The shift that you're seeing, I think, in the foreign policy of the United States of America is a shift to realism, right? Like, the idea that the United States of America has core national interests, protecting the homeland, and China is our chief adversary. The American taxpayers are tapped out of this war in Ukraine. So, again, President Trump campaigned on the idea of bringing peace. That's what he's trying to do. I do find it interesting, Caitlin, though, that the people who are screaming about this the loudest call President Trump a dictator all the time. But first, thank you, America. That's the focus of tonight's angle. I'm so happy. I was so nervous a few weeks ago. A flight attendant whispered those words in my ear this morning. An hour later, another stranger -- I don't know, I was about 35 or so with a wife and a few small children -- approaches me and says, "What a great Thanksgiving this one's going to be." No. I've heard this time and again in recent weeks, and you know why. Of course, I get it. It's a self-selecting group. The Trump supporters are in a good mood. But I still think America is feeling more hopeful this holiday. People are breathing a sigh of relief. They can actually speak their minds and not worry, perhaps, about getting fired or getting penalized or getting canceled. And isn't it time to stop fighting and start having some fun? A constant state of turmoil and fury should not be our natural state. No, no, no, no. I am ashamed to call myself an American. In fact, I no longer call myself an American. Wake up! This is f***ing America and this is sad. It's so sad, really, and so hilarious, but it is mostly sad. And just think of how the anti-Trumpers invested in Judge Mershawn's sentencing of Trump in Manhattan. I want the judge to give him six months. I worked in the West Wing to be eligible to work in the West Wing. You have to qualify for a top secret security clearance. Felons can't get top secret security clearances. When you spend a year in prison in New York or under, you serve in Rikers Island. Okay? Ooh, the audience goes. I love watching these clips now. Thank God this Thanksgiving that Americans did not fall for that twisted and wishful thinking, including, by the way, young people. We should be so grateful to voters 30 and under who turned out for Trump in numbers we haven't seen since Reagan. It turns out, young people, they don't want to go through another four years of declining opportunities and high prices. Why should they? Today, they're giving Donald Trump's transition handling a staggering 65 percent approval. And, by the way, not just young people, more Hispanic and African-American voters turned out for Trump and tuned out the lies. They see MAGA more as an opportunity and not as a threat. But, bumbling Biden, he sold it so hard. Extreme movement of America, the MAGA Republicans, led by a defeated president, is trying to steal history now. And, thank God, enough Americans are over Obama as well. We do not need four years of a wannabe king, a wannabe dictator running around trying to punish his enemies. America is ready to turn the page. We are ready for a better story. Georgia, we're ready for a president, Kamala Harris. And, speaking of talents past their expiration date, I want to thank God that Oprah is going to somehow squeak by this holiday season with the paltry payday her production company made from Kamala's campaign, Poor Baby. After all, she's such a political savant. We don't get to sit this one out. If we don't show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again. And thank the good Lord for the voting public who put Donald Trump over the top and who are still happy with their choice. A new Emerson poll shows 54 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Donald Trump now. That is a record high for him. Now, the list of what we should be grateful for goes on and on. Now, remember, some of the so-called political experts warned that candidate Trump should stick to the economy and the border and stay away from the culture war issues. Well, as usual, Trump relied on his gut, and he ignored their advice. We will get critical race theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our schools. We will keep men out of women's sports. That's like a no brainer. And it turns out we can be very thankful that it looks like Trump broke woke. The largest retailer in the United States is dumping its diversity, equity and inclusion charade. Walmart is pulling back on diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Why the changes? What we're trying to do is to ensure that every customer, every associate feels welcome here to shop and to feel like they belong. And we're going to continue to make the best decisions we can that makes everyone, our customers, our associates feel like this is an environment they can shop in and thrive in. All right. That's a really long-winded way of saying we're listening to our consumers now who think woke is a joke. Trump doesn't just know how to read the room, people. He reads the country. Case in point, his announcement yesterday that he's planning significant tariffs to crack down on fentanyl and other border related issues. Thank God. Now, remember, tariffs are to free trade absolutists what sunshine is to vampires, but real people see their utility and the leverage that tariffs provide. According to that same CBS news poll, 52% of Americans support using tariffs on imported goods. Smart. Trump now has everyone's attention and suddenly I predict we're going to see even fewer migrants and less fentanyl coming across the border. More on China's blustery response later on in the show. And we'd be remiss on the angle in not being supremely grateful for Elon Musk, not only for his generous support of Trump in the final months of the campaign, and that was generous, but for his foresight in buying Twitter. I think it's a very tough call about whether or not Republicans could have won without him and X. Free speech won the day and the election and deranged never Trumpers who urged that Trump be censored and they were into pushed Musk and others like RFK and Tulsi Gabbard and Nicole Shanahan out of the Democrat party and into the Trump coalition. And of course, there would be no coalition without Trump himself, the master communicator. President Trump, I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either. Look, Trump, the fighter, Trump, the pragmatist, Trump, the peacemaker. I will end the war in Ukraine, which would have never started if I was president. And I will stop the chaos in the Middle East. And of course, Trump, the meme generator. He makes politics fun again. And shouldn't we start taking that whole pursuit of happiness thing seriously at this point? I think sometimes as conservatives, and it's true, we're always on the lookout for the traps, the obstacles, the challenges, the potholes, the landmines. But this should be a time for hope. We have achieved amazing victories this year, victories that few predicted in January 2021, not even I. And now we have an incredible opportunity, the best in decades, to build a better world for our children and our grandchildren and expand this coalition to all 50 states. And speaking of kids, I am really thankful for my children, Maria, Dimitri, and Nico. Yeah, teenagers drive me crazy, of course, but what would life be without that kind of crazy? with me now the 5 co-hosts judge Jeanine Pirro, a former New York State judge and district attorney, a ton of experience with all of this. There's another picture of Jeanine. It's another life. How are you? Good to have you here today. So what's your reaction to Judge Rishon moving? You are? I am stunned. Look, this is a judge who at every turn ruled against Donald Trump. This is a judge who allowed prejudicial evidence to come in, evidence that had nothing to do with the underlying charge. And speaking of the underlying charge, most of it is expired pursuant to the statute of limitations, bootstrapped and resurrected by another crime that the jury didn't have to really identify. And there's a lot of hearsay and there's some privileged information. Then in the interim is a Supreme Court decision that came out in July that said, hey, you know, you have to separate immunity or immunize and privilege testimony from the underlying essence of the crimes in this case. And now all of a sudden Judge Rishon is saying, well, I don't want to be political here. I think it's time that we took, you know, took note of the fact that we're in a presidential election season. Are you kidding me? This is a political decision made by a judge who said, you know what, this is a close election. I'm not going to give Donald Trump any kind of advantage here. That's my interpretation based upon a judge who did everything he could. Even the verdict sheet in this case is not, you don't, you can't understand it. I've never seen anything like it. And so now suddenly the DA, Martha agrees, the DA says, we're not going to object to his sentencing. They want to throw him in jail, but they know that this is a case that will that will go in Trump's favor and they don't want that to happen. So this is Alvin Bragg. There's so many cases that we've been keeping straight, but this was, this was the hush money case. And you remember that Alvin Bragg basically took something that was beyond the statute of limitations and extrapolated it into, I think 34 counts. It was in the end, which had people outraged back then. Do you think that they are now looking at this situation and that they got cold feet? I mean, at one point, Marshawn did say back in the courtroom, you know, it's not lost on me that I have someone here who may be the next president of the United States. Do you think that they just said, you know what, we don't, we don't really want this on our shoulders. Well, I think that it is inevitable that this case will be reversed. And I think that maybe Marshawn did everything he had to do, that he allowed in testimony regarding a crime that nobody knows what it was. And that in the end, they will be able to say that Donald Trump is a convicted felon. He's been convicted on 34 counts, but you know what, we're going to delay this sentencing because maybe if they had this sentencing and Donald Trump took an appeal, depending upon how quickly the appellate court wanted to rule on this, I mean, this is an important case where exigent circumstances would require an appellate court to take it up immediately. They don't want to be slapped down either. So I mean, there are so many avenues here in this case, but the one thing that is so essential to understand, Martha, is that every turn was against Donald Trump. Now all of a sudden we're clean. We don't want to get involved in anything political. It's a presidential election season and we're going to, we're going to just adjourn the sentencing until after election. And by the way, Jack Smith got a superseding indictment, right? Georgia's nowhere at that case. We don't know even know who the prosecutor is. You were Sean doesn't want to be hanging alone on this where he's definitely going to be slapped. Let me ask you this, which is a purely political question about all of this, because there was clearly a big rush in all these cases. Jack Smith wanted his cases, which were January 6th in the documents case, which got thrown out by the judge in Florida. They wanted all this to happen before the election. Do you think that the fact that Kamala Harris is now the candidate has made them cool their heels a little bit, that they're less worried about a second president Trump term? They may look at it and say, you know, the, the, it looks tight. And that's why I go back to the political that this little bit where if you put or sentence of someone running for president on house arrest or whatever confinement, the country will go crazy. We are a Republic. We are, this is the United States. You don't put someone running for president in jail or house confined about November 26th when we'll know, I mean, whether he's the next president or he is not, or he loses the election. Will there be a sentencing then they will have to make a decision first on the immunity part of this based on the Supreme court's decision that will then be appealed. And then they would probably go to a sentencing. But here's the thing. If he's president, they can't put him in jail at that point. Okay. Because he's got to run the country. Yeah. You know, there's a lot of, a lot of avenues on this one, but I've never seen them say, we don't want to be political now. Yeah. You know, we're, we're within two months of this election. So this obviously would have had a big bearing on it. It may have helped Trump if he was sentenced every single move along the way here, the more he was persecuted by the legal system, the more it helped him. But this one is off the table for now. Yes, because they're so deeply invested in this lawfare because they believe that it was going to neutralize Donald Trump as a political force in 2024, and it's only strengthened him. And it's not just this one case statement that has completely outraged us with no crime. Donald Trump didn't do anything wrong. It's all of the cases put together, got these four cases, 91 counts, up to 700 years in prison. The average American goes, "Oh, come on. This pylon is completely unjustified, and it's all because Donald Trump simply wanted to make America great again. This is absolutely ludicrous." And so the backlash has been very politically potent, not in the way the left wanted, but in favor of Donald. And if they had their way, they would have done all.

In other words, the case that was brought against Donald Trump should never have been brought. There shouldn't have been a sentencing hearing. There shouldn't have been fines. There shouldn't have been anything. This case against Donald Trump is a greater, more gray violation than anything we've ever seen under the excessive fines part of the Eighth Amendment and much worse than the Timbs case. The case brought against President Trump violates over 800 years of history of Western Enlightenment and the law dating back to the Magna Carta. President Trump's case is much stronger than anything before, much stronger than the Timbs case that the court ruled on. Why? The prosecutor for the state, Letitia James, campaigned for office on the platform of destroying Donald Trump. Her statements are now evidence of her intent and motivation in any appeal and central to the violations of the Eighth Amendment. Two, the state consumer fraud statute used against President Trump has never been used this way against anybody else in the history of the statute by the state of New York, ever. It's been used against him and his family. The Associated Press reviewed nearly, and I report as they report, 150 reported cases under the statute used to punish Mr. Trump and stated that nearly every previous time a company was taken away, victims and losses were key factors. Customers had lost money or brought defective products or never received services ordered, leaving them cheated and angry. Actual fraud, harm, detrimental reliance. Those are the three elements of fraud. No one was defrauded here. No one was harmed. No proof of detrimental reliance. None of them exist. Also, no testimony by anybody who lost anything. No complaint filed by any bank, by any insurance company, by any lender. In fact, the testimony was to the contrary. Now, there was no trial. There was no jury. Wow. Sounds like pre-1215, if you ask me. The judge ruled on the papers and he ruled that Donald Trump was guilty. And that was that. All the back and forth, all the hearings were about the fines and the penalties. Before Donald Trump stepped into that courtroom, he was guilty, according to this Democrat elected judge. I want you to think about that. When President Trump walked into that courtroom, he was already adjudicated guilty. The judge in the case, an elected Democrat like the prosecutor, an elected Democrat, had made earlier statements in other settings, very negative about Donald Trump, that should have caused him to recuse himself. But obviously, he didn't. None of them do in any of the cases where we know that they're biased against Trump. And I'm going beyond the fact that what this judge should have ruled immediately is, Madam Attorney General, you have no case under the Timbs case. And you have no case because a case like this has never been brought. You're talking about a former president of the United States. You're talking about a candidate for president of the United States. You're talking about a man who built the skyline in New York City. And you're bringing me a cockamamie case. Next thing you know, you'll bring the Ku Klux Klan case. Oh, wait a minute. They already did that in Washington. And what does the judge do? He orders nearly half a billion dollars in fines and interest, orders President Trump and his sons to turn his business over to the state, effectively the state of New York, to be managed by another former prosecutor of his choosing. Latisha James, the state prosecutor, she's made the rounds on the Sunday shows bragging about what she accomplished, bragging about how she upheld her campaign promise. So Trump properties, she says now, if he doesn't come up with four hundred million dollars, what is effectively bond in order to have the privilege of appealing the decision by this judge and the actions by the state government. She will seize the properties and sell them from under him. Sell them from under him at pennies on the dollar. Think about this. You know what this is? From her campaign statements, from the judge's prior statements, from the use of a statute that's never been used this way against anybody else in the history of New York, the lack of a trial, the lack of a jury, a decision on the papers, and all the rest of it. This is a prima facie case of a violation of the Eighth Amendment. It's not even a close case. The state prosecuting judge had to know in 2019 the Supreme Court ruled that this kind of state action was absolutely, unequivocally, unconstitutional, a violation of the Bill of Rights under the Fourteenth Amendment's due process clause. The judge even said, "President Trump," in his statement, "I'm doing what's close to the maximum, if not the maximum, because you didn't show remorse. You didn't bend your knee. You didn't kiss the hand of the state, that is, the hand of the king. So we're stealing your property out from under you. We're stealing it, and we're going to sell it if we have to, and you'll have no recourse." No recourse? What did Ruth Bader Ginsburg say in her opinion? "Nine to zero," the Supreme Court ruled, "that other liberties are affected, other liberties are affected, when a king, when a tyrant, when a dictator, when a state, when the federal government treats citizens this way. There is absolutely no legitimate basis of any kind, legally, factually, for what was done here, except to steal the property from Donald Trump to try and bankrupt him, because he's Donald Trump, because he's a former president, because he's running for president, and they're doing the dirty work of the Democrat Party and the Biden regime, the new king." We're less than three weeks away from the Iowa caucuses, so how are battleground state voters feeling ahead of the 2024 race? Joining us now are three business owners, Iowa voter Penny Carroll, Georgia voter John German and Arizona voter Jorge Rivas. Great to have you all with us. Thank you so much. Jorge, I'm going to start with you and the great state of Arizona. We take a look in 2020 and we can see Joe Biden won Arizona by a very small margin, 49.4% to Trump's 49.1%. He won Georgia by a small margin. Trump was able to pull it out in Iowa. As we go into 2024, we're thinking about the big issues. These are very, very close races and they probably will be very close again if we've got the same two candidates on the ticket. So what are the things that are driving you to the polls, the issues that you care about right now and how the candidates that are out there stack up on them? I say business owner, I really care what's happening because right after Joe Biden took office, everything doubled in price after he shut down the oil production, price of gasoline went up and we know that once that gasoline goes up, everything goes up and our prices have gone, have doubled, some items have tripled. So far for a small restaurant like ours, which is what they call a mom and pop restaurant, for us it's very difficult because our bar line is being pushed down, you know, and we cannot, we cannot afford to keep like this. And for people, for Americans that really care about this country, they need to realize that Joe Biden, not only in 2020, his mental decline was already bad. I mean, by now, three years later, four years later, the poor guy can barely walk. I mean, how dare you people out there who call themselves American are really, you know, trying to think or thinking of voting for someone who cannot even, you know, walk, let alone think, let alone lead the greatest country in the world. Some people, let's be real, you know, let's care for our kids, for our future. Yep. Good point. So I'm not very, I mean, I'm very looking forward to voting for someone who really loved and has the capacity to lead this nation and keep it as great as it has been for so many years. Yep. I was there just a couple of months ago talking to voters, and I was actually surprised to hear how much the border was on their minds. I know that's a big issue for you as well, Penny. Talk about why that's motivating you in this election cycle. It's huge. Why not let Donald Trump come back and finish the job that he was going to do and protect our borders? I would say that probably the majority of us lock our doors at night before we go to bed. But we're hearing reporters, we're hearing reports of all these busloads of people coming into Washington, D.C., into Chicago. And it is affecting our business. In some ways, it's affecting it in a good way because people from California, from Minnesota are coming to the Midwest to live because it's safe. But yeah, borders is number one for me. All right, Penny. Thank you so much. I want to bring it over to John, who's from Georgia. John, we have all three of you are business owners, we know, and you represent the majority of business, which is small business owners. The economy, border security, all important. When you look at the candidates for you, John, who is the pull away for you? And if it is Donald Trump, which I think it is, is there anyone else that's grabbing your attention at this point? You know, quite frankly, I'm a Trump supporter. I'm not afraid to admit it like a lot of other people are. I like what he has to offer. I really enjoy what he did in his last term in office as far as getting gas prices down. Everything was manageable and as soon as Biden and the Democrats came into power, they really kind of went out of their way just to really ruin a whole lot of good things for the American people. Not for the good enough for the benefit of anybody. Maybe for, you know, maybe their donors or people like that, you know, every normal, everyday work in Americans kind of like me, we're having to suffer through absurdly high gas prices, absurdly high inflation rates, constantly having to battle high prices for everything with no end in sight. There's no plan. Biden and his cohorts and the Democrat Party in general, if I can go ahead and say that, they don't really care about people like me and people like Jorge, who work hard for their families. We're a mom and pop shop as well. It's just my wife and I who own and operate this business. We built it from the ground up and, you know, it's just ridiculous how we're just looked over basically like, hey, they're having to pay, you know, $300 a week in gas just like and pull my food trailer here, there and everywhere. Well, that's not taking a consideration. You know, the price of my raw materials, the price of food has gone up. I don't have to tell anybody that once the last time Biden or any of his pals went out to the grocery store, bought food for themselves and their family and been like, man, this is really high. It's a good question because when meat prices were rising, he couldn't tell you what a pound of ground beef cost at the grocery store. And you make a great point. because he doesn't go to the grocery store and Hunter doesn't have to worry about the price of ground beef.
