Post from Truth Social

Incredible how dishonest the Fake News Media is.The Failing New York Times has gone crazy. So many of the people I Endorsed went on to victory on Tuesday Night, nobody was even close, and they literally make up a story refusing to write the facts, and only quoting enemies and losers. Almost all of the people I endorsed WON, yet if you read the story from two Trump hating writers (who only do as they are told!), you would not even recognize the truth. They truly are, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!!!

This 1:44 AM post reveals acute narcissistic injury triggered by NYT coverage exposing the gap between Trump's claimed endorsement success and competitive-race reality. Longitudinal analysis shows escalating reality distortion: win counts inflated across four posts in 24 hours (115→174→219→"almost all") as the subject constructed an increasingly distorted counter-narrative. The defense structure combines pathological distortion (reshaping endorsement record), projection (accusing journalists of fabrication while distorting facts), and splitting (binary enemies-vs-winners framing). The culminating "ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE" constitutes stochastic terrorism patterning — identifying a target (NYT and specific writers), articulating a grievance (dishonest coverage), applying a dehumanizing label, and implying existential threat. This phrase has historically preceded violence against journalists. The mixed narcissistic state oscillates between grandiose self-assessment ("nobody was even close") and persecutory vulnerability, consistent with the Kernberg model of narcissistic rage as response to ego threat. Gaslighting is present: accurate reporting is reframed as fabrication, demanding followers reject observable reality. The post exemplifies epistemic closure dynamics — accepting Trump's version becomes a loyalty test. Clinically, the disproportionality of rage to stimulus, the late-night timing, and the escalating distortion pattern warrant continued monitoring.

Dehumanizing Language Present

Fact Checks (2)
"Almost all of the people I endorsed WON"
Half True

True if counting all endorsements including safe-seat incumbents. In competitive races, Trump-backed candidates lost key Senate races in PA, AZ, NV, NH, and GA runoff. His overall record included many uncontested or safe races that inflate the numbers.

"NYT 'literally make up a story refusing to write the facts'"
False

NYT coverage accurately reflected that Trump-endorsed candidates underperformed in competitive races, which is documented by election results.
