Analysis: Link Share — Twitter Suppression Narrative (2022-12-11)

This post is a bare URL share to a Becker News article about Twitter deploying tools against Trump before the 2020 election, part of the "Twitter Files" narrative emerging in December 2022 after Elon Musk's takeover.

Context

This is one of multiple link shares in this period (Spectator, Epoch Times, Hannity, Becker News) all reinforcing a persecution/vindication narrative. The Twitter Files revelations provided external validation for Trump's longstanding claims of social media censorship.

Authorship

Posted at 4:37 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago). Business hours, bare link share with no personal commentary — consistent with aide/Scavino curation of favorable media coverage.

Psychological Function

The post serves a supply-seeking and vindication function. The Twitter Files provided narcissistic supply by confirming the persecution narrative — "they really were out to get me." This is psychologically gratifying as it transforms paranoid-seeming claims into documented reality.

Pattern

This is the third link share in 24 hours all reinforcing the same theme (institutional persecution, media bias, GOP establishment failure). The volume suggests a coordinated content strategy rather than impulsive posting.

Rhetorical Function

Letting the headline do the rhetorical work — "Twitter Unleashed Vast Array of Tools" frames Twitter as aggressor and Trump as target. No commentary needed; the article title itself functions as the argument.
