Host of my view, Laura Trump joins us now. Laura, so let's start with that question. They're obviously the democratic socialists, the communist wing of the party. They're having a great summer. Will this be something that they'll be celebrating in the fall or will most of these democrat socialists who won in these primaries lose in the general? - Well, that is the real question, Rachel. November will be very telling for the future of the democrat party. They have a huge problem though. They have an enthusiasm problem, and they have had that for quite some time. They used all of their capital for four years to try to hype people up about Joe Biden. And when their voters realized they'd been lied to about this guy, they said, "Well, we're not really excited to vote for this party anymore. They don't really have any great rising stars. They're a party in debt and no one is excited about them." And so now what have they done? They decided to lean into where there was a little bit of enthusiasm and a little bit of energy in their party. Unfortunately, it was socialists, not democrats, who had that energy. But if they are able, come November, to actually see these people take seats in our House or our Senate, I think the democrat party we've always known is dead and gone, and I think their future will be of socialists and communists. And that is a really scary thing for every American. It should scare democrats. The establishment is terrified of these people, whether or not they've been willing to admit it, but it should be scary to every person in our country because once you go down that path, Rachel, you don't come back. - Yeah, you know, Laura, I don't think they're terrified of the ideas that the democrat socialists have. They're just terrified of losing power, that these primaries are not gonna work for them in the general. I thought this was an interesting thing for you to look at here. This is the Hill influencers most followed members of Congress on the democrat side. So the most followed are Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the House, among republicans it's Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Jim Jordan. So what does this tell you? It looks like we could use some young people on the republican side as well. Your thoughts? - Yeah, absolutely. It's become cool to be a republican and Donald Trump was able to make that a thing, right? I don't know why they're following Elizabeth Warren, quite frankly, unless they wanna see her pop beers every now and again and take a swig. But yeah, look, we have an opportunity here where Donald Trump gave us an opening and he really did open up this party. We have to embrace that and we have to lean into that and we especially need to be continuing to talk like our friend Charlie Kirk did to young Americans, to people in college and even kids in high school and talk to them about why our system works far better than the democrat system, especially now, Rachel, that we're comparing a capitalist system and our system we've had in America for 250 years to something that we know destroys countries like socialism and communism. We have to continue to educate people and yeah, we could use some help from the younger members of congress to do that, absolutely. So let's keep communicating, let's keep talking to the kids out there and every American, again, as we head towards November because this really is an election that I think is as important as 2024. If you've liked what Donald Trump has been able to do for the first two years of his second term and you wanna see that continue, we have to win these midterms. - Last week in the primary in Wisconsin, my son-in-law who won his primary, if he's elected in the general, he will become the youngest member of congress and he will also be the first one born in this century. So there is some, and by the way, at his election party, half of the room were young people and half the other half were older. So the message matters, but so do the messengers and I think that's what you're saying. Let's talk about the messengers on your show today because you have, go ahead, why don't you tell us who you have today? - Yeah, we have James Blair, of course, from the White House. We have Florida Attorney General James Uthmeyer who is doing a lot right now. He's talked about holding Fauci accountable, which we would absolutely love to see. Avi Loeb is in charge of UAPs for the White House. That used to be called UFOs. Rachel, people wanna tune in to hear what he's gotta say. It's so fascinating. I went to visit him at Harvard in his office and we talked about all kinds of things that he's seen and what he thinks we could see. You have to tune in tonight. Willie Robertson and Corey Robertson, they have a new movie that they're part of coming out now that is family friendly and it's a great way to end the summer. So nine o'clock tonight, I will see everybody there. I never miss it, Laura. Thanks for joining us.

-If you're at all like me, you are really frustrated when the very people who swear to uphold and safeguard our rights and interests are actively working against us. Now, too often, it's illegal aliens and foreigners first. Americans last. And that's how the mother of Sheridan Gorman, the young, loyal university student slain last year by an illegal alien, clearly feels. She testified on Capitol Hill today. And when Democrats, by the way, are forced to confront the consequences of their beliefs and their policies, they either try to change the subject, cry racism, or just disrupt the speaker, which is what happened today on Capitol Hill, on sanctuary cities, where their hearing was taking place all about that issue even before Mrs. Gorman spoke. -The same outrage you feel about Renee Goode and Alex Prettie, you should feel about Sheridan Gorman and Lincoln Riley and every angel family in this country. -I do feel that outrage. -You do not, because if you did, you would not support -- -Do you feel be outraged about Alex Prettie and Renee Goode? -You should be ashamed of yourself, maybe. -You don't go on this committee. You should get the hell out of here. You don't understand the rules of the committee. You don't understand the Constitution. -You're a disgraceful of it. -Mr. Raskin. -You're absolutely full of disgrace, supporting sanctuary policies. -Say one word about it. -Get rid of, say one word about Alex Prettie and Renee Goode. -I did. I wrote a whole New York Times op-ed about it. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. This is for them and opposing sanctuary policies that resulted in their daughter's death. -Good for Mike Lawler. Now, Democrats will do anything -- I mean anything to avoid any accountability for the open borders that they supported. -Fortunately, this hearing is -- It's the fourth time in this committee that we've had a hearing on sanctuary cities. The fourth time. And there's many other things that we could be doing, other than this. -Like what? First of all, saying that to a woman whose 18-year-old daughter was gunned down by an illegal, she couldn't show even a sliver of human decency. -Thanks for telling me without telling me that, you know, you're here, but you don't want to be. This is the fourth -- This is the fourth time you've had angel families. Thanks for telling me you don't care. -Well, liberals do care. They care about power. That's it. Gorman's daughter, to them, was just collateral damage. -I need you to think about what these policies are, and I need you to imagine this is your daughter, because I'm very sure you won't be cutting off anyone when they're speaking. You won't -- I'd be very sure you won't call this a political stunt. The grief is real. Every day, I wake up with unimaginable pain. You know what I -- You know what I wake up in the middle of the night, and I think, "Did my daughter cry for me?" She made it 40 feet. She made it 40 feet, running for her life. Did she cry out for me? She died on that pavement all by herself, lonely, bleeding on that pavement, and I will never, ever rest. I actually have to say that I am devastated. -So, she came to Washington with, obviously, her story, but a very simple question. Why are American families like hers always the ones put in the backseat left behind? -I challenge the world to sit down with me, take my hand, look me in the eye, and then explain to me, because I just don't understand. Explain why people here illegally matter more than your American citizens. Explain why sanctuary policies matter more than my Sheridan's life. Explain why cooperation with ICE was too much to ask for. -But asking our American parents to bury our children is somehow acceptable. I want you to imagine that was your daughter, not mine. What if she was yours? Would you even hesitate for one second to act, to make changes? -Remember, this was Chicago, Brandon Johnson, the mayor. But do you think he even watched this today? I doubt it. But Jessica Gorman's words were more powerful than anything that has ever come or will come out of the mouths of the squad members. -No family should ever have to bury a child, because public officials fail to put American lives first. I'm just asking you to choose us. We choose you. We choose you. Choose us. Why does my child matter less than a legal immigrant? Why? -And then earlier in the day, at the Supreme Court, the unfortunate decision handed down that we all feared was coming. In a gut punch to the weary public, five justices on the Supreme Court, including President Trump's last appointee, Amy Coney Barrett, upheld the constitutional right to so-called birthright citizenship. In the majority opinion, the Chief Justice wrote, "If Congress intended to limit American citizenship to the children of those domiciled in the United States, nothing in the succinct language of the citizenship clause conveyed that design." Words appearing frequently in the executive order -- mother, father, lawful, temporary -- are absent from the clause for a simple reason. They did not matter. Now, President Trump told us who we thought the winner was in all this, and a post on "True Social" earlier today. He said, "I would like to congratulate President Xi and the great country of China on their massive birthright citizenship win." Well, Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, called the ruling "one of the most destructive and outrageous decisions in the long history of the Supreme Court," adding that, "American citizenship is not the birthright of the world." Now, over the years, the angle has exposed various birth tourism rackets where foreigners travel here for the sole purpose of having their child on U.S. soil and ultimately getting the passports. Unscrupulous Chinese birth motels operating on the east and west coasts even have midwives who help deliver the babies, than others who help streamline the infant's passport application. A few years ago, we learned about a group in Southern California that ironically called itself USA Happy Baby. It assisted several hundred women who traveled from China to give birth to U.S. citizen babies. -19 people are now charged in this birth tourism investigation that began in 2015 with raids on an upscale apartment complex east of downtown Los Angeles. There, investigators say pregnant Chinese women were being charged anywhere from $40,000 to $80,000 for food, lodging, and transportation until their babies were born on U.S. soil and therefore qualified for citizenship. -Now, frankly, this has been happening for decades. And after today's decision, the DOJ says it will now launch a new crackdown on birth tourism. Well, that's all well and good, and we'll ask the vice president about it, but it still doesn't change the fact that in light of today's ruling, any child born here will become an American citizen, which is a point that Justice Alito made in his dissent. And Justice Thomas, in his 91-page dissent -- it was a barn burner -- he excoriated the majority for what he called the repurposing of the 14th Amendment away from its original focus of securing equal citizenship for freed slaves. And he wrote now to protect its own set of preferred rights that the Reconstruction Congress never contemplated and that cannot find support in its text. He continued, "He's not sure that today's opinion will stand the test of time." Well, let's hope it doesn't. But between now and then, a lot of damage will be done to America. Back in 2023, Pew Research reported that 320,000, or 9% of U.S. births, were of mothers that were illegal immigrants or people who only had temporary legal status -- 320,000. Now, that number, I predict, will balloon after this decision. But think about it this way. If only we had two political parties in Congress devoted to protecting us, to protecting our citizenship in our country's national security. If we had that, well, we could leapfrog the court and amend the Constitution, make it really clear for all those five justices, there's no confusion. But as things stand, the Republican Senate is so lame, let's face it, that it can't even pass the Save America Act when 80% of the country favor its key provisions. This morning, the Speaker Mike Johnson was rightly furious. -I'm sure the conclusion from this opinion is gonna be that you gotta have a -- you gotta amend the Constitution to fix that. It's a big challenge to amend the Constitution. It's only happened 27 times in our whole nation's history. -By the way, that's Mike Johnson, furious. Keeps it cool. So the voters need to light up their phone lines, their senators' phone lines, force them to explain their position on this issue. Why aren't they protecting American elections, which should, in turn, protect, not dilute our citizenship?
