A photograph looking down a long, tiered outdoor concrete stairway/cascade structure flanked by rows of tall evergreen trees on both sides. The central channel between the stairs appears to be a neglected, disused water fountain or cascade feature, now overgrown with weeds and green plants, with some pooled water visible near the top. The concrete steps and retaining walls show cracking, staining, and general disrepair. At the far end of the walkway, a plaza with circular planters and a tall multi-story apartment or office building is visible in the background, along with what appears to be one small figure in a yellow/green safety vest. Patches of dead leaves and bare dirt appear on the lower right side of the image.

A photograph taken from an elevated vantage point looking down a long cascading water feature/fountain terrace in an urban park setting, likely Meridian Hill Park (Malcolm X Park) in Washington, D.C. The image shows a series of stepped stone terraces with a central cascading pool/waterfall descending toward the camera, flanked by manicured evergreen and deciduous trees on both sides. Numerous people are scattered along the stone ledges and terraces — sitting, standing, some with a dog on a leash. In the foreground, several people sit at the edge of a large basin pool with pale turquoise-tinted water, with their feet in the water. In the background, a large multi-story apartment/office building and other city buildings are visible above the treeline under an overcast sky.
