“It's worse than even politicization of intelligence; it was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama's and his team's objective, which was undermining President Trump."

Video transcript 1:12

There's no question in my mind that this intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered be, uh, uh, published, which contained a manufactured intelligence document. It's worse than even politicization of intelligence. It was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama and his team's objective, which was undermining President Trump's presidency and subverting the will of the American people. So yes, uh, next week we will be releasing more detailed information about how exactly this took place and the extent to which, uh, this information was, was sought to be hidden from the American people hidden from officials who would be in a position to do something about it. And that's really the point here that I think is, is most important Maria. And you said it in your opening accountability is essential for the future of our country, for the American people to have any sense of trust in the integrity of our democratic Republic, accountability, action, prosecution, indictments for those who are responsible for trying to steal our democracy is essential for us to make sure that this never happens to our country again.

Elon Musk: “This is not the end of DOGE, but really the beginning...The DOGE team will only grow stronger overtime...It is permeating throughout the government, and I am confident that, over time, we will see—a trillion dollars of waste and fraud reduction."

Video transcript 2:21

Well, let me say, perhaps a few words, that this is not the end of Doge, but really the beginning. My time as a special government employee necessarily had to end. It was a limited time thing. It's 134 days, I believe, which ends in a few days. So that comes with a time limit. But the Doge team will only grow stronger over time. The Doge influence will only grow stronger. It's-- I liken it to sort of Buddhism. It's like a way of life. So it is permeating throughout the government. And I'm confident that over time we'll see a trillion dollars of savings and a reduction in-- a trillion dollars of waste of poor reduction. The calculations of the Doge team thus far, in terms of an FY25 to FY26, delta are over $160 billion. And that's climbing. We expect that number will probably go over $200 billion soon. So I think the Doge team is doing an incredible job. They're going to continue doing an incredible job. And I'll be-- and I'll continue to be visiting here and be a friend and advisor to the president. And I look forward to times being back in this amazing room. By the way, isn't this incredible? This incredible-- I mean, it's stunning, I think, the way that the Oval Office-- the president has just completely redone the Oval Office. It's beautiful. I love the gold on the ceiling. It's pretty nice. Yeah. That's been there a long time. That was plaster. Nobody ever really saw it. They didn't know the eagle was up there. And we highlighted it's a-- essentially, it's a landmark, a great landmark. And that's 24 karat gold. And everybody loved it. And now they all see it when they come in. So it's been good. The Oval Office finally has the majesty that it deserves thanks to the president. So I look forward to continuing to be a friend and advisor to the president, continuing to support the Doge team. And we are relentlessly pursuing $8 trillion in ways to afford reductions, which will benefit the American taxpayer. So that's it, really. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you. All right. Great job. [APPLAUSE]
