Post from Truth Social

Analysis: Link Share — Devin Nunes Praises Truth Social

Overview

A URL-only post sharing a Just The News article in which Devin Nunes (then CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group) describes Truth Social as "the most important thing Trump ever created." This is a low-effort, narcissistic supply post — Trump amplifying third-party praise of himself and his platform.

Authorship

Posted at 1:22 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago or traveling in early October 2022). Business-hours, link-only post with no commentary — consistent with aide/Scavino curation. However, link-only posts are also within Trump's capability. The pattern of multiple link shares on this date (5+ URL-only posts) suggests a batch-posting session, more characteristic of staff operation.

Psychological Function

The headline itself does the psychological work: it positions Truth Social as Trump's greatest creation — above the presidency, businesses, or any other accomplishment. Sharing this without commentary implies endorsement of that extraordinary claim. This is pure narcissistic supply via proxy validation.

Context

This falls within a series of link-only posts on the same day, all amplifying favorable media coverage ahead of the 2022 midterms. The pattern is maintenance-mode content curation rather than emotional reactivity.
