Analysis: Link-Only Share of "Remember Why You Liked Trump" Article

Context

Post from December 14, 2022 — approximately 5:17 PM ET (Mar-a-Lago). This is one of several link-only or minimal-commentary shares in a rapid sequence, all sharing articles favorable to Trump. The post-midterm period saw significant GOP blame directed at Trump for candidate losses, and this article title directly addresses wavering supporters.

Pattern Recognition

This post is part of a cluster of link shares on the same day — all from right-aligned outlets (American Greatness, Gateway Pundit, Breitbart, AMAC, American Thinker). The curation pattern suggests systematic supply-seeking: assembling external validation from sympathetic media to counter post-midterm criticism.

Authorship

Business-hours timing, no commentary, clean URL formatting — consistent with aide (Scavino) curation. The systematic nature of posting multiple links in sequence suggests a planned media-sharing operation rather than impulsive engagement.

Psychological Significance

The article title itself is revealing: "Remember Why You Liked Trump in the First Place" is a plea against abandonment, framed as reminder rather than argument. Sharing this without comment implies endorsement of the premise — that supporters need reminding, acknowledging erosion of support while reframing it as temporary forgetfulness rather than rational reassessment.

Rhetorical Function

The link functions as parasocial maintenance during a period of threat. By letting the article speak for him, Trump avoids the vulnerability of making the plea himself while still transmitting the message.
