despite criminal investigations, media investigations, a corrupt January 6 Nancy Pelosi pull-up Euro that destroyed half the evidence that they had so you and I wouldn't get the facts. Not a syllable, not a word, not a sentence, not a paragraph, not a text, not an email, not a document, not a video, not an audio, nothing. Were Donald Trump ever incited an insurrection? Ever. Which is why he was never charged with it, but you wouldn't know it listening to the media. November 2023, there were two dozen mentions of Trump and Hitler on CNN and MSNBC. We have article after article. Rachel Maddal compares Trump's speech to Hitler's rise. Wow. Joy Reid, like Trump, Hitler was also viewed as a clown. Scarborough likens Trump to Hitler. Democratic Representative James Clyburn compares Trump to Hitler. The list goes on and on and on. Newsbusters, Media Research Center, Morning Joe can't stop, won't stop calling fascist Hitler Trump a threat to democracy. This is July 15th. This is July 15th, a few days ago, shortly after the assassination attempt. Joy Reid whines media not calling Trump Nazi Hitler enough. May 22nd, 2024. I went online and I posted enough is enough. It's time for Comcast and MSNBC to remove this woman who is the racist of the racists, who is the bigot of the bigots. I would suggest the Joy Reid go ahead and visit Auschwitz, visit one of the death camps, walk through the death camps, look at the gas chambers, look at the mass graves, look at what's there when you keep calling Donald Trump Hitler and then look at the the image of Donald Trump at the Western Wall wearing a yarmulke and look at his Jewish grandchildren and look at his Jewish daughter and his Jewish son-in-law and the people of Israel, most of whom are Jewish, love Donald Trump and yet Joy Reid won't stop calling him Hitler. I wrote a book on freedom of the press in 2019. In part, here's what I said. Even the tone of the press and reporting on President Trump has reached a level of an evictive rarely seen in politics. The president is repeatedly referred to or impliedly compared to a fascist dictator, neo-nazi, white supremacist, racist, Hitler, Stalin or Mussolini in various news outlets and on media platforms by their journalists, paid commentators and invited guests. These unhinged and shameful characterizations and rants are so numerous they're easily searchable and profuse on the internet. Here's a few examples. When Trump goes out there and whips people up it's like a Mussolini rally and yes that's what I said. Joe Scarborough, MSNBC. It's our responsibility to call out those times when constitutional norms are being challenged. Those times when the President of the United States actually channels Joseph Stalin and calls the media the enemy of the people, Joe Scarborough, MSNBC. Donald Trump talks like a racist, thinks like a racist, makes statements like a racist, conjures emotions, they give secular and support to white supremacists and white nationalists. Oh really? Michael Eric Dyson, MSNBC. Our president is a disturbed person. He's behaving in ways that are simply inexplicable. New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. The world witnessed a betrayal the likes of which we've never seen. America's president sided with its enemy today. At the time CNN's Chris Cuomo. The spirit of what Trump did is clearly treasonous. It's a betrayal of the United States. He threw our US intelligence services, flushed them away and he came off as being a puppet of Putin. People are going to say there's the taint of treason around this White House. CNN contributor, at least at the time, historian Douglas Brinkley. Well if anybody's issuing demented words of violence and death I would say it's the President of the United States. I mean it's quite a pass we've come to when the leadership of a country like Iran seems more stable and rational than the President of the United States. CNN analyst Max Boot. We got a guy, Trump, who gets up every morning and excretes the feces of his moral depravity into a nation he has turned into a psychic commode. That's what he's done and he's a bigot in chief and a racist in residence. Look at this mendacious, relentlessly lying, bigoted, ill-informed person that we have, MSNBC political analyst Michael Eric Dice. It goes on and on and on ABC, NBC, CBS, The New York Times, The Washington Post. I've been talking about this dehumanization issue for decades. I wrote about it. I talked about it on radio two weeks before the assassination attempt. You know it's an amazing thing America. It's an amazing thing what our media have turned into. I call it Al Jazeera media. A media that has defended Hamas against Israel. I call it also Pravda media. A media that is loaded with sympathies and support for Marxist elements in our government. Parts of the Democrat Party, it is awful, absolutely awful. Are they gonna tamp it down? I don't think they are. Until these big international corporations that own CNN and MSNBC and NBC and CBS and ABC, until they start firing some of the worst of the worst, it's not gonna tamp down. As a matter of fact, it's been a week since the assassination attempt on President Trump and what do you hear them say? Oh, look at that photograph. We're using that photograph too much where he's standing up after he was shot with his fist in the air in the American flag. We're turning him into a martyr. Oh, he contributed to his own shooting and he goes on and on and on. The poison in the American media leeches out to the general population, is relentless. It is repetitive. It is pervasive.
