A Florida slate, one template, one district at a time

This endorsement of Rep. Laurel Lee (FL-15) is one entry in a run of Florida endorsements posted on October 30, 2026, four days before the November 3 midterms. The other posts that day cover the 16th (Sydney Gruters), 17th (Greg Steube), 18th (Scott Franklin), 19th (Jim Schwartzel), and 21st (Brian Mast) districts. Every one of them uses the same three-part structure: an opening superlative ("an incredible Representative"), a résumé line ("served as Florida's Secretary of State for three years"), and a stock list of policy goals. The Lee list ("Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE... Protect our always under siege Second Amendment") matches the Mast and Schwartzel posts nearly word for word. The candidate's name and biography change from post to post. Nothing else does.

Who wrote it

The post went up at 22:21 UTC, which is 6:21 p.m. Eastern. Daylight time was still in effect, since it ends November 1. The evidence for staff authorship is strong. The templated list is shared across at least six posts. The post closes with a signature block ("President DONALD J. TRUMP") and a link to the get-out-the-vote site swampthevoteusa.com. The capitalization follows a fixed pattern: slogans like "MADE IN THE U.S.A.", "DOMINANCE" and "SECURE" are capped every time they appear across the series, which reads as house style rather than emphasis in the moment. The Oxford-comma slip in "for families, and businesses" is a small error, but the same template carries it in other posts, so it gives no sign of improvisation. The post has none of the markers of his own composing. It never drifts into a grievance, makes no aside about himself, and reacts to nothing in the news. The format itself, "Complete and Total Endorsement", is his signature phrase, approved and probably reused by staff.

What the post does psychologically

The factual claims hold up. Lee was appointed Secretary of State by Gov. DeSantis in January 2019 and resigned in May 2022 to run for Congress. That is about three years and four months, so "three years" rounds down but is accurate. She has represented FL-15 since January 2023 and is running for re-election. "Delivered strong results" and "fighting tirelessly" are campaign characterizations that can't be checked as facts.
