Analysis: Link-Only Post Sharing "Trump Is Running" Article

This post is one of a series of link-shares on the same day, all featuring articles arguing Trump should or will run for president in 2024. No personal commentary accompanies the link.

Context

The posting date (September 22, 2022) coincides with significant legal pressure: the NY AG fraud lawsuit, adverse 11th Circuit ruling on classified documents, and Special Master Dearie pressing on declassification claims. Rather than addressing any of these, Trump shares a barrage of favorable articles about a 2024 run—a classic deflection pattern.

Authorship

Posted at 12:29 PM ET (Trump likely at Mar-a-Lago or NYC). Business-hours posting of a bare URL with no commentary is consistent with aide curation—likely Dan Scavino or social media staff compiling favorable press.

Psychological Significance

The batch-posting of 2024-candidacy articles amid acute legal threats represents narcissistic supply-seeking and denial of legal vulnerability. The implicit message: "I am ascendant, not imperiled." The volume (5+ similar posts) suggests urgency in counter-narrative construction.

Rhetorical Function

These posts serve as a curated echo chamber—each article reinforces inevitability of Trump's return. The audience receives a steady stream of "experts agree" framing without Trump having to make claims himself.
