President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were spotted in some rare moments of public intimacy during an event in the White House Rose Garden on Monday.
After the First Lady introduced her husband, he thanked his “honey”, then helped her to her seat and pulled out her chair.
He then joked with her while announcing a new executive order establishing a Women’s Health Division within the National Institutes of Health. “When I heard about it, I said, ‘Are you sure they don’t have that? Who the hell wouldn’t have a women’s health division?’” the President remarked.
“Melania said, ‘They don’t have it,’ so good going... Oh boy, you think she’s easy? She’s not so easy... but she’s very smart and she gets it.”
Once the signing was complete, the couple shared a kiss while shaking hands.
