I am pleased to announce that Dudley Hoskins will be the United States Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulator Programs at the Department of Agriculture. Dudley currently serves as Counsel on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and previously spent four years at USDA during my First Term, as the Chief of Staff for Marketing and Regulatory Programs, and Senior Advisor to the Secretary. He will work with our great Secretary of Agriculture Nominee, Brooke Rollins, to make sure American food is the safest and healthiest in the World. Congratulations Dudley!

I am pleased to announce Luke Lindberg will serve as the next United States Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agriculture Affairs at the Department of Agriculture. During my First Term, Luke served as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer at the Export-Import Bank, where he earned the Distinguished Service Award. He is currently the President & CEO of South Dakota Trade, and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of District Export Councils. Luke will work to make sure American Farmers and Ranchers get the smart Trade Deals that they deserve. Congratulations Luke!

It is my honor to announce that Wells Griffith will be the next Under Secretary of Energy at the United States Department of Energy. During my First Term, Wells served as the Senior Advisor to the CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Senior Director for Energy and Environment on the National Security Council, as well as Acting Assistant Secretary for International Affairs at the Department of Energy. Wells will now work with our highly respected Secretary of Energy Nominee, Chris Wright, to DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and unleash American Energy Dominance. Congratulations Wells!

I am pleased to announce that Paul R. Lawrence, Ph.D., will serve as the next Deputy Secretary Of Veterans Affairs. Paul was a great VA Under Secretary of Benefits in my First Term, implementing Legislation I signed to improve the GI Bill and Appeals Modernization. Paul also helped us drive the claims backlog to its LOWEST LEVEL in VA History. Paul was previously a Partner at Ernst & Young, and the Public Sector Vice President of Kaiser Associates. He will work with our next VA Secretary, Doug Collins, to ensure our Hero Vets are taken care of, and treated with the respect they deserve, with thanks for the incredible sacrifices they have made for our Country. Congratulations Paul!

I am pleased to announce that James P. Danly will be our next United States Deputy Secretary of Energy.  James is a retired U.S. Army Officer, who served for two tours in Iraq, where he earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He served in my First Term as General Counsel, Commissioner, and Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where he won countless cases before the Federal Courts, and drove regulatory reform to ensure abundant and affordable energy for the American People. James earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University, and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. Congratulations James!

I am pleased to announce that Tilman J. Fertitta has been nominated to serve as the United States Ambassador to Italy. Tilman is an accomplished businessman, who has founded and built one of our Country’s premier entertainment and real estate companies, employing approximately 50,000 Americans. Tilman has a long history of giving back to the community through numerous philanthropic initiatives, which include children’s charities, Law Enforcement, and the medical community. Additionally, Tilman is the longest serving Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University of Houston. Congratulations to Zach and Sophi Witkoff on the birth of their son, Don James Witkoff (DJW), named after me (Thank you!). I wish them the best today, the day of DJW’s Bris. I am pleased to nominate Michael J. Rigas to be Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources. Michael will bring accountability to the State Department as he did Government wide, when he served in my First Term as the Deputy and Acting Director of the Office of Personnel Management, and the Acting Deputy Director for Management at the Office of Management and Budget. He holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Economics from Boston University, focusing on international trade and finance. Mike is a conservative warrior who knows how Government works, and will help Make America Great Again!

Michael Needham will serve as Counselor of the Department of State. Mike has capably served Senator Marco Rubio for many years, and is a key leader in the America First Movement. I am pleased to announce that Adam Boehler will be my Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, with the personal rank of Ambassador. Adam worked for me as a Lead Negotiator on the Abraham Accords team.
