Post from Truth Social

Analysis: Retweet with "True!" Endorsement (2022-12-13)

This is a minimalist retweet post—Trump shares a Truth Social post from user _ero and appends "True!" as endorsement. The URL appears malformed (the "True!" is concatenated onto it), suggesting hasty composition. Without access to the original post content, analysis is necessarily limited, though context from surrounding posts indicates this period was dominated by Twitter Files revelations and grievance about his Twitter ban.

Authorship

Posted at 17:53 UTC = 12:53 PM EST. Trump was likely at Mar-a-Lago in December 2022. Midday posting during a flurry of similar RT activity. The "True!" appended directly to the URL (no space/line break) suggests authentic but hasty Trump composition—an aide would format properly. The pattern of rapid-fire RTs with brief endorsements is characteristic Trump behavior.

Psychological Context

This is part of a cluster of posts all focused on the Twitter Files narrative. The repetitive RT pattern with brief affirmations ("True!", "So true", "People must start talking about GREATNESS") reflects supply-seeking and validation through amplification of supportive voices. The narcissistic injury from the Twitter ban remains an active wound being salved by these revelations.

Rhetorical Function

Minimal original content—functions as curation/amplification rather than argumentation. The single-word endorsement "True!" serves as an authority stamp from Trump onto supporter content.
