I can sense some emotion, where does this rank for you and all you've achieved in your career becoming a winning president's cup captain? I don't know. It's really special because I got to meet President Trump today on the first tee. I think as he told me this morning, he brought some juice for us today and I told him if it's turned out our way, I was going to give him the credit because he definitely brought the juice. He deserves a lot of the credit for what's happened today.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's my privilege to welcome the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. (Applause.) Thank you very much. You know, the fake news media will say I got a very bad reception. (Applause.) But we get a good reception. We love what we're doing, what the country is doing right now. Brian said, "Could you make a short speech?" And I said, "No, I don't have the courage to make a speech. These people want to speak up. They don't want to hear speeches." I'll only say this. Our country is doing great better than ever before. (Applause.) I want to remind you, the greatest players in the world go out and play and dance.

Our country is doing great better than ever before. Our country is doing great. And now, I want to watch the greatest players in the world go out and play and play your hearts out. It's going to be a very interesting day of golf. Thank you all, everybody. Thank you.

Just a little more than a half hour ago, President Trump arrived at Medina Country Club as the honorary chairman of the President's Cup for the second time flanked there by PGA Tour CEO Brian Rollap, the first time in that role nine years ago at Liberty National in New Jersey.
