Analysis: RT of Mark Levin Post with "So true!"

Post Overview

This is a retweet/repost of a Mark Levin post with the brief endorsement "So true!" The original Levin content is not available, but given the context (Twitter Files, Constitution controversy, Trump Org conviction, Walker loss), Levin—a staunch Trump ally—was likely validating one of Trump's grievance narratives.

Authorship

Posted at 3:30 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago). Business hours, minimal original content, standard RT format. Could be either Trump or aide—RTs with brief commentary are low-effort enough for either. The brevity and lack of typos/caps lean slightly toward aide, but "So true!" is a classic Trump endorsement phrase.

Psychological State

This is a supply-seeking/maintenance post—amplifying an ally's validation during a period of significant legal and political setbacks (Trump Org conviction, Walker loss, Constitution controversy backlash). The pattern of retweeting supportive voices increases when under siege.

Defense Mechanisms

• Idealization: Elevating allied voices who validate his worldview
• Denial (indirect): By amplifying sympathetic commentary, avoids engaging with adverse developments directly

Rhetorical Function

Parasocial coalition-building—showing followers that respected conservative figures agree with him, reinforcing in-group epistemic closure.
