My next guest serves as a co-chair of this weekend's event. He has been involved for a long time in conservative politics. Bill White is CEO of the Constellations Group in Florida. Bill, welcome. Good to have you back. Hi, Martha, great to be with you. So tell us a little bit about this event and about what the purpose was and why it was important that the former first lady was part of this. What's the big message here? Well, I think the big message was this was her first solo event. She does many events with President Trump. We're members of Mar-a-Lago. They're together all the time. You could never keep up with President Trump going to every single event. He is superhuman, if I could say that. But our first event with Mrs. Trump was her wanting to launch the most aggressive outreach to LGBT and suburban women voters in the history of a Republican presidential candidacy. And we actually had a small room because there was a lovely wedding going on at Mar-a-Lago. And we sold the event out in 36 hours. We had hundreds of people who wanted to come and meet the first lady and experience this amazing opportunity to hear from her. And she gave a phenomenal speech about unity, about bringing our country together, that we're so divided. It's time to come together and be human and be loving and be supportive of each other. And let's be patriotic and fight to take our country back. And the message was a big hit, Martha. And I really think that she is a super stealth, absolutely wonderful surrogate for President Trump. She loves him dearly. They have a beautiful son that they've raised together. She's a terrific mother. And we're so proud of her. And we're honored that she is taking this initiative and will be leading it going forward. Yeah, that this was her first solo event, as you say. So speaking of the current president, Biden, here's what he had to say in Tampa, Florida today, also trying to reach out to the voters of this group. Watch. And Oberfeld legalized same-sex marriage. Justice Thomas means it. And so does Donald Trump. Again, here's what that means. The right to make the best decisions for your health, the right to use birth control, the right to marry the person you love. All that's at risk now because it's no longer viewed by some of our good friends in the court as a constitutional guaranteed right. What's your reaction to that? He says that President Trump would take away Oberfeld. Yeah, well, look, Joe Biden is the biggest flip-flopping guy out there. He was first against gay marriage. If you remember in the Great Meet the Press interview, he said Barack and I are not for gay marriage. President Trump was before he ran for president supportive of marriage equality. He loves us. He sees us. He wants us to be successful. And we believe, Martha, that President Trump is the only choice for us as a group to keep us safe, to bring back prosperity, and to make our families healthier and happier in this great country. We're for Donald Trump, and we're going to see a great outreach with Melania to this group. And we look forward to coming back and telling you about our upcoming events. When I think about Donald Trump, I think about this case in New York. I mean, I'm looking at the Democrats right now, and again, primarily I have voted Democrat throughout my life, but I'm utterly disgusted with what I'm seeing because it seems to me that they're trying to use the law in the courts. They've clearly politicized this thing with Donald Trump because they can't come up with a strategy to offset the momentum. He's clearly gayed. In at least five polls, he's up. He's up in the polls over Biden, in at least five polls that I counted. That's the reality of the situation, despite the counts against them, the indictments against them being impeached twice and all of this other stuff. He is the presumptive GOP nominee, and you don't seem to have the issues in your favor. You believe, so because of that, you're going to manipulate the system as best as you possibly can to avoid him possibly running for reelection again. That appears to be their strategy, but I'm here to tell you, it's not working.

But the justices also don't like it, Griffin. You know, somebody tries to butt to the front of the line and rob them the justices of meaningful legal judgment. And you know, here the special counsel really offered no compelling reason, except obviously wants a trial of Trump in the middle of a presidential campaign, I think to damage him to the benefit of Democrats and Joe Biden. And perhaps the justices saw this for what it was, election interference. You know, Jack Smith, the special counsel keeps insisting Trump should be treated like everybody else, all right, and then appeal the case like everyone else.

Fox News contributor and GW Law School professor, Jonathan Turley. Hey, Professor Turley. Hi, Anzalie. How are you doing? I'm doing great. Thank you. Why do you think he decided? Because over the weekend we thought he was going to testify, then yesterday on Truth Socially said he's not going to. Why do you think he changed his mind? Well, a lot of lawyers would have suggested this course of action because he's already testified in the trial. And so if you're happy with the record you created, why create the chance for a loss or mistake. And so lawyers tend to be risk averse and I think many would have said you don't need to testify. But what's going to happen next is maybe some of the most interesting parts of the trial because there are still some rebuttal witnesses and one defense witness that many of us are interested in. And that defense witness is Professor Bartoff, who's an NYU professor, and he gave very strong testimony in favor of the Trump defense and said that he did not see evidence of accounting fraud in any of these documents. Yeah. Letitia James, the AG here, she ran on taking down Donald Trump. She's seeking $250 million in damages. She wants to prevent him from conducting business here in New York anymore. Trump is claiming election interference and a witch hunt. Do you agree? Well, I think that the part of the problem here is, as you noted, you have an AG that ran on the pledge to nail Trump on anything. She didn't even specify. And she used this law which doesn't require a victim. You know, before Professor Bartoff testified, two bankers testified that said, no, we didn't lose money and we actually wanted more loans from Trump. Trump described him as a whale client, someone you want more business with. But that hasn't stopped James. She wants the Trumps to have the company to be dissolved. She wants a quarter of a billion dollars when no one lost money. And the fact is that it's so over the top that it may end up really raising concerns upon appeal. Look, James had this judge at a low. I mean, I think that she knows that this judge has already obviously decided there was fraud and he's likely to hammer Trump in terms of damages. But they still have to go to the Court of Appeals, which just recently handed Trump somewhat of a victory. They said, we're not going to dissolve these companies until we see more. Yeah, there's so many buildings, as you know, here in New York that have his name on it. He saved Woolman Rink, which is the ice skating rink where all of our kids go ice skating in Central Park and where many of our viewers go when they visit New York. So it would be a travesty to see so many of his businesses fail here in New York or he wouldn't be able to have his name on these buildings. So thank you so much, Jonathan, for coming on.
