We now know for sure that under these men, James Comey and his deputy Andrew McCabe, the FBI interfered in the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton and hurt Donald Trump. We know that the Trump-Russia collusion investigation was a hoax that should never have happened, that the Justice Department and the FBI failed to follow the law, that the establishment's beloved Mueller Report was not an honest investigation, but a partisan cover-up. We now know that Hillary Clinton herself cooked up the entire phony Russia collusion narrative, that in July 2016, she approved it as a distraction from her own rotten scandals. Special counsel Durham referring to her scheme as the Clinton Plan. Russian intelligence believing that the Clinton Plan aimed to tie Trump to Putin and the Russian hack of the DNC. We also now know that MSNBC's brazenly dishonest and insufferably pompous pundit. Then CIA director John Brennan briefed President Obama and Vice President Biden, along with then Attorney General Loretta Lynch and other officials, about the Clinton campaign's anti-democratic plot. And not one of them said or did the slightest thing about it, allowing this massive scandal to unfold because it suited their partisan interests. Yes, the exact people who drone on endlessly with their lectures about protecting our democracy, who never stop falsely and corrosively branding their political opponents as threats to democracy. They're the ones plotting and scheming to subvert and undermine democracy at every opportunity. How they love going on and on about autocracy and authoritarian regimes like Erdogan's Turkey or Ban's Hungary. But when you have America's ruling political party colluding with the country's leading law enforcement agency and the apparatus of the security state to swing elections in its favor, how's that any different? Look how shamelessly they pushed all their reckless lies. This week we saw cold hard evidence that the Trump administration and the Trump family had eagerly intended to collude with Russia a hostile foreign policy to influence an American election. The Russians offered help, the campaign accepted help, the Russians gave help and the president made full use of that help. And that is pretty damning. The Russians were successful. I don't think there's any way to read that report and not conclude. They accomplished what they set out to do. They had an objective to sow discord and divisiveness within our society at large and to help Donald Trump and they succeeded. Yeah, Russia did sow discord and division, but not half as much as you, Hillary Clinton, as you, Nancy Pelosi, as you, Brennan, Biden, Comey, Schiff, you were the ones who did this to America. And now in response to the Durham report, the FBI claims its current leadership took, quote, "dozens of corrective actions which have now been in place for some time." And that if these had been in place in 2016, the politicization, quote, "could have been prevented." Oh, really? Their so-called corrective actions were in place in 2020, yet the politicization just rolled on as if nothing had happened. In 2020, yet again, the FBI colluded with the Democrats, the intelligence agencies, and this time big tech, too, yet again, to help the Democratic candidate in a presidential election. Let's remind ourselves what happened. In 2019, the FBI obtained through a subpoena, Hunter Biden's laptop, which contained evidence of Joe Biden's corrupt business dealings with a hostile foreign power while he was vice president. Soon after, the FBI started spying on Rudy Giuliani and learned that he also had the contents of the laptop and was working with the New York Post Miranda divine on a story which would reveal in October 2020, a month before the election, the true extent of the Biden family influence peddling operation. So the FBI, which alongside the Department of Homeland Security and other parts of the national security establishment, had for years been building a censorship by proxy operation with big tech, approached Facebook and Twitter and told them to expect a dump of anti Biden Russian disinformation in October involving Hunter Biden. They knew this was false. They had the laptop. What they said to Facebook and Twitter was the actual disinformation, which Facebook and Twitter dutifully acted upon. So when Miranda divine published her story in the New York Post, they immediately censored it. 51 former Intel officials wrote a public letter saying it looked like Russian disinformation. And as a result of all that, most of the media ignored the Biden corruption story and Biden himself was able to dodge questions about it in the presidential debate, which we now know was the entire point of the spies lying letter to give Biden ammunition to quote, push back on Trump in that debate. This shameful dirty trick initiated by former CIA director Michael Morell and the man who was our current Secretary of State, Tony Blinken. Vital information about the trustworthiness of one of the candidates for president of the United States was hidden from voters. That is what you call election interference. That is what you call meddling in an election. But it wasn't Russian meddling. Just like in 2016, it was FBI meddling. It is obvious that the FBI has been totally politicized. And under current director, Christopher Ray, the politicization continues to this day with the FBI's appalling treatment of conservatives, parents, Christians, the FBI seemingly operating as the armed enforcers of the Democrats political agenda. As Durham points out, the answer to all this is not the creation of new rules, but a renewed fidelity to the old. It is impossible to believe that will happen under Christopher Ray. At best, he presided over and at worst directed the FBI operating as the agent of a political party. And it's not just people like me saying this. It's coming from inside the FBI. Here's former agent, special agent Nicole Parker. Over the course of my 12 plus years, the FBI's trajectory has transformed. The FBI became politically weaponized starting from the top in Washington and trickling down to the field offices. And now here's Chuck Todd on NBC just this morning. FBI misuse surveillance tool on January six suspects, BLM, Black Lives Matter arrestees, and other Simone. Look, trust in the FBI is eroding left and right. Feels like we're in the moment that we need a real church committee that this is a moment like when the J. Edgar Hoover FBI clearly was no longer helping the American people. There was a moment. It feels like we might be in one of those moments. The FBI, as currently run, is a threat to the fabric of America. And if Democrats truly cared about attacks on our democracy, they would be as outraged over this as Republicans rightly are. Get rid of Ray, clean out the barn, restore our trust in federal law enforcement. That is the next revolution we need.

Don't you think that, I mean, just for some measure of accountability, every Republican candidate for president needs to make clear that they would fire Christopher Wray? Yeah, I think I definitely want to hear from him, and I don't want to hear from him in the shadows that we have, we've implemented policies, everything's better now. Nobody believes that. It tells you they're still a B.S. We also didn't hear from him times, I felt, when the FBI should have been a little bit more involved. I think every Republican running also has to cry foul on this. It's one thing if they want to run against Donald Trump. They're attacking Donald Trump, I don't know how they're going to attract his voters at the same time, but that's their problem. But Steve, Tammy, it's very important that they come out and they scream about this the way they should have Alvin Bragg, indictment and arraignment, in other words. You have to cry foul when you see it, even if you want that person's job. I think that's it. You have to be consistent in the system. By the way, I want to see two, three responsible honorable Democrats do the same thing. Where are they? Yeah, exactly. Great point. Well, there's another aspect to all this that I wanted to get to, since we're talking about the establishment and its collusion, it would be terribly remiss if we didn't discuss the other shameful aspect, which is the media's role. They wanted so badly for the Russia hoax to be Trump's Watergate. In fact, it's much worse than Watergate. I think we have all the proof we need of a scandal that's arguably worse than Watergate. I was asked by one of the Australian journalists about how I'd compare the current situation with this administration versus Watergate. And I made the comment that I felt this situation was much worse. I think it's time to recognize that what we are watching in the Trump presidency is worse than Watergate. Oh, yes, worse than Watergate. They all shunted. Oh, my gosh. It's a good story, by the way. And how confidently and self-righteously and sanctimoniously they pushed what turned out to be a total scam. He's not knowing. Of course he is, Leslie. Come on. Of course he is. It's the second biggest scandal. The biggest scandal was when they spied in my campaign. They spied in my campaign, Leslie. There's no real evidence of that. Of course there is. No. It's all over the place. Leslie. Sir. They spied in my campaign and they got caught. Can I say something? You know, this is 60 Minutes, and we can't put on things we can't verify. You won't put it on because it's bad for Biden. We can't put on things we can't verify. Leslie, they spied in my campaign. Well, we can't verify that. It's been totally verified. But over at the Pulitzer Prize Committee, a pack of lies was all you needed to win the most prestigious awards in, what do they call it, journalism. Just savor for a moment these citations for the New York Times and the Washington Post awarded for their quote, "deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interests that dramatically furthered the nation's understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign." Amazing. Absolutely amazing. It's like Alice Through the Looking Glass. Now people are asking, "Will these newspapers give back their Pulitzer's?" Seems to me that's the wrong question. It's not the New York Times and Washington Post fault that they were handed out these prizes on a totally false basis. It's the 2018 Pulitzer board who should be ashamed, especially its chairman, Eugene Robinson, who just happens to be an editorial columnist for the Washington Post. Funny how that works. Tammy. Well, I think that this is very much like the Oscars in a way. It's the town. It's for marketing, which backs are being slapped, who's being scratched, who's seeing each other in the corner. Or it could be like a garage band, where it's just really no good. But everybody thinks it's Van Halen. And they sell everyone their Van Halen, but they're not. So I think one of the silver linings of this whole experience is the American people have known that something is wrong. And that we've believed things for certainly through my generation and the generation before the Walter Cronkite stuff, and you had three channels and you believed it. And the news, they care about us and they're always truthful. We now know that this whole thing has been a fraud. This whole thing is a charade. And it's hard to accept it and it's like a bummer and Hollywood's ruined and there's no good television. And that's awful. And social media, maybe Musk will make it really great, but who knows? And we might have to live our lives again and have family nights. I don't know. But the bottom line is, is that this whole thing is a fraud. That is also Trump's fault, because they've made them panic to such a degree that all of this has now been exposed. More will happen. But I think the American people should take a deep breath and say, all right, now we know and now we're going to deal with it. We were just talking, Kelly, about the White House Correspondents Dinner and all these people going on there making their speeches about journalism. The truth. It's all about the truth. Facts first. There are. CNN facts first, ratings last. Look, I'm going to say here what I said on Fox News Sunday on January 29th, 2017, we had only been on the job for nine days in the White House. No one ever loses their jobs over this. They lose their jobs over other things, misogyny, maybe sexual harassment allegations, maybe layoffs. They never lose their job over being caught not doing their job. And so I felt after the 2016 campaign, it was the job of the media to tell the people who was going to win, or actually just to say it's a closer race than we think. Hillary's ignoring Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, therefore Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may ignore Hillary, something we were saying every single day. Not a single person lost his or her job as a result of that. And I think they never forgave Trump for winning. They never forgave all of a sudden. And so, look, there's an excuse for all of this, for everything we're talking about. It's called, "But Trump." It's eight simple letters. It's two simple words, nine with the exclamation point. You don't want to do a Joe Biden. On the altar of Trump, right, on the altar, but we're not using teleprompters. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do every day, and that teleprompter always wins, by the way. But Tammy and I are just talking. Steve, the fact is, if it has to do with Donald Trump, there are no rules, there are no regulations. They think they can say and do whatever they want, the facts be damned.

Look, I was the campaign manager for Trump pens 2016 brought it to a successful conclusion. And the Democrats knew they had a lemon. They had a floppy jalopy and Hillary Clinton and they were desperate, desperate to get some new wheels and a fresh coat of paint on her. We didn't know any of this, of course, we were busy talking to people in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, Macomb County, Michigan, certainly not in Moscow. We'll never be apologized to, but the American people deserve an apology, Steve, because I think that the FBI, the bad actors there on the seventh floor of the Department of Justice, Schiff, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, his friend Tapper at CNN and the whole lot of them. I think they only get away with this if we are all as stupid as they think we are. And now we are awakened. They've awakened a sleeping giant. I don't want to hear the reforms have been in place. Exactly. I don't want to hear nothing to see or nothing to worry about. People should be very concerned because politicization of our highest law enforcement agency is weaponization of our highest law enforcement agency. And this is all in the altar of winning a presidential campaign. We've got another one less than 18 months away. I think I'm not the only American right now who feels afraid and who feels a lack of security and certainty that we won't again see people at the highest echelons of power trying to prop up the ultimate floppy jalopy lemon, Joe Biden. They're stuck with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. He chosen Kamala Harris as his VP, one of three people in the whole country who couldn't upstage him. And now we're all stuck. Let that sink in. Now we're all stuck with both of them. And I think they'll go to any means possible. Look at Fetterman. Look at Biden. Look at Harris. This is not a party interested in quality candidates. They're interested in power and winning. Last point, because you want to hear from Tammy for sure. Steve, Tammy, the fact is the same players that we see in this 2016 election interference cabal, are the same, many of the same people who signed that letter. Four years later, they're the same 51 people. They should lose their contracts. They should lose their security clearances. They've lied to the American people and they've lied under the guise of we are national security foreign policy experts. Terrible. And that's why that word we use all the time, and you and I, Tammy, especially, we've talked about this fear is the establishment. Some people dismiss that word exactly for the reason that Kellyanne just laid out. That is what this is about, and to add to your point, very likely, we'll discuss later in the show how likely it is, Donald Trump could again be the person. They're all desperate to stop. It seems that they still are desperate, and there's a reason because this proves, of course, not just interference, but the attempt to frame the leading candidate, the winning candidate, the president-elect, and then the president. And ultimately, they were successful in using that kind of framing and that kind of chaos to convince a number of Americans that everything will be back to normal, that this has been horrible. He is the menace. He's the monster on the hill. When they're the monster on the hill and they've done this to the system, it's not just an election. It is the nature of our lives moving forward. All of them are going to be fine. They have somehow millions of dollars. They want more millions. They want millions for their children. They want to do as they please. There is only one person still. I think that the Republican bench is deep. It is extremely talented, but there seems to be one guy. There's a book out there, which I can't say the name because it's slightly obscene, is how- Oh, John Tammy, you can do it. Learning how to not give an F. Right. And it's not that you don't care. It's that you have something beyond what everyone else is saying matters, money and power. Elon Musk has talked about this, that there's something more important. Nothing will matter. And only Donald Trump has that attitude. Only Donald Trump. And it's the same thing that makes people nervous, which is that he's eaten the McDonald's and you don't know what he's going to do in five minutes. I love this guy. And I love him because he has the same attitude as the American people and they still want to condemn him for that. But these are the same people, like Andrew McCabe. He was fired. That was reversed when Biden got in. He got his pension back. He got $200,000 in payback after the one guy that paid a price for all of this. And now he's all over the CNN. All of these are the people, one last thing. If there's one thing the American people have to do to show this system that we've really had it and that they have failed because no one's going to be arrested. And it is, and no matter what you think, a lot of people across the spectrum are thinking this. It's to reelect Donald Trump. It's almost the only way to give the guy his second term because, forget about the election, the entire attempt to frame it. Well, this is what I was just going to say to you, Kellyanne, it's not just the election. It's the distraction. I mean, all that time that you were there dealing with all this crap, frankly. And think about how much more this very successful president and administration could have accomplished if we weren't always shagging these ridiculous flies.
