Psychological & Rhetorical Analysis

Post Overview

This post consists entirely of a hyperlink to RSB Network (Right Side Broadcasting Network) — a pro-Trump conservative streaming outlet — with zero original text. The link headline ("Trump goes to the mat for the American people, pledges to bring back U.S. prosperity") encodes the intended framing without requiring Trump to author a single word. Contextually, this falls within a cluster of December 16–17 New Hampshire rally posts, suggesting it is part of coordinated post-rally amplification.

Authorship Attribution

UTC timestamp: 2023-12-17T00:07:13.869Z

Local time conversion: Trump was in Durham, New Hampshire for a campaign rally. EST = UTC−5. Therefore local time = 7:07 PM EST on December 16, 2023 — squarely within post-rally business hours.

This is aide-written with high confidence. The indicators are unambiguous:

• No original text whatsoever; purely a link share
• Posted in early evening local time, not late night/early morning
• Polished promotional intent — amplifying favorable media coverage
• RSB Network links are a standard Scavino-era amplification pattern
• Adjacent posts show the same rally-amplification cluster pattern (Rumble links, RSB links)

Trump's authentic posts typically contain emotional text, typos, ALL CAPS emotional spikes, or stream-of-consciousness content. A bare URL is the aide playbook.

Psychological State

Because there is no original authored text, direct psychological inference is severely constrained. What can be noted:

Trigger: Supply-seeking / maintenance. The post amplifies favorable media framing of his New Hampshire rally. No narcissistic injury trigger is evident; this is routine grandiosity maintenance — feeding the audience a heroic narrative ("goes to the mat") curated by others.

Narcissistic state: Implied grandiose, via the mediated framing of the URL text. The aide selects language ("goes to the mat," "pledges to bring back prosperity") that casts Trump in the Warrior/Savior archetype without Trump having to assert it directly — a rhetorically economical form of supply delivery.

Defense mechanisms: Minimal signal. The act of linking to favorable coverage implicitly employs idealization of self-image via proxy.

Level 1: Big Five Traits

Signal is too thin for reliable trait-level inference from this post alone. The surrounding cluster (THANK YOU NEW HAMPSHIRE; I kept America SAFE; I kept the ENTIRE WORLD SAFE) exhibits high extraversion, low agreeableness, and neuroticism-driven grandiosity. This link fits that pattern as supportive amplification.

Level 2: Characteristic Adaptations

Agency motives dominate the surrounding cluster. This link is instrumentally subordinate — it extends the power/status supply loop by directing followers to favorable media.

Schema: Self = protector of the people / prosperity-bringer. World = needing rescue from current disorder.

Level 3: Narrative Identity

The URL headline enacts a redemption sequence in embryonic form: implicit contamination (America in decline) resolved by Trump's pledge to restore prosperity. The "goes to the mat" idiom casts him in the Warrior archetype — fighting on behalf of the "forgotten" people. The Hero/Savior archetype is simultaneously invoked via "bring back prosperity."

Contrasting other: Absent in this post but structurally implied (whoever caused the decline being contrasted with Trump the restorer).

Rhetorical Techniques

• Parasocial reinforcement: Directing followers to favorable media extends the information ecosystem loop
• Proxy grandiosity: Allowing the outlet's framing to do the self-aggrandizing work
• Appeal to nostalgia: "Bring back" implies a lost golden age
• Legitimacy laundering: Using a media outlet (however partisan) adds an apparent third-party endorsement

No dehumanizing language, violent imagery, or stochastic terrorism indicators present.

Cognitive Status

Unassessable from a bare URL. No language production data available in this post.
