Analysis: Keith Self Congressional Endorsement

Standard midterm endorsement post following a rigid template identical to the Mike Collins endorsement posted the same day. This is clearly a batch of endorsements being issued during the October 2022 midterm push.

Authorship

This is unambiguously aide-written (likely Dan Scavino or campaign staff). The post follows the exact same template as the Collins endorsement: [Name] + superlative + district + biography + policy list + "Complete and Total Endorsement!" The capitalization pattern is formulaic (Strengthen, Support, Fight, Defend), grammar is correct, and there is zero emotional reactivity. Posted at 1:20 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago), squarely in business hours.

Psychological Content

Minimal authentic psychological signal. The post is a political product, not self-expression. The policy positions listed (military, veterans, election security, Second Amendment) reflect campaign messaging priorities rather than Trump's in-the-moment psychological state. "Under siege by the Radical Left" is the only emotionally charged phrase, and it is boilerplate.

Context

The same day features multiple link-shares about the FBI Mar-a-Lago raid — those posts likely reflect Trump's actual psychological preoccupations (narcissistic injury, persecution). This endorsement is routine campaign maintenance occurring alongside that more emotionally driven content.

Rhetorical Notes

Standard endorsement rhetoric: appeal to military authority, in-group signaling ("Radical Left"), threat framing ("under siege").
