Chuck Schumer recently said, "Every day gets better" during their Radical Left Shutdown. I DISAGREE! If nothing is done, because of "Leader" Chuck Schumer and the Democrats, our Brave Troops will miss the paychecks they are rightfully due on October 15th. That is why I am using my authority, as Commander in Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th. We have identified funds to do this, and Secretary Hegseth will use them to PAY OUR TROOPS. I will not allow the Democrats to hold our Military, and the entire Security of our Nation, HOSTAGE, with their dangerous Government Shutdown. The Radical Left Democrats should OPEN THE GOVERNMENT, and then we can work together to address Healthcare, and many other things that they want to destroy. can't lie to a bank to get a mortgage. And if they did, our government would throw the book at them. There simply cannot be different rules for different people. All right. Well, if you guess the Trump-hating New York attorney general who's now charged with mortgage fraud, congratulations. You got that right. That post came a full four years after she allegedly did what she was accusing Donald Trump of doing. She's vowing to fight, though, her charges as her allies try to normalize breaking the law. What Tish James, and again, we're still getting the details, but if it's related to this mortgage issue, I mean, this is something that everyone in America, or many people at least, if you're lucky enough to be able to buy a house in America, you deal with this, right? The federal government doesn't go after all of these people for doing this. Bank fraud or will we consider mortgage fraud type cases are very common. Joining me exclusively, Bill Pulte, federal housing director, Bill, the angle broke the story back in April that you sent a criminal referral to the DOJ for Letitia James. Now, to those downplaying the seriousness of these charges saying basically everyone does it, what's your response tonight? Well, mortgage fraud is very serious, Laura. I don't like how people are trying to minimize this and trying to minimize violating the law. She was charged with bank fraud. I mean, that's a very serious thing. And you know, Laura, I'll say this, when people lie on small things, they tend to lie on big things and they tend to lie a lot. And going back to the 1980s, this subject said that she was married to her father. That doesn't make any sense for purposes of getting a mortgage application. And then you have, she has these three different properties. She has two in Virginia, one that she claims is her primary residence. Another one that she claims is her second residence with the, which the DOJ is now, and, and Lindsay Halligan has done a great job, I think at laying this out is she's Letitia James appears to be representing it as an investment property for her taxes. So I think Ms. James has a world of problems. And I just want to tell everyone, if, if there is mortgage fraud and you commit mortgage fraud in this country, we're going to come after you. It doesn't matter whether you're a Republican, a Democrat or a sophisticated person like Ms. James. Yeah, to me, I watched this and I watched her reaction last night and she's trying to do that kind of righteous indignation and, and the facts will show, in other words, saying it's just political retribution, Donald Trump's weaponizing government. That's kind of rich, don't you think, coming from her? Well, it is, but what's also concerning Laura is, you know, we have a tax system in this country and we have certain things, you know, I run Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for the president, as you know, and we're trying to turn these companies around. We're trying to lower housing costs. We can't have attorney generals out there saying that something is a primary residence when really it's not, or that it's a secondary residence when it's not. We need all hands on deck to reverse what's happened these last four years. President Trump is committed to it. And again, it doesn't matter whether it's Letitia James or somebody else. I'll raise one other thing with you, Laura, which was fascinating in this indictment that U.S. Attorney Halligan did. She lays out in there, and I didn't know this, but it's fascinating to me that Letitia James, according to the indictment, said that she had a primary residence at the secondary home for purposes of insurance. I believe, and I don't know for sure, we'll have to see what happens, that that's insurance fraud. And a lot of people just think, Laura, well, it's mortgage fraud. You have downstream crimes when you have mortgage fraud. You have insurance fraud, you have tax fraud. And so I wouldn't be surprised to see a superseding indictment, But of course, that would be all up to the DOJ. Very, very--
