Post from Truth Social

Analysis: Retweet with Call to National Greatness

Context

This post is a retweet of a Truth Social user (@TONYxTWO) with Trump adding the commentary: "People must start talking about GREATNESS for our Country again!" Posted at 12:51 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago), this follows a series of posts about the Twitter Files revelations regarding his ban.

Authorship

The timing (midday business hours), clean grammar, and brevity suggest possible aide involvement, though the ALL-CAPS "GREATNESS" and exclamation mark are signature Trump stylistic elements. The content is simple enough to be either. Mixed signals — likely authentic given it fits his reactive posting pattern of the day.

Psychological Analysis

This is a relatively low-intensity supply-seeking post. After spending the morning venting about perceived injustice (Twitter ban, double standards), this post pivots to grandiose restoration framing. The implicit message: the country has lost its greatness (contamination), and people need to realign with Trump's vision (redemption).

The word "again" directly echoes the MAGA slogan, functioning as brand maintenance. "People must start" implies others have stopped — a mild reproach of the public for insufficient loyalty to the greatness narrative.

Rhetorical Function

This serves as a palate cleanser between grievance posts — projecting optimism and forward vision after victimhood content. It's a classic oscillation from vulnerable narcissistic state (persecuted by Twitter) to grandiose state (visionary leader calling nation forward).
