Late-night authentic Trump post (12:31 AM EDT) using the Ronna McDaniel/NBC firing as a vehicle for three simultaneous psychological operations: displacement from severe same-day legal developments (bond reduction, trial date, gag order — all absent), grandiose self-positioning as the expert executive authority over institutions he has no formal role in, and a final status diminishment of McDaniel via the Romney name joke. That joke is the most clinically revealing element: Trump reportedly pressured McDaniel to drop the Romney surname years ago to distance her from Mitt Romney; he now claims he would have advised her to keep it. This constitutes either deliberate gaslighting or characterological irony-blindness — consistent with his baseline inability to track his own contradictions as authored by him. The post activates Trump's core authority schema: subordinates who publicly challenge superiors represent an intolerable violation of hierarchy. The nicknaming apparatus is fully deployed. Defense mechanisms are dominated by displacement and splitting. No cognitive deviation from baseline. The clinically notable absence of any reference to the day's dramatic legal material suggests robust motivated inattention toward ego-threatening content that cannot be narratively resolved through dominance performance.
Dehumanizing Language Present

What boss or executive would allow a man or woman, in this case Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd, who was fired for dismal performance coupled with horrendous television ratings, to publicly SCOLD them as to their weakness & stupidity in hiring Ronna McDaniel. Actually, they should be scolded for hiring “Sleepy” for Meet the Fake Press, and keeping him on so long despite his poor performing skills, bad ratings, and bias. The sick degenerates over at MSDNC are really running NBC, and there seems nothing Chairman Brian Roberts can do about it. Watching Chuck Todd, of all people, viciously giving Roberts a piece of his small mind, and then berating him for hiring Ronna without his, or the other lunatics, approval, was just a step too far. Brian’s great father would have fired Chuck Todd, and all the rest of these losers, on the spot. Perhaps Brian still will. If I knew Ronna was going to troubled MSNBC, I would have advised her to change her name back to Romney, she would have had a better chance!
