Hello America, Mark Levin, and this is Life, Liberty and Levin Saturday. Welcome to the program. You know, I'm going to do something a little differently this evening. I want to talk about the state of the nation because we hear a lot of negativity. The President of the United States and this administration does not get the credit it deserves. In fact, as I went through the news this evening, I looked at everything. They try to humiliate and embarrass the administration. They're trying to look for, you know, negative issues. They're trying to look for scandals, but they're not reporting the news. I want to talk about something that matters to you. How are we doing in this country? You know, for matters that affect you directly. We hear about affordability, but then they drop it. Well, I don't want to drop it. I want to talk about it. Under this president, under this president, a year and a half in office in his second term, salary increases and take-home pay are rising faster than consumer price inflation, which is way down. The annual inflation rate stabilized and cooled slightly to 3.4 percent in July of this year, down from 3.5 percent. Now think about that, 3.4, 3.5. You know, those are rates that we haven't had since the first Trump term. And before that, since like never. While price acceleration has flattened and month over month, consumer prices rose by a modest 0.1 percent. In other words, they didn't rise. Inflation rose to a 40-year peak of 9.1 percent in June 2022 under President Biden, averaging nearly 5 percent during his presidency. He also spent like a wild Marxist with that massive inflation reduction act, which had nothing to do with inflation except caused inflation. That was trillions of dollars of needless spending. During President Trump's second term, inflation cooled significantly to an average of roughly 2.6 to 2.7 percent. That's incredible if you really think about it. Let's take a look at something else that matters to you, home prices. Home prices have declined on an annual basis in more than half the country, reversing years of rapid increases and improving affordability for families and first-time buyers. Rent growth slowed by its lowest pace since President Trump's first term, with single-family rent growth hitting a record low. Income growth is now outpacing rent growth nationwide, returning the typical share of income spent on rent close to pre-pandemic levels. Have you ever heard this? Of course not. We've got Maggie Haberman on CNN. She's into rumors and all. They all are, but they don't report the news. This is news. Orders for business equipment posted their largest surge in more than six years, while shipments of machinery and equipment also shattering expectations, strong signals of expanding industrial capacity. Initial jobless claims plunged to their lowest level since 1969, highlighting the exceptional strength of the labor market, strong labor market, strong business investment. Inflation is almost non-existent. These are very, very important indicators of what's going on. What about gas prices, electricity prices, the availability of energy? The president has ramped up domestic fossil fuel and nuclear production. He has slashed so-called climate change rules. Here's some of his actions, expanding production. He reopened federal lands and offshore areas to oil and gas leasing and drilling, while accelerating permitting timelines for new pipelines and refineries. Remember the prior administration, that regime, they couldn't block and sabotage and prevent enough energy production, could they? They hated it. We love it. For example, restrictions on drilling in parts of Alaska's 23.5 million acre National Petroleum Reserve were revoked. And also, the EPA issued a waiver to end summer blend smog restrictions ahead of the schedule, allowing cheaper fuel blends to enter the market sooner and increasing daily supply. Jones Act waivers, what's that? Well, the administration issued temporary 60-day waivers to the Jones Acts to ease domestic shipping restrictions and streamline fuel distribution. You can see the effort is to help the consumer. It is a constant effort with regulations, with taxes, with businesses, to push an agenda, a pro-growth energy agenda. And it's crucial, because without energy, without energy of all kinds, in all places, our economy can expand and we can't create wealth and prosperity. Reconsideration of regulations throttling the oil and gas industry. Reconsideration of mandatory greenhouse gas reporting program that imposed significant costs on the American energy supply. Reconsideration of limitations, guidelines, and standards for the steam electric power generating industry to ensure low-cost electricity while protecting water resources. Man, oh man, I'll tell you, in these blue states, with these degrothers and no-grothers, they're doing the opposite. They're sabotaging you. Mr. and Mrs. America, if you live in these blue states and cities, they're driving up. They're driving up the cost of all levels of energy and they're reducing the availability. So if you wonder why you have really high costs in some of these dark blue states, you can thank your governor and you can thank your state legislatures. Reconsideration of waste water regulations for oil and gas development to help unleash American energy. What about taking steps to make home ownership more affordable under this president? Hire salt cap, what's that? The president and the Republicans raised the state and local tax cap, which includes property taxes, from $10,000 to $40,000. This is money directly in your pocket. And for tax years 2025 to 2029, for itemized filers. Permanent mortgage limit, locked in the $750,000 limit on deductible mortgage debt, $375,000 for single filers, stopping it from reverting to $1 million. In other words, they want to make sure that you can deduct as much as possible. Mortgage insurance, restructured and permanently reinstated private mortgage insurance, that's PMI premiums, as deductible, deductible mortgage interest starting in 2026. The president made it easier to buy American made new cars and trucks on July 4, 2025, creating a temporary federal tax deduction for up to $10,000 a year in auto loan interest on new American personal use cars and light trucks under 14,000 pounds with final assembly in the United States. Houses, salaries, income, cars, trucks, energy. The federal government is doing everything it can under this president. I've never seen anything like it, quite frankly. Any of you take prescription drugs? Well, most of you do. And you should be seeing lower prices. I know I am. I certainly am when I'm going to the pharmacy. And this is what he's done. The President Trump announced agreements with major pharmaceutical companies to lower prescription drug prices for Americans in line with the lowest prices paid by other developed nations, known as the most favorite nation's price. The nine manufacturers, I won't name them all, but they're big and most of the drugs you get are from them. The agreements reduce prices on drugs that treat numerous costly and chronic conditions, a whole list of them. Pulmonary heart disease, asthma, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, two types of diabetes, and it goes on and on. Now, the agreements will provide that every state Medicaid program in the country access the most favored nation drug prices on products made by those nine major drug companies, resulting in billions of dollars in savings to you, Mr. and Mrs. America. Now, has another president done that? No. Did the prior president do that? No. Did the Democrats do that? No. Trump did it. The agreements require the nine companies to offer medicines at a deeper discount off the list price when selling directly to American patients through TrumpRX. You ought to take advantage of TrumpRX. More. What about tax cuts for families? Federal tax cuts. Raised and locked in the higher standard deduction levels originally set in 2017 for the vast majority of individual followers. Lower income tax rates. Maintained lower marginal income tax brackets across the board, across the board, not just billionaires and millionaires as the as the chattering classes would have you believe for everybody. Child tax credit extended and boosted the double child tax credit benefiting tens of millions of American families. No tax on tips created a federal income tax deduction for qualified service and beauty industry tips. No tax on overtime implemented dedicated deductions for eligible overtime pay. Senior relief provided enhanced tax deductions and targeted relief for Social Security income retirees. What about businesses and corporations that create the private sector jobs? Corporate tax rate maintained the lowest 21% corporate income tax rate enacted by his first term policies. Immediate expensing extended provisions letting businesses immediately deduct the cost of factory construction and short term equipment investments. Now this is a lot of information because the President has done a lot and I want you to be aware of this. I do this monologue about 20 minutes and I'm going to get as much of this in as I can so you understand when people say he's not focused on affordability. He's all about affordability. That's what his whole domestic agenda is about. Affordability. Paid leave tax credit made permanent the employee tax credit for offering employee paid families medical leave savings and investment provisions. Trump accounts established tax deferred $1,000 government seed investments and saving pathways for children born between 2024 and 2028 to use for education or first. You realize if you take advantage of that that your children will have a significant amount of money saved up tax free for them as a result of these tax these Trump tax accounts. It's just incredible. Expanded 529 accounts broadened allowable uses of education savings accounts to include K through 12 materials and post-secondary trade credentials. It's pretty incredible and about what about the lifestyle you have? What about the ability to live in a free society without being mugged and raped and murdered? Well, that can't be perfect. Obviously there are evil people out there, but there are efforts that can be taken to reduce it and the President has grabbed every single one of them. Violet crime plunged 9.3% in 2025. These are FBI statistics. The largest annual decline on record. Murder dropped 18.1% tying the lowest rate in recorded history. This is for 2025. Robbery fell 18.5% resulting in nearly 38,500 fewer robberies. Rape declined 7.6% resulting in more than 10,000 fewer victims. Aggravated assault fell 7.2% resulting in over 62,700 fewer attacks. Property crime dropped 12.4%, the second largest decline in history, with nearly 750,000 fewer offenses. Meanwhile, preliminary data for the first half of this year shows the decline continuing and deepening with violent crime down an additional 10.6%, murder down another 23%, rape down 18.6%, and robberies down 19.6% compared to the same time period last year. Nearly 54,000 violent crime arrests, up 90%, including more than 31,000 violent crimes and gang members, up 30%. More than 5,000 child predators and human traffickers arrested, up 13%. More than 11,000 child victims located and identified, up 21%. Record disruptions across criminal, cyber, counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence, international operations, taking down hundreds of cyber criminal enterprises, espionage rings, and terrorist networks. Again, this is from the FBI. Let's move quickly. There's a lot that this president's doing and has done. Immigration. The U.S. had negative net immigration in 2025 for the first time in at least half a century. Compare that to Biden, when we had all those pictures of tens of thousands of people rushing the border. The president has deported more than 605,000 illegal aliens with an additional 1.9 million self-deporting. 1.9 million self-deporting, bringing the total number of illegals who have left the U.S. since the president returned to office to 2.5 million. He stopped more than 10,000 individuals with narco-terrorism ties from entering the United States. Daily detention numbers and arrests have reached record numbers. Border crossings and encounters with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have dropped significantly compared to prior years. ICE. I love ICE. I love ICE with my Diet Coke and I love ICE, period, with our government, and I want to thank each and every person in ICE. Thank you. ICE significantly ramped up hiring and personnel capacities backed by billions of new congressional appropriations. Trump administration terminated temporary protective status for a variety of dangerous third world countries, rescued more than 60,000 migrant children from sex trafficking and child labor. State Department paused immigrant visa processing for 75 countries whose migrants take welfare from the American people and unacceptable rate. And since returning to office in 2025, President Trump has drastically reshaped U.S. immigration policy through hundreds of executive actions, massive funding bills like the one big beautiful bill, and a government-wide push for widespread interior enforcement and border restrictions. The U.S. Border Patrol has documented unprecedented changes in illegal border crossings throughout 2025, meaning they have cratered, cratered illegal immigration coming into this country. With southwest border apprehensions reaching historic lows not seen in decades, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol's CBP reports that July 2025 marked another record-breaking month with the most secure border in history, achieving only 4,598 southwest border apprehensions, nearly 500 fewer than June's previous. And it goes on. Safer, illegal immigration almost ended. The president is using every tool he has as a president to address housing issues, energy issues, all these other issues. And yet here we have in our states, here we have in our states with the highest grocery prices, Hawaii, Alaska, California, Washington, and Vermont. Almost all Democrat states, in the case of Alaska, it transitions from Republican to Democrat back and forth. But it's far away. But some of these states, there's no excuse. Highest gasoline prices, Blue State, California, Blue State, Hawaii, Blue State, Washington State. And you have Alaska and Nevada, who are on the cusp. But nonetheless, states with the highest electricity bills, well, D.C., not a state, but there it is. Number one, New Jersey, number two, New Hampshire, number three, Maryland, number four, and then Ohio. Four out of five, Blue States. States with the highest annual cost for infant care, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, California, Minnesota, Colorado, Hawaii, all Democrat states. Top least affordable states by cost of living index. Number one, California, number two, New York, number three, Washington State. Number four, Connecticut, number five, Maryland, number six, New Jersey, number seven, Alaska, number eight, Massachusetts. All dark, blue, hardcore Democrat states. All of them. And then we have, according to the Cato Institute, the five least free states. New York, Hawaii, California, New Jersey, Oregon. All Democrat states. So, you know, I would say to my Republican friends who are running and with this midterm coming, you need to frame these discussions a little better. You need to get out there and confidently go on the offense and point out if you live in a dark blue state or a dark blue congressional district, you're paying more than anybody else in red states and dark red districts. Whether it's property taxes, whether it's income taxes, whether it's user fees, whether it's crossing bridges and they charge you a fee, whatever it is. The food prices, the child care prices, they're through the roof in dark blue states. And the interesting thing is when you put these numbers together with the red states, then you get these national numbers, right? So the blue states are dragging down the country. The blue cities are dragging down the country. When you look at the data, they're dragging down the data. And yet when you look at the Trump data and what Trump is doing, it's incredible. Even in the face of these obstacles from these blue governors, these blue mayors, these blue legislatures, look at what he's doing and look at the accomplishments.

of having free and fair elections, and it makes them impossible. So look, I think that there's only one legitimate reason to oppose this. I have yet to hear a legitimate argument against the bill, which begs the question, do they really just want to make it easy to vote so badly that they're willing or even enthusiastic to just make it easier to cheat? So far, the congressional Democrats have, by and large, focused on arguments that are a combination of being ill-founded, relying on blatant mischaracterizations of the statutory text itself, including and especially the text beginning on page 12, line 22, and following on to the following page, easing the documentary requirements for a group of citizenship, making it so easy. It's much easier than filling out your I-9 form where you start a new job with a new employer, or you're required to prove your citizenship if, in fact, you're an American. If you're not an American citizen, you're going to have to produce a visa showing that you are eligible to work. But we make it easier than that. We make it so easy, in fact, that even if all of your citizenship documentation papers have disappeared because your house burned out, your dog ate them, your crazy aunt Madge came and stole them and took them to the dump for some inexplicably reason, or maybe you never had them, you can still go to a state election official, swear out of it.

Hello America, I'm Mark Levin, and this is Life, Liberty, and Levin Saturday. Welcome to the program. You know, President Trump has done something no president dared to do in the last half century. He, with our ally Israel, and their great Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has destroyed the Iranian regime's military, the immediate nuclear threat, and most of the missile systems which were used to terrorize surrounding nations. If I told you that would have been accomplished in a few days, or even a few weeks, you wouldn't have believed me. And yet for some reason we act like this hasn't been a spectacular military success. That said, the knowledge on how to develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs, along with assistance from countries like China, Russia, and North Korea, and the internal militia and security forces of Iran, seem to ensure that sometime in the future, Iran will be able to reconstruct these weapons systems, rebuild its military, and internally increase its mass murder of even the most peaceful voices of dissent. So what do you do after you defeat an enemy's military and take out the top tier of their leadership? What do you do? Because that's where we are. Well, let's first look at what we said we will not do. No ground troops. Why? Because there's virtually no political will in our country to send ground troops into Iran. And I would argue there's no need to send in our ground troops for reasons I'll explain in a moment. President Trump has not only led a historic military victory against Iran, but he has asserted control over the Strait of Hormuz. Thereby controlling Iran's ability to sell its oil and choke the Iranian economy in hopes of forcing the regime to make a deal or collapse. Those are two very distinct objectives. To make a deal or collapse. So the question is which is preferable? So let's dig into this further. If the goal is to take down the regime, two of three most important conditions have already been achieved. The destruction of virtually its entire military capacity and economic control over their economy. These are two historic successes on their own. If the goal is to get a deal, the issue is not only what kind of deal, but can the deal stick? That is, how do we know if the enemy will adhere to the terms of a deal, especially after President Trump leaves office? Well, let's look at the Iranian regime's record. Rather than recounting the scores of examples, evidence, if you will, that the regime has violated every deal it has ever signed with any international organization, any country, or any group of countries, there simply is no evidence that the regime has ever honored any deal. Even the Obama nuclear disastrous deal, which ensured that Iran would have a nuclear weapon within 10 to 12 years of its signing, was violated by the Iranian regime, even though it would hand them nuclear weapons effectively. Why would the Iranian regime violate a deal that ensures it would have nuclear weapons in a decade or so? Because it felt no obligation to adhere to any deal, and it wanted to develop nuclear weapons to break out as fast as it could. So to be clear, even a deal in which the Iranian regime would in fact be able to secure nuclear weapons was violated by the Iranian regime repeatedly and in scores of ways. Monitoring, unannounced inspections, and the like were all eventually defied by the Iranian regime. So it's important to understand the ideological mindset of who and what we're dealing with. They're not of a Western mindset. The regime has learned from past experience with our country and with the current opposition in our country, from the Democrats, the media, and the radical isolationists, that all they need to do is wait us out. We have an election in November and they see that election as possible, if not likely, to change our government, at least one part of it. That is, with the election of Democrats in the House, for example, they know that that party stands for appeasement, radical pacifism, and isolationism. They've heard what they have to say, they have heard what their media have to say, and they also know that the Democrat Party will try to undermine President Trump, including his foreign policy, and especially in Iran, where the Democrats actually funded the regime and its war-making power under the Biden administration. Even more, they watch these debates over the War Powers Act, articles of impeachment against the Secretary of War, then declarations of impeachment against the President should the Democrats win the House, based in large part on what the Democrats falsely claim as constitutional and legal violations, and they claim that this is a war of choice, that it is a blunder, and that it is an illegal war. So the Iranians say, let's just hang in there. If the Democrats take the House, that's an American regime change, and if the Democrats take the presidency, wow, we're free to roll. Three years hence, if a Democrat is elected president, the Iranian regime figures it's no longer bound by the terms of any agreement, no matter how great the terms, because it simply will not be enforced, and we won't have the stomach to enforce it militarily, will we? You have a courageous president who's taking actions, who's ignoring the polls and doing what's right for the security of this nation in the world. Unfortunately, that's rare. The Iranian regime also knows there's a Marxist-Islamist alliance and presence in our country, and in fact, the Iranian regime is a Marxist-Islamist technological regime, and they and their allies helped fund it in our country and around the world, and it's very loud, and it's very violent, and it has the Democrat Party by the throat. And it, along with the neo-fascist isolationists, the neo-fascist isolationists will claim that Israel is behind any effort to enforce an agreement with Iran, and Israel is dragging us into another war. We hear it now, right? We cannot ignore the dark storm clouds of anti-Semitism that are now hanging over our country and have a strong foothold in the Democrat Party, the media, the academia, and this radical isolationism. Then there is the ideology of the Iranian regime, which, remember, is a worldwide Islamist revolution. That's its belief. Again, it is a Marxist-Islamist, worldwide revolutionary movement. As the Blair Institute has said, just like communism, a state was never the objective of the revolution. The organs of the Iranian state served the revolution, not the other way around, and the end goal of the revolution was never a state. It was the expansion of the revolution. The revolution does not exist to perfect the state. The state, or in this case the so-called Republic of Iran, is simply a means to support and perfect the revolution. Where the two conflict, the revolution is prioritized. This is something people in the West, in our country, simply don't seem to be able to get their heads around. They go on the failure of the administration of former US President Barack Obama and the new European External Action Service, the EEAS, to properly read Iran's intentions and their persistence in viewing Iranian political developments through the prism of Iran's relations with the West, severely constrained the Western negotiating position. This is key for any deal, any negotiation. To not understand that you're negotiating with a revolutionary Marxist-Islamist movement that seeks to destroy the West, at all costs, at any costs, even in their own disruption, is to completely misconstrue and misunderstand what you're negotiating with and what you're up against. This is not a nation-state negotiating with a nation-state. It is a nation-state, the United States of America, negotiating with a revolutionary audiology that seeks global dominance. And they go on to explain that these agreements with the Iranian regime do more to tie the hands of the West than the hands of the regime, which feels no obligation to adhere to any agreement with the West. And this has consequences, as an example. If we make a deal with Iran, does that mean Israel can't defend itself against Hezbollah? Are we going to have a situation where the Iranian regime survives, Hezbollah survives, and Hamas survives? Is this all being taken into consideration? Let's hope so. Okay, so you say, Mark, okay, well, what if there's no deal, or if a deal short of the unconditional surrender that we had mentioned earlier? And if you're not going to send the ground troops to destroy the regime, well, then what are you going to do? This is where I turned a more recent history in what I call the third leg of victory. In addition to the historic military and economic actions, there must be steps taken to destroy the regime internally. After all, the Iranian regime has an elaborate police state, an internal security force that is armed and well-trained and is critical to the revolution. In fact, the regime has been importing militia from Iraq and elsewhere to reinforce its internal security force. So what do we do about this? We can't defeat it from the skies. We can't defeat it from the seas. We can't defeat it alone by economically choking them off. Even though some people have suggested that. The way we have dealt with this in the past, during the Reagan administration and as part of the Reagan Doctrine, as I've explained here now, three or four weeks in a row, is to train and arm the people. And in Iran, you have millions and millions of people who are desperate to overthrow the regime, who are courageous, tens of thousands who have died. What other proof do they have to provide?

Opponents of the Iran strike are whining that we're depleting our munition reserves. Well, not nearly as much as China's depleted theirs. This attack showed China two things. One, our military is way stronger than they thought. And two, China had put a lot of their air defenses, a lot of their resources and weaponry in Venezuela and Iran. And we took it out in a day. The smokescreen of the military might of China was decimated in the first 20 hours.

I mean, you look at the numbers, the growth in the third quarter now at almost four and a half percent, projected for the fourth, that was the third quarter, fourth quarter up to 5.3, according to the Atlanta Fed. And they're looking at over 6% in Q1 for growth with inflation, kind of staying where it is. It's extraordinary. Vice President Vance gave a speech in Toledo today before he went up to Minnesota and he laid out these numbers. They are extraordinary numbers. The wages are catching up with Biden inflation and they're going to pass Biden inflation this year. It's going to be a boom year and I'm not worried about November until June. By June, the president's got to be focused like a laser. Right now, he's got to be focused on world security. His number one job is to protect the nation. He's doing that very well. And I think he's also bringing peace to the Middle East. Some voters will ignore that. A lot of voters won't.

- President Trump got elected to lower energy prices, re-industrialize America, bring jobs and opportunity back to our country, and peace abroad. And he is pursuing that agenda aggressively. And energy plays a big part in that. You know, the last four years, we saw over a 25% rise in electricity prices, but no increase in the production of electricity. Now we have the AI race in full steam that we cannot lose. We must stay ahead of China. And what does it take to win an AI? A lot more American energy. So we're gonna grow American energy production of all forms across the country, keep electricity prices in check, and stay ahead and win the AI race.

President Trump is a businessman. Thank God he became elected president. And what we're seeing right now is a master negotiator practicing his craft. He got elected to lower costs and grow opportunities for Americans, and he is working feverishly, seven days a week at that, bringing in other businessmen, having dialogue, some of which you see in public, most of which are happening behind closed scenes. But I could not be more optimistic. 50 days into this administration, we've seen simply tremendous achievements, and wait till you see what happens in the next 50 days.

The shift that you're seeing, I think, in the foreign policy of the United States of America is a shift to realism, right? Like, the idea that the United States of America has core national interests, protecting the homeland, and China is our chief adversary. The American taxpayers are tapped out of this war in Ukraine. So, again, President Trump campaigned on the idea of bringing peace. That's what he's trying to do. I do find it interesting, Caitlin, though, that the people who are screaming about this the loudest call President Trump a dictator all the time. Like, the American media is so willing to criticize President Trump. Let's say the American media here. I've never called Trump a dictator. Well, I've heard it for two years. That's an unfair criticism. But on this... I don't think so. I mean, on this very network, call them a threat to democracy a thousand times.

But I still think America is feeling more hopeful this holiday. People are breathing a sigh of relief. When you spend a year in prison in New York or under, you serve in Rikers Island. Okay? Ooh, the audience goes. I love watching these clips now. Thank God this Thanksgiving that Americans did not fall for that twisted and wishful thinking, including, by the way, young people. We should be so grateful to voters 30 and under who turned out for Trump in numbers we haven't seen since Reagan. It turns out, young people, they don't want to go through another four years of declining opportunities and high prices. Why should they? Today, they're giving Donald Trump's transition handling a staggering 65 percent approval. And, by the way, not just young people, more Hispanic and African-American voters turned out for Trump and tuned out the lies. They see MAGA more as an opportunity and not as a threat. And, thank God, enough Americans are over Obama as well. We do not need four years of a wannabe king, a wannabe dictator running around trying to punish his enemies. And, speaking of talents past their expiration date, I want to thank God that Oprah is going to somehow squeak by this holiday season with the paltry payday her production company made from Kamala's campaign, Poor Baby. And thank the good Lord for the voting public who put Donald Trump over the top and who are still happy with their choice. A new Emerson poll shows 54 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Donald Trump now. That is a record high for him. Now, the list of what we should be grateful for goes on and on. Now, remember, some of the so-called political experts warned that candidate Trump should stick to the economy and the border and stay away from the culture war issues. Well, as usual, Trump relied on his gut, and he ignored their advice. We will get critical race theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our schools. We will keep men out of women's sports. That's like a no brainer. And it turns out we can be very thankful that it looks like Trump broke woke. The largest retailer in the United States is dumping its diversity, equity and inclusion charade. Walmart is pulling back on diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Why the changes? What we're trying to do is to ensure that every customer, every associate feels welcome here to shop and to feel like they belong. And we're going to continue to make the best decisions we can that makes everyone, our customers, our associates feel like this is an environment they can shop in and thrive in. All right. That's a really long-winded way of saying we're listening to our consumers now who think woke is a joke. Trump doesn't just know how to read the room, people. He reads the country. Case in point, his announcement yesterday that he's planning significant tariffs to crack down on fentanyl and other border related issues. Thank God. Now, remember, tariffs are to free trade absolutists what sunshine is to vampires, but real people see their utility and the leverage that tariffs provide. According to that same CBS news poll, 52% of Americans support using tariffs on imported goods. Smart. Trump now has everyone's attention and suddenly I predict we're going to see even fewer migrants and less fentanyl coming across the border. More on China's blustery response later on in the show. And we'd be remiss on the angle in not being supremely grateful for Elon Musk, not only for his generous support of Trump in the final months of the campaign, and that was generous, but for his foresight in buying Twitter. I think it's a very tough call about whether or not Republicans could have won without him and X. Free speech won the day and the election and deranged never Trumpers who urged that Trump be censored and they were into pushed Musk and others like RFK and Tulsi Gabbard and Nicole Shanahan out of the Democrat party and into the Trump coalition. And of course, there would be no coalition without Trump himself, the master communicator. President Trump, I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either. Look, Trump, the fighter, Trump, the pragmatist, Trump, the peacemaker. I will end the war in Ukraine, which would have never started if I was president. And I will stop the chaos in the Middle East. And of course, Trump, the meme generator. He makes politics fun again. And shouldn't we start taking that whole pursuit of happiness thing seriously at this point? I think sometimes as conservatives, and it's true, we're always on the lookout for the traps, the obstacles, the challenges, the potholes, the landmines. But this should be a time for hope. We have achieved amazing victories this year, victories that few predicted in January 2021, not even I. And now we have an incredible opportunity, the best in decades, to build a better world for our children and our grandchildren and expand this coalition to all 50 states. And speaking of kids, I am really thankful for my children, Maria, Dimitri, and Nico. Yeah, teenagers drive me crazy, of course, but what would life be without that kind of crazy? with me now the 5 co-hosts judge Jeanine Pirro, a former New York State judge and district attorney, a ton of experience with all of this. There's another picture of Jeanine. It's another life. How are you? Good to have you here today. So what's your reaction to Judge Rishon moving? You are? I am stunned. Look, this is a judge who at every turn ruled against Donald Trump. This is a judge who allowed prejudicial evidence to come in, evidence that had nothing to do with the underlying charge. And speaking of the underlying charge, most of it is expired pursuant to the statute of limitations, bootstrapped and resurrected by another crime that the jury didn't have to really identify. And there's a lot of hearsay and there's some privileged information. Then in the interim is a Supreme Court decision that came out in July that said, hey, you know, you have to separate immunity or immunize and privilege testimony from the underlying essence of the crimes in this case. And now all of a sudden Judge Rishon is saying, well, I don't want to be political here. I think it's time that we took, you know, took note of the fact that we're in a presidential election season. Are you kidding me? This is a political decision made by a judge who said, you know what, this is a close election. I'm not going to give Donald Trump any kind of advantage here. That's my interpretation based upon a judge who did everything he could. Even the verdict sheet in this case is not, you don't, you can't understand it. I've never seen anything like it. And so now suddenly the DA, Martha agrees, the DA says, we're not going to object to his sentencing. They want to throw him in jail, but they know that this is a case that will that will go in Trump's favor and they don't want that to happen. So this is Alvin Bragg. There's so many cases that we've been keeping straight, but this was, this was the hush money case. And you remember that Alvin Bragg basically took something that was beyond the statute of limitations and extrapolated it into, I think 34 counts. It was in the end, which had people outraged back then. Do you think that they are now looking at this situation and that they got cold feet? I mean, at one point, Marshawn did say back in the courtroom, you know, it's not lost on me that I have someone here who may be the next president of the United States. Do you think that they just said, you know what, we don't, we don't really want this on our shoulders. Well, I think that it is inevitable that this case will be reversed. And I think that maybe Marshawn did everything he had to do, that he allowed in testimony regarding a crime that nobody knows what it was. And that in the end, they will be able to say that Donald Trump is a convicted felon. He's been convicted on 34 counts, but you know what, we're going to delay this sentencing because maybe if they had this sentencing and Donald Trump took an appeal, depending upon how quickly the appellate court wanted to rule on this, I mean, this is an important case where exigent circumstances would require an appellate court to take it up immediately. They don't want to be slapped down either. So I mean, there are so many avenues here in this case, but the one thing that is so essential to understand, Martha, is that every turn was against Donald Trump. Now all of a sudden we're clean. We don't want to get involved in anything political. It's a presidential election season and we're going to, we're going to just adjourn the sentencing until after election. And by the way, Jack Smith got a superseding indictment, right? Georgia's nowhere at that case. We don't know even know who the prosecutor is. You were Sean doesn't want to be hanging alone on this where he's definitely going to be slapped. Let me ask you this, which is a purely political question about all of this, because there was clearly a big rush in all these cases. Jack Smith wanted his cases, which were January 6th in the documents case, which got thrown out by the judge in Florida. They wanted all this to happen before the election. Do you think that the fact that Kamala Harris is now the candidate has made them cool their heels a little bit, that they're less worried about a second president Trump term? They may look at it and say, you know, the, the, it looks tight. And that's why I go back to the political that this little bit where if you put or sentence of someone running for president on house arrest or whatever confinement, the country will go crazy. We are a Republic. We are, this is the United States. You don't put someone running for president in jail or house confined about November 26th when we'll know, I mean, whether he's the next president or he is not, or he loses the election. Will there be a sentencing then they will have to make a decision first on the immunity part of this based on the Supreme court's decision that will then be appealed. And then they would probably go to a sentencing. But here's the thing. If he's president, they can't put him in jail at that point. Okay. Because he's got to run the country. Yeah. You know, there's a lot of, a lot of avenues on this one, but I've never seen them say, we don't want to be political now. Yeah. You know, we're, we're within two months of this election. So this obviously would have had a big bearing on it. It may have helped Trump if he was sentenced every single move along the way here, the more he was persecuted by the legal system, the more it helped him. But this one is off the table for now. Yes, because they're so deeply invested in this lawfare because they believe that it was going to neutralize Donald Trump as a political force in 2024, and it's only strengthened him. And it's not just this one case statement that has completely outraged us with no crime. Donald Trump didn't do anything wrong. It's all of the cases put together, got these four cases, 91 counts, up to 700 years in prison. The average American goes, "Oh, come on. This pylon is completely unjustified, and it's all because Donald Trump simply wanted to make America great again. This is absolutely ludicrous." And so the backlash has been very politically potent, not in the way the left wanted, but in favor of Donald. And if they had their way, they would have done all.

In other words, the case that was brought against Donald Trump should never have been brought. There shouldn't have been a sentencing hearing. There shouldn't have been fines. There shouldn't have been anything. This case against Donald Trump is a greater, more gray violation than anything we've ever seen under the excessive fines part of the Eighth Amendment and much worse than the Timbs case. The case brought against President Trump violates over 800 years of history of Western Enlightenment and the law dating back to the Magna Carta. President Trump's case is much stronger than anything before, much stronger than the Timbs case that the court ruled on. Why? The prosecutor for the state, Letitia James, campaigned for office on the platform of destroying Donald Trump. Her statements are now evidence of her intent and motivation in any appeal and central to the violations of the Eighth Amendment. Two, the state consumer fraud statute used against President Trump has never been used this way against anybody else in the history of the statute by the state of New York, ever. It's been used against him and his family. The Associated Press reviewed nearly, and I report as they report, 150 reported cases under the statute used to punish Mr. Trump and stated that nearly every previous time a company was taken away, victims and losses were key factors. Customers had lost money or brought defective products or never received services ordered, leaving them cheated and angry. Actual fraud, harm, detrimental reliance. Those are the three elements of fraud. No one was defrauded here. No one was harmed. No proof of detrimental reliance. None of them exist. Also, no testimony by anybody who lost anything. No complaint filed by any bank, by any insurance company, by any lender. In fact, the testimony was to the contrary. Now, there was no trial. There was no jury. Wow. Sounds like pre-1215, if you ask me. The judge ruled on the papers and he ruled that Donald Trump was guilty. And that was that. All the back and forth, all the hearings were about the fines and the penalties. Before Donald Trump stepped into that courtroom, he was guilty, according to this Democrat elected judge. I want you to think about that. When President Trump walked into that courtroom, he was already adjudicated guilty. The judge in the case, an elected Democrat like the prosecutor, an elected Democrat, had made earlier statements in other settings, very negative about Donald Trump, that should have caused him to recuse himself. But obviously, he didn't. None of them do in any of the cases where we know that they're biased against Trump. And I'm going beyond the fact that what this judge should have ruled immediately is, Madam Attorney General, you have no case under the Timbs case. And you have no case because a case like this has never been brought. You're talking about a former president of the United States. You're talking about a candidate for president of the United States. You're talking about a man who built the skyline in New York City. And you're bringing me a cockamamie case. Next thing you know, you'll bring the Ku Klux Klan case. Oh, wait a minute. They already did that in Washington. And what does the judge do? He orders nearly half a billion dollars in fines and interest, orders President Trump and his sons to turn his business over to the state, effectively the state of New York, to be managed by another former prosecutor of his choosing. Latisha James, the state prosecutor, she's made the rounds on the Sunday shows bragging about what she accomplished, bragging about how she upheld her campaign promise. So Trump properties, she says now, if he doesn't come up with four hundred million dollars, what is effectively bond in order to have the privilege of appealing the decision by this judge and the actions by the state government. She will seize the properties and sell them from under him. Sell them from under him at pennies on the dollar. Think about this. You know what this is? From her campaign statements, from the judge's prior statements, from the use of a statute that's never been used this way against anybody else in the history of New York, the lack of a trial, the lack of a jury, a decision on the papers, and all the rest of it. This is a prima facie case of a violation of the Eighth Amendment. It's not even a close case. The state prosecuting judge had to know in 2019 the Supreme Court ruled that this kind of state action was absolutely, unequivocally, unconstitutional, a violation of the Bill of Rights under the Fourteenth Amendment's due process clause. The judge even said, "President Trump," in his statement, "I'm doing what's close to the maximum, if not the maximum, because you didn't show remorse. You didn't bend your knee. You didn't kiss the hand of the state, that is, the hand of the king. So we're stealing your property out from under you. We're stealing it, and we're going to sell it if we have to, and you'll have no recourse." No recourse? What did Ruth Bader Ginsburg say in her opinion? "Nine to zero," the Supreme Court ruled, "that other liberties are affected, other liberties are affected, when a king, when a tyrant, when a dictator, when a state, when the federal government treats citizens this way. There is absolutely no legitimate basis of any kind, legally, factually, for what was done here, except to steal the property from Donald Trump to try and bankrupt him, because he's Donald Trump, because he's a former president, because he's running for president, and they're doing the dirty work of the Democrat Party and the Biden regime, the new king." We're less than three weeks away from the Iowa caucuses, so how are battleground state voters feeling ahead of the 2024 race? Joining us now are three business owners, Iowa voter Penny Carroll, Georgia voter John German and Arizona voter Jorge Rivas. Great to have you all with us. Thank you so much. Jorge, I'm going to start with you and the great state of Arizona. We take a look in 2020 and we can see Joe Biden won Arizona by a very small margin, 49.4% to Trump's 49.1%. He won Georgia by a small margin. Trump was able to pull it out in Iowa. As we go into 2024, we're thinking about the big issues. These are very, very close races and they probably will be very close again if we've got the same two candidates on the ticket. So what are the things that are driving you to the polls, the issues that you care about right now and how the candidates that are out there stack up on them? I say business owner, I really care what's happening because right after Joe Biden took office, everything doubled in price after he shut down the oil production, price of gasoline went up and we know that once that gasoline goes up, everything goes up and our prices have gone, have doubled, some items have tripled. So far for a small restaurant like ours, which is what they call a mom and pop restaurant, for us it's very difficult because our bar line is being pushed down, you know, and we cannot, we cannot afford to keep like this. And for people, for Americans that really care about this country, they need to realize that Joe Biden, not only in 2020, his mental decline was already bad. I mean, by now, three years later, four years later, the poor guy can barely walk. I mean, how dare you people out there who call themselves American are really, you know, trying to think or thinking of voting for someone who cannot even, you know, walk, let alone think, let alone lead the greatest country in the world. Some people, let's be real, you know, let's care for our kids, for our future. Yep. Good point. So I'm not very, I mean, I'm very looking forward to voting for someone who really loved and has the capacity to lead this nation and keep it as great as it has been for so many years. Yep. I was there just a couple of months ago talking to voters, and I was actually surprised to hear how much the border was on their minds. I know that's a big issue for you as well, Penny. Talk about why that's motivating you in this election cycle. It's huge. Why not let Donald Trump come back and finish the job that he was going to do and protect our borders? I would say that probably the majority of us lock our doors at night before we go to bed. But we're hearing reporters, we're hearing reports of all these busloads of people coming into Washington, D.C., into Chicago. And it is affecting our business. In some ways, it's affecting it in a good way because people from California, from Minnesota are coming to the Midwest to live because it's safe. But yeah, borders is number one for me. All right, Penny. Thank you so much. I want to bring it over to John, who's from Georgia. John, we have all three of you are business owners, we know, and you represent the majority of business, which is small business owners. The economy, border security, all important. When you look at the candidates for you, John, who is the pull away for you? And if it is Donald Trump, which I think it is, is there anyone else that's grabbing your attention at this point? You know, quite frankly, I'm a Trump supporter. I'm not afraid to admit it like a lot of other people are. I like what he has to offer. I really enjoy what he did in his last term in office as far as getting gas prices down. Everything was manageable and as soon as Biden and the Democrats came into power, they really kind of went out of their way just to really ruin a whole lot of good things for the American people. Not for the good enough for the benefit of anybody. Maybe for, you know, maybe their donors or people like that, you know, every normal, everyday work in Americans kind of like me, we're having to suffer through absurdly high gas prices, absurdly high inflation rates, constantly having to battle high prices for everything with no end in sight. There's no plan. Biden and his cohorts and the Democrat Party in general, if I can go ahead and say that, they don't really care about people like me and people like Jorge, who work hard for their families. We're a mom and pop shop as well. It's just my wife and I who own and operate this business. We built it from the ground up and, you know, it's just ridiculous how we're just looked over basically like, hey, they're having to pay, you know, $300 a week in gas just like and pull my food trailer here, there and everywhere. Well, that's not taking a consideration. You know, the price of my raw materials, the price of food has gone up. I don't have to tell anybody that once the last time Biden or any of his pals went out to the grocery store, bought food for themselves and their family and been like, man, this is really high. It's a good question because when meat prices were rising, he couldn't tell you what a pound of ground beef cost at the grocery store. And you make a great point. because he doesn't go to the grocery store and Hunter doesn't have to worry about the price of ground beef.

I want to thank you, Colonel Kemp, what exactly is going on with Iran and why should America be concerned about it? Well, America should be deeply concerned and the whole world should be just as concerned because what is about to happen, I believe, and obviously we don't know yet when or precisely if, but what looks very likely is that President Biden is about to go into an even worse nuclear deal with Iran than President Obama struck with Iran, and that deal, as you alluded to, was very, very dangerous, essentially rubber-stamping Iran's ability to become a nuclear state. And now Biden is going even further than that. He's making the situation which was bad much, much worse, because under the Obama deal, for example, the Iranians were limited to significantly less than 5% enrichment of nuclear material. Now, since the Obama days, Iran has now enriched up to 60%, 60%, and that 60% is the bottom level that Biden's going to allow, so he's going to allow enrichment to 60%, which is a very short hop, a very, very short hop in terms of technical capability and time to get to the extent required for full weaponization. And what happened before, as I'm sure your viewers will recall, is that President Trump recognized that the Obama deal was terrible, was, you know, paving the way for Iran's nuclear weapons, and he ended it, and he ended it and imposed maximum pressure sanctions on Iran, which kept them suppressed, and it kept the enrichment levels down at 5% or below. Since President Biden has taken office, he's eased up on that right from the very beginning. He's eased up on sanctions. He's allowed illegal oil experts from Iran, contrary to US law, contrary to international law. He's allowed all that to go ahead, and he's allowed Iran to enrich from the level of 5%, which was a maximum under Trump, to 60% now. And now what he's saying is, effectively, you can do pretty much whatever you want. You can carry on building weapons. You can carry on with all other aspects of your nuclear program, including ballistic missiles program. You can effectively carry on with your terrorism around the region. You just can't enrich over 60%, and a reward for that, our reward for that is we're going to unfreeze $20 billion worth of frozen Iranian assets immediately with more to follow, probably hundreds of billions of dollars more to follow, and that's going to enable Iran to work even harder on their nuclear program. It's going to enable Iran to continue supplying vast stocks of drones and in future ballistic missiles to Russia to attack Ukraine, because Iran not only threatens the Middle East and the world with their nuclear program, they also are part and party to Russia's war on Ukraine, being the main weapons supplier to Russia. And all of these things effectively are going to be facilitated by President Biden's deal, which is effectively a capitulation to Iranian blackmail. It's surrendering to Iran. It follows in a series of foreign policy disgraces by the Biden administration, starting with the humiliation of the United States over the withdrawal from Afghanistan, continuing with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which I believe happened mainly because of America's weakness over Afghanistan, and even ceding the role of power broker in the Middle East to China. And this is President Biden's foreign policy record. He's now adding to it total capitulation by allowing this deal to go ahead. And the way I read this deal for sure is essentially the U.S., the U.S. administration has given up on trying to contain Iran's nuclear program. They're just accepting Iran will be a nuclear-armed state. And what this is all about is trying to apply pressure on Israel to prevent Israel from dealing with Iran's nuclear program. And that, I think, is the real purpose of this deal, to make it much more complicated for Israel to carry out a serious military strike against the Iranian nuclear program. You shouldn't forget that only Israel has taken an active role in interdicting Iran's nuclear program. And over recent years, Prime Minister Netanyahu, with his close advisor and now Minister Ron Derma, have outmaneuvered U.S. efforts to facilitate the Iranian nuclear deal. And by carrying out covert operations, cyber, sabotage, assassination operations, they've put back the Iranian nuclear program by a number of years. But the hope, I think, by the Biden administration is that those efforts will be curtailed and Israel will be forced to tow the line and allow Iran to become a nuclear-armed state. When we come back, Commander, I don't think Israel's going to sit for this. It's obviously going to make their situation much more complicated when you have a president who appeases the Iranians and sells out the Israelis. On a really two-track kind of diplomatic activity here, which is bending over backwards for the Iranians and trying to prevent the Israelis from defending themselves. And I want to know your opinion about that. I mean, really, is Israel going to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons to threat its population? I mean, they're very close to one another. They don't have an ocean between those two countries.
