And it's happening for political reasons. It's happening because the Democratic Party has ceased making the case for itself to Americans. And so in order to keep power, in fact, to expand their power and to preside over the one party state that they desire, they're going to need a brand new electorate. And this is their electorate. Foreigners will choose your leaders. You're not allowed to choose the leaders of foreign countries, but foreigners will choose your leaders, including in this election, this 2024 presidential election. Well, how that work? It's illegal, you say, for illegal aliens to vote in a federal election. Well, actually, it's not illegal, it turns out. Congress passed something in the US code, the federal code, a line that unbeknownst to the rest of us makes it legal for illegal aliens to vote in federal elections if they believe they are citizens. It's a state of mind. Did you know that? We didn't know that. Most people didn't know that. Catherine Engelbrecht just found this provision in the US code. That's the kind of thing she reads because she's the founder of True the Vote and has been working on these issues for a few years now. And she joins us to explain what she's found. Catherine Albrecht, thank you so much for coming on. Oh, thanks for having me. So would you mind explaining what seems at first blush, a very far-fetched idea that the US code, as of right now, as of our speaking, would allow illegal aliens to vote in the upcoming presidential election? How would that work? Yeah, well, True the Vote, the organization I founded some years ago, has been long involved in looking at the accuracy of the voter rolls. And we've long maintained that inaccurate voter rolls lead to inaccurate elections. So with that as a backdrop, we've been very concerned about the lack of availability to determine citizenship status, not just by groups like ours, but by states themselves. They can't get close enough to a citizenship status database to make good determinations. That then led me to look a little deeper because as you rightly lay out, there's a motivation here. So what might that be? We've seen many, many videos of people coming across the border who are talking about their excitement about voting for Joe Biden and claiming that they are citizens. But yet we hear debates in Congress where the congressmen will say, "Don't worry, the non-citizens can't vote. It's a crime of perjury. It's a felony." So okay, we took a deep look at the criminal code. And Title 18 left us just gobsmacked because when you read all the way through it, as it lists all of the stipulations against non-citizen voting in federal elections and lays out the penalties, therefore, scroll all the way down to the fine print. And what you read is that non-citizens can vote without penalty if at the time they are voting, they believe themselves to be US citizens. Well, I mean, that seems insane. I mean, I'm taking your word for it. I'm not a lawyer, an expert in the federal code, but is there any other crime? Like if I can show that I didn't know I was robbing a liquor store, I had a gun in my hand, I was demanding money, but I didn't really think it was robbery. Does that shield me from being prosecuted for robbing a liquor store? No, certainly not. But I will say that this state of mind idea is something that we've come up against in the past related to domicile. As we've done reviews of the voter rolls and you see people that are registered, but they're registered to vacant lots, they're registered to fast food restaurants, and the press you get back from the state as well, but residency is a state of mind. This takes that to an entirely different level. And I'll tell you what I'm really concerned about, Tucker, is that when we lived through 2020 and we saw the landscape change, lawlessness take hold, we watched on the sidelines and said, surely this can't be what it looks like is happening. Surely this move to the mass mail of ballots and unmonitored drop boxes and third party election workers that have no proper training to support all of the ebbs and flows of process, surely this can't be what's about to play out. And then when it did, you're left with scant few days to try to pick up the pieces and prove what really happened. I'm seeing this now play out in 2024 on this issue much the same. And so it's my hope that we can awaken Americans to this problem and demand accountability before November so that we can decide if citizenship is truly a state of mind. Can I ask about the law itself, the code that you're referring to? Do you think that that suggests that the the foreigner, because the proposition here is that we're allowing foreigners to choose our leaders, which is insane, of course. But is the law written in such a way that that foreigner will not be punished for voting in our elections, but will that vote still count? Is that clear? Well, it's a great question. But, you know, you that mean the ballots are are anonymous. So once that ballot has been cast either by mail and it's been separated from the envelope with which it's carried to the central count. So you can't tell who voted if that's if that's been separated, the envelope from the ballot and certainly by machine. You can't tell. So no, there's no way there's no way to pull this back. It's it's why it is critical that we get on the front side of this and have a very national discussion about the tracks we're heading down. This is a very, very. Hey, it's Tucker Carlson. That's how I feel. - That's how I feel. - Because, and by the way, if I thought that he had committed some real crime, I wouldn't feel that way, but he didn't. He and Biden are both found with classified documents at home, along with every other former high-level federal official in history. But only Trump has indicted? Like, tell me how that works. Oh, shut up! - And Biden is the one who did it illegally because he was never president when he did it. - Do you think Dick Cheney brought home any classified or rock war documents and showed them to his wife in 2003? Well you know a lot of people have been asking me that and many people said you shouldn't do them but you see the polls have come out and I'm leading by 50 and 60 points and you know some of them are would be more appropriate not to do the debate I don't think it's right to do it if you're leading by 50 60 I have one problem leading by 70 points and I'm saying why am I doing it and I'm gonna have eight people ten people whoever made the debate I don't know how many it is but I'm gonna have all these people screaming at me shouting questions at me all of which I love answering I love doing but be different things he was looking at different elements of the administration and we decided I decided just I didn't want to I didn't want to do it and now I'm glad I did because you see but you know we had some some great people I had great people will have even better people if we do this because now I know Washington before I didn't know Washington but guys like Bill Barr were terrible I mean they were I would say Bush's I say that with respect to the Bush family but they were Bush's and just it doesn't work out for us it was clear this is kind of far afield but it was just interesting I read Barr's account of his time he wrote a book about it right his autobiography and in it he lies about Jeffrey Epstein's death clearly lies deep do you think Epstein killed himself sincerely I don't know I will say that you know he was a fixture in Palm Beach yeah I don't know what bar said about it either I have no idea what he said what did he say he killed himself probably he said he killed himself and that they were gonna do this investigation they never did the investigation it's never been public and they hit it and like why are they doing that and clearly bar knew but why would bill bar be covering up the death of Jeffrey Epstein a bill bar didn't do an investigation on the election fraud either okay he said he did and he pretended he did but he didn't mix Wayne the US Attorney in Pennsylvania Philadelphia said bar just wouldn't let him do it it was crazy bar became so petrified so frightened of being impeached we're gonna impeach him I don't know if you remember it yeah it's not a big moment in history but they said we're going to impeach you know they play a much rougher game the left the lunatics and they were gonna impeach Bill Barr and he was petrified now how do you not get impeached don't do any of this stuff but he didn't do the job there I don't know what he did with Epstein but possibly do you think it's possible that Epstein was killed oh sure it's possible I mean I don't really believe I think he probably committed suicide he had a life with you know beautiful homes and beautiful everything and he all of a sudden he's incarcerated and not doing very well I would say that he did but there are those people there are many people I think you're one of them right but a lot of people think that he he was killed he knew a lot on a lot of people he was killed I think I think the more the closer you look I'm not a conspiracy person at all I believe everything I hear but yeah the closer you look into it I mean the Attorney General the United States your Attorney General clearly lied about the Epstein death yeah he was why he was certainly it wasn't well done they'd had no cameras they had no anything everybody was sleeping and you know they're the case could be made look I'm not gonna get involved in it but I can tell you a case could be made either way but it certainly wasn't the most well-run place so so the reason I'm asking you is I'm looking at the trajectory since 2015 when you got into politics you know for real and then one there it started with protests against you massive protests organized protests by the left and then it moved to impeachment twice and now indictment I mean the next stage is is violence is are you worried that they're gonna try and kill you why wouldn't they try and kill you honestly they're savage animals they are people that are sick really sick you have great people in the Democrat Party you have great people that are Democrats most of the people in our country are fantastic and I'm representing everybody I'm not just Republicans I represent everybody I'm the president of everybody but I've seen what they do I've seen the lengths that they go to when they make up the Russia Russia Russia when that's exposed and they go down and Barr should have gone after them and other people should have gone after and they did very late because the Durham report came out it was fairly good it could have been a lot tougher I guess but it was fairly good but it explained how corrupt it was I'll tell you who did a great job was the Inspector General Horowitz he did a phenomenal report you didn't have to go to do it he did it on Comey and on I guess McCabe and some others and it was a vicious heart it was basically a true report how bad they are but these people are sick people these are people that I think they hate our country you want to know the truth when you see open borders when you see these policies that they have and so many other things it's so sad to see you know we have a country that's very fragile right now I've never seen I will say look I ran in 16 which was 15 but I ran in 16 election in 16 and there was tremendous spirit in 20 there was even more spirit we got many millions of millions and millions more votes you know wasn't even a contest people said well what'd you think of 20 I said we did much better we did you got to base it on the number of votes we got many more votes in 20 than we did in 16 but the election was rigged it was a rigged election but and with COVID they use COVID to cheat a lot of different things and we have so much on it it's like so easy
