Republican voters overwhelmingly are saying they plan to vote for Trump in the primary next year. With neighboring Florida Governor Ron DeSantis only getting 10% of the support. Yeah, Louisiana has that closed primary system, so we're not going to see independents that are a little softer on Trump. We're seeing a core of the Republican Party, and that's where Trump is actually getting some of the highest numbers we've seen in our primary polling at about 75% support. Despite numerous indictments in recent weeks, Louisiana Republicans are sticking with him. I keep reading all these stories about Trump being indicted, but you certainly wouldn't be able to tell by how Republicans act in Louisiana. They're standing by his side. These indictments are barely acknowledged, and look, there are a lot of folks who are running entire campaigns based on their affiliation with Donald Trump, chief among them Jeff Landry, our attorney general. Landry, securing that Trump endorsement, has given him a competitive edge over all other Republican candidates. So the Trump name does carry in Louisiana.
