welcome back America you know Steve Moore it's a pleasure to have you back unleash prosperity co-founder former Trump economic advisor and really one of the best economists out there and Steve Moore I want to discuss this with you because it's not going to be discussed anywhere else right which is part of the problem the media basically have thrown a pillow over the economy and are suffocating the news about it we have an economy that is expanding we've an economy that is expanding for the middle class and for poor people in terms of creation of jobs wealth creation opportunity creation we also have some people Steve Moore who are saying you know just feel the public's pain feel the pain understand the pain be empathetic with the pain I don't have a problem with that but how about we get the facts on the table and talk about what's actually going on in this country you're the man to do it so let's get started what's going on in this country economically well listen this is a blockbuster economy in so many ways now I understand people are upset about paying you know four dollars and twenty nine cents a gallon for gasoline and that is a problem but if you look at so many of these other elements of the economy and just since the last time you and I talked which was a month or two ago the numbers just keep getting better so for example just the other day the energy department reported that we are in the United States producing more oil and gas than any other time in American history mark more own guests were the number one producer of oil and gas that didn't happen by accident it's because Donald Trump put in place drill baby drill whereas you know Joe Biden his predecessor tried to kill the oil and gas industry imagine if we had had Biden for four more years we'd be paying seven eight dollars a gallon for gasoline how about the fact that Trump truly is the blue-collar president you look at what's happening with manufacturing construction virtually all-time highs in terms of job creation in terms of output by our construction and manufacturing industry great news for middle-class workers how about the fact that if you look at people's 401k plans and as you know we've got something like 120 million American families that have 401k plans and other retirement plans those are up just since Trump came into office for a second term of $25,000 in value by the way they fell those plans fell in value under Joe Biden how about this one that they revised upward the GDP both for the previous quarter and this quarter we're running at three and a half to four percent those are blockbuster numbers those are numbers that almost no other country can report on so overall I'm gonna rate this a B+ economy yes inflation is a problem but all these other things that nobody's talking about are so universally positive let's talk about inflation the problem yeah it's a lot lower than it was just two or three years ago is yes yeah now this is a really important point if you take the average inflation rate per year under Biden it was 5% the average inflation rate since Trump has taken office is 3% now it's running at about 3.4% but I'm here to tell you as soon as we bring that oil price down you're gonna see prices fall rather dramatically so that's a big difference 5% inflation under Biden 3% inflation under Trump and yet the Democrats are saying put us back in power we're gonna lower the inflation rate now may make another point about this because it's very important and we chatted about this previously but it's it's more important now than ever where is inflation worse where which states have the highest energy prices gas prices electricity prices housing prices nine of the ten states that are most expensive to live in ready for this mark nine of the ten states with the highest cost of living our blue states California New York New Jersey my home state of Illinois Connecticut Massachusetts now wait a minute we're gonna put these people in power and they're gonna lower your prices I don't think so they can't do it in their own states they never tell us how they're gonna lower prices and I don't think they can't Steve Moore because they they're the ones who kept driving prices up and as a matter of policy they should be thrilled with the price of a gallon of gasoline because as you point out they wanted it at seven or eight dollars a gallon and if they get back in office does anybody actually think they're gonna tolerate us as the number one producer of oil in the world at this record level no they're not gonna tolerate that they're gonna clamp it all right down and I want to pursue that with me when we come back we'll be right back welcome back America Steve Moore I'm trying to figure out exactly how the Democrats are gonna lower the price of anything when you look at these Democrat states you're talking about nine out of ten the prices are higher than anywhere else look at the price of a gallon of gasoline in California premium gasoline diesel gasoline over eight dollars a gallon that is Newsom and the Democrats yeah you know I've been making the case Steve Moore maybe maybe you agree that the main reason the price of gas is high is because of Democrats that's the main reason the price of gas is high anyway tell me how do we reduce the price of gas immediately because you have an idea yeah and have been some of the Republican governors around the country are picking this up why not temporarily suspend the federal gas tax and state gas taxes which can add as much as 75 cents a gallon to to a price tag that you pay at the pump until we get the price back down to below $4 gallon there's also all of these left wing requirements that you put in all these renewable energy stuff like putting corn in your tank with ethanol why not suspend that we estimate if the president would do that tomorrow he'd get a lot of resistance from Democrats we could lower the price of gasoline by 50 cents a gallon and that would provide motorists with a lot of relief why not do that and then when we get the gas price back down then we can reinstate these policies probably get a lot of resistance from farmers - well you know maybe a couple the other Iowa maybe some of the Iowa senators might not like that but it would be temporary and it would basically show Trump is doing all he can now I want to make a related point to this what is the first thing Democrats want to do if they take power they want to repeal the big beautiful bill they call it the big ugly bill they voted against not only did the average family saved $2,500 a year on their taxes but how about the fact that 20 million 20 million small businesses which produced the most jobs in America would face a huge tax increase same with mortgage interest deductions and property tax deductions all were increased for average Americans under the president United States not a single Democrat voted for that to me there's so much good that's been done in the left less than two years by this president and the Republicans in Congress without a single Democrat vote most of the time it's really incredible to me now you also we have discussed off air this change in total wealth by group since 2019 and yeah and what Donald Trump has done about that tell me about that well you know if you count Trump's first term in office and a second term in office the average increase in in 401k plans and retirement plans because remember the stock market's been doing very well has increased by about $50,000 you know what happened under Biden's four years when you come for inflation it lost $24,000 I mean Biden depleted the value of people's retirement funds and incidentally if I may Democrats have a plan they keep talking about how much they love seniors they have a plan in their DSA you know Democrat Socialist of America to to put in place something called Medicare for all so that would bankrupt Medicare seniors should be very afraid of this it will basically run the system will completely run out of money if you do 200 300 million people under Medicare where is the gun money going to come from Medicare will collapse mark if they do this and seniors will lose their health care coverage and seniors who've paid into it for decades yeah American citizens the legal aliens who come across the border don't get Medicare for all people who who've never contributed to Medicare they'll get Medicare for all so in other words they're going to turn it into a massive welfare program that's right and you're right it'll collapse because it's already supposed to collapse and so they'll push this over the cliff even faster seniors should be as you point out very very worried about this plan that the Democrats have Steve Moore final words it's a strong economy Trump is pushing all the right buttons I think in his next two years we're gonna see one of the biggest booms he ever saw hundreds of billions of dollars money coming into the US economy to create jobs every country in the world you may not hear this from the press every country in the world would love to have the American economy that we have under Donald Trump and I believe he's launched the fourth Industrial Revolution I agree I data centers yeah and all these other spectacular things going on the only thing that can kill this is if the Democrats take the house and or the Senate it will kill it Steve Moore great work as always thank you my friend

Welcome back, America. We're here with our good friend, Hudson Institute senior fellow Keystone Defense Initiative director Rebecca Heinrichs. Rebecca, thanks for coming back. Well, we're at this point now where really I think it comes down to containment through a deal or some sort of victory where we keep the pressure on, military pressure, economic pressure, and so forth and so on. How do you see this right now? Well, I actually think there's a third way, and that's essentially you put the pressure back on, you do another military operation, and that is going to be more conducive to getting a deal that works. President Trump has been incredibly patient with this rump regime, but it has not delivered. When the president says, look, we're going to have a ceasefire, you still have IRGC militia firing on Navy ships. Now, our military is still in place, Mark, as you know, so we continue to take out these small boats that are trying to harm either tankers or our ships. But, you know, enough is enough. I mean, we've got them economically squeezed. They are losing hundreds of millions of dollars a day because of what President Trump's economic pressure campaign is doing. The military pressure is still in place if President Trump gives the go-ahead, but I still think we have got to do another round. We know what targets we still have to hit inside Iran. That needs to come next, and then we're going to be in a better position to get these Iranians to actually start playing ball. Well, let's say we do that, and let's say we get there, and they say, OK, Uncle, we give, now we really want to talk to you again. What do we want? We know we want no nukes. We know we want no enrichment. We know we want to remove all the stored enrichment. What else do we want? We want control of the Strait of Hormuz. But President Trump was completely right to initiate Operation Epic Fury, and whenever you saw his critics come in and say, oh, my goodness, the United States didn't prepare for the Iranians to threaten the Strait, it's nonsense. We always knew that this was the only thing the Iranians could do. They could terrorize the Strait of Hormuz 20-plus percent of global shipping, and so we cannot give them that card ever again. And of course, we know that as long as the Iranians can terrorize the Strait, and by the way, there's still 1,500 ships being held hostage by the Iranians stuck in the Strait that President Trump wanted to be able to release with Project Freedom. We've paused that because the Iranians want us to pause it. I think that's a mistake. But I think we've got to take that away. They cannot be funding proxies throughout the region. We're really handling that by depriving them of any resources. They're not even able to pay their militiamen at this point because of the economic squeeze they're in. But we don't want them to control the Strait. They can't have nuclear weapons, and they can't have a ballistic missile program that can act as a shield so that the United States, with our great partners and allies, the Israelis, so that we can't come in and do this again if we need to in 10, 15, 20 years. Now, that is a great point. They can't do it again, but we may have to come back in 10, 15, or 20 years. You see the opposition to what the president is already doing. I see the opposition here in the United States is growing. We have this isolationist movement. We have this Marxist Islamist movement. We have these woke right neo-fascists. We have a Democrat party that is radically pacifistic. This is my concern. How long can this be managed once President Trump leaves office? Can it be managed in an effective way given our politics and given the Democrat party and these other elements? Well, it's a great question. I think that President Trump is really the only president that has decided to finally take on this terrorist regime that has been an enemy of the United States killing Americans for 47 years. And we know that all of this diplomacy, the Iran deal, Obama's attempt with the JCPOA, it was a failure. At the end of failed diplomacy, you have to have military force to reestablish deterrence. President Trump has done that. The Iran regime, I think, Mark, is already completely crumbling. And we basically have a rump regime in place. It's splintering. It's part of the reason that we can't get a deal at this point because the IRGC isn't listening to the people who are negotiating with the Americans at this point. And so I think that we have to do what we can to eliminate those who are the most obstinate, the most committed to the Islamic revolution and try to get to a point where we can have a regime that can comply with the United States in our demands. Let me come back. My question to you is this. Why don't we just keep the pressure on economically if they're crumbling? Do as you say. Our military is sitting there. It's a beautiful military ready to do what it needs to do. Put this additional pressure on them and that way maybe they will collapse. And that's the surest way to make sure in 15 or 20 years from now, they won't be back. We'll be right back. Welcome back, America. We're here with Rebecca Heinrichs. Rebecca, so why have a deal at all? Why not keep the pressure on, the pressure on, pressure on? They want a deal. Of course they want a deal. That's the nature of the beast there. They'll take a deal. Maybe they'll sign something that's really in our favor but probably won't honor it in the out years and so forth. If they're crumbling, why don't we give them the extra push? Yeah, I think we do need to give them the extra push. And whenever I say that we might have some sort of diplomatic, you know, political outcome to this, it's really not a deal that I'm looking for. It's not something that I'm not going to believe anything that the Iranians signed. It just means that they've completely submitted to American demands. President Trump has not moved off of his red lines. He has kept his red lines in place to his credit. But I do think we keep the economic pressure in place. We keep the blockade in place. Their economy is crumbling. They cannot sustain this kind of pressure. But I do think that we need to go on the offensive again because we have seen the IRGC using cruise missiles, using other kinds of weapons systems that we didn't see that they had when we stopped Epic Fury. So we know where they are. We know where they are along the coastline. I do think that there's more munitions facilities that we now know exist. So I think we do have to have another military operation go through there, take out more IRGC and Basij. And then the last point, Mark, I would say arm the Iranian people. We don't even have to do the heavy lifting at this point. The Iranian people support the United States. They oppose the Iran regime. They're the victims of oppression and they can handle the rest if they have the weapons to do it. There seems to be some opposition to this. I don't know who it is or why it is. I'm just wondering if the CIA bureaucracy is not up to it or doesn't want to do it or somebody doesn't want to do it because this is something that works. It's something we did throughout the Reagan administration. It doesn't involve our troops on the ground, you know, fighting the Iranian troops and so forth and so on. And we have a willing people, tens of millions of them that just want to be able to take on this regime. How many times do they have to prove it? They've had 50,000 dead this time, 100,000 dead before that. They want to be free. Why don't we use this resource and at the same time help free these people? Well, I think it's a great question. And we saw early on in Epic Fury, President Trump essentially implied that we had a plan in place to get arms into those who could get it into the opposition. And that plan didn't work. But I would hope that we try again and see if there's another avenue to do this. During the ceasefire, we should have the CIA with the Israelis, intelligence services who have completely penetrated the regime. They know who the different factions are, who the people are, who they can work with. And in fact, the Iranian people have given coordinates to the Israelis to show them where the besieged leaders, those are the people who are controlling the Iranian populations, the dissenters. So there has been some collaboration already. Those individuals just need the weapons. They stand no chance unless they are completely armed. This is something that the United States should absolutely take advantage of. And as you said, Mark, that would enable them to take their own future in their hands. It's not something that the United States would have to do from the top down. Yeah, when people keep saying they need to rise up and get shot in the head, they want to have a fighting chance. And we Americans believe that people who want to be free, who are being abused, ought to have a fighting chance. I mean, Rebecca, if it wasn't for the French in the Revolutionary War that wanted to make sure America had a fighting chance, we wouldn't be the United States of America. You look throughout the history of these things here, the mujahideen in Afghanistan, in Angola, in Nicaragua, the US are back, but the people did rise up under Reagan. We did push communism out of so much of our hemisphere and so forth and so on. I think we know how to do this, don't we? We do know how to do this. And the other thing that's really important to keep in mind is the standing army in Iran is not like the IRGC. They're nationalistic Iranians. They're not all, you know, ideologically committed to the Islamic Revolution like the IRGC, which is why in the past you heard some US officials say, look, we haven't taken out the army. We have completely taken out the Iranian Air Force, the Iranian Navy and we've left the army pretty much in place. Why? Because that is a moment of opportunity to overthrow the Iran regime, the Islamic Revolution. And so you have people there and then you have the civilians who are willing to take their country back. It was only just a few decades ago, Mark, that these people had a more secular country. These people know how to be self-governing. They know how to have a secular government. It would work, I think, if the United States used and took advantage of these people who just want freedom. I'm with you 100%. I've been blowing this horn for a couple of months now. And particularly when the army is not getting paid, particularly when the economy is hurting, they're going to lose more and more of their loyalty to this regime. And you're right. People confuse the army with the IRGC. It's not the IRGC. It's separate and apart. The IRGC is there to try and keep the army in place. And so those guys don't go running when they want to run. Rebecca, I want to thank you very much, the Hudson Institute, a great organization too. God bless you, my friend.

Last night, Trump outsmarted all of his political opponents with this single move. "One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe." I love that the camera is on this guy because this summarizes the entire dynamic. You see him perk up like, "Oh, wait a minute, oh no, is this really about to happen?" Yes, it is. He's embracing the concept of "show, don't tell." At the last State of the Union, they realized this worked really well, so they just fine-tuned it and amped it up. He begins by setting the stage. Because we finally have a president who puts America first, who put America first. He then introduces a policy change that Congress is not going to be able to engage in insider trading anymore. This forces them to concede. They stood up for that, I can't believe. I can't believe it. Did Nancy Pelosi stand up if she was here? Doubt it. She then doubles down on "show, don't tell" by using example, after example, after example. Delilah Colvin was only five years old in June. Elizabeth Medina was supposed to perform in her town's Christmas parade. His opponents will claim, "These are just anecdotes, yes, but they're anecdotes that could have been prevented, and there's no denying that. These things happened. Their family is there in the room." He already knows they're not going to stand, but he then begins to bait them in just to ensure the outcome. And it is the American people who pay the price and hire medical bills, car insurance rates, rent taxes, and perhaps most importantly, crime. We will take care of this problem. We're going to take care of this problem. We are not playing games. Now the stage is set. He moves in for the kill. I've never seen anything like this in a state of the union. One of the great things about the state of the union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe. So tonight I'm inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. He's so nervous. He's literally biting his fingernails. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. Would anyone deny that? Regardless of how you feel about Trump, rather than pointing out, they're not standing up. He's requesting that they stand up to show support for something Now he waits and lets it sink in. It's difficult to believe that half of the government could be so stupid to allow themselves to fall into this trap. A lot of thought went into how to phrase the wording of this. It was designed to trap them, and it did. It was worded perfectly. I mean, you just look how long this went on for. I wish the cameras had focused on their faces more. We get a few examples here, and you can just imagine the people at home.

Video transcript 10:49

And welcome to Rob Schmidt tonight Trump did have a plan last night during his marathon State of the Union address Remind Americans before the midterms that your other choice is Insane last night Democrats refused to show support via applause for a long list of heroes Victims of their own absurd policies and generally decent universally supported ideas including ending fraud jailing criminals lowering drug prices and lower energy costs They can't support any of those things Democrats refuse to stand and support families devastated by illegal immigrant crimes. They refuse to stand for that little girl right there They wouldn't cheer for a u.s. Soldier seriously injured in the raid to capture a dictator in, Venezuela They wouldn't stand for two of the last remaining heroes of the second world war Recently independent support for our president has been slipping. Nobody can deny that Trump's plan last night was to ask those independents that are moving away Are you really gonna vote for them? If you agree with this statement then stand up and show your support The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens not illegal aliens In that is shame you should be ashamed of yourself not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself As Ilhan and Rashida Tlaib yelled at him How insane is a moment like that? But of course their loyalty doesn't lie with Americans. They were being honest They couldn't stand and applaud for that because they don't feel that way. They don't want to they don't align with you They spent four years trying to replace you with millions of third world migrants Independent voters who are irritated by Trump's erratic style and messaging or those who wanted mass deportations But don't like all the drama and don't want to see it All are the ones that are moving away and those are the ones that got a wake-up call last night Yeah, where you moving to? another enraging moment when Democrats sat on their hands during this moment Last summer 23 year old Irena was riding home on the train when a deranged Monster who had been arrested over a dozen times and was released through no cash bail Stood up and viciously slashed a knife through her neck and body She had escaped a brutal war only to be slain by a hardened criminal Set free to kill in America came in through open borders Mrs. Zorezka tonight, I promise you we will ensure justice for your magnificent daughter Irena How do you not stand how do you not stand How do you not stand for that really They wouldn't stand for the sobbing mother of a young girl who was knifed to death on a busy train in The middle of the day in a city controlled by their pro criminal ideology. I Still can't believe that something like that happened with so many people around but it did and that's the reality of the place that it Happened Charlotte, North Carolina, of course these decisions whether or not to stand in moments like this were all made prior to the speech They thought it all out Ukrainian girl brutally knifed to death on a train by a repeat offender that we refused to jail now We're going to be ignoring that as a party They couldn't stand for all of these things that I just listed for you But their advisors did tell them you better stand for the hockey team and we will say that most of them did Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib Did not and later when chants of USA USA began one camera feed showed the party's Islamic wings seated comfortably and Palestinian Rashida Tlaib chanting KKK KKK at the same time Which kind of tracks for somebody who publicly hates the Jews so much like Rashida Tlaib does But think of how twisted that is that we have a congresswoman who so egregiously hates our country that she chants KKK while we chant USA That the enemy has so comfortably taken up power in this free country our freedom is our greatest vulnerability Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are prime examples of the exploitation of that vulnerability Trump hammered Ilhan Omar last night and it was fun to watch Hammering the billions stolen by her Somali countrymen that we've allowed to come into our country and exploit our good nature The Somali pirates who ransacked, Minnesota remind us that there are large parts of the world Where bribery corruption and lawlessness are the norm not the exception Importing these cultures through unrestricted immigration and open borders brings those problems right here to the USA And it is the American people who pay the price and higher medical bills car insurance rates rent Taxes and perhaps most importantly crime. We will take care of this problem. We're gonna take care of this problem. We are not playing games You could see Rashida there you could see Ilhan you could see the rage on Ilhan Omar's face as he was saying this a woman Who's known for years that all of her buddies were robbing us blind Ilhan held an election victory party at a restaurant owned by one of the biggest thieves of all of our money She knows exactly what's been going on She loves it and she's so furious that the jig is now up that she can barely contain her rage The two of them screaming at the president as he spoke screaming Trump made these two a big part of his speech and that was the brilliance of last night how many Americans identify with those two More so than they do with the president of the United States It's a small group Wild video to watch in it That was part of the brilliance of the speech though He brought him right into it and as the president labeled the opposition insane, which is exactly what the opposition is today He reminded Americans what he's working toward Fixing the massive grift that has stolen our wealth the real reason that Americans are struggling right now the real reason everybody's talking about Affordability and Democrats are trying to latch on to that as a potential talking point It's a disaster that they created themselves For decades before I came along We had the exact opposite from trade to health care from energy to immigration Everything was stolen and rigged in order to drain the wealth out of the productive hard-working people Who make our country great the same people in this chamber who voted for those disasters? Suddenly used the word affordability of knowing full well that they caused and created The increased prices they knew their statements were a dirty rotten lie Their policies created the high prices our policies are rapidly ending them. We are doing really well I'll say it on this show all the time. They're trying to run on the disaster that they created That is how awful that party is and the plan is actually working. It's just it's taking time Inflation really is dropping and dropping quick There's a big difference between three and two percent big difference and we're closing in on the feds target of two percent Indications are we could hit it in the month of February the target inflation rate That would be a hell of an accomplishment after what we just went through think about how long it took Reagan to get those numbers down Wages are now rising faster than inflation. That's a huge benefit to the American people That means the value of your paycheck is going up faster. The president is trying to fight through a vicious Swamp to radically slash the size of the government Joe Biden grew that DC tumor 25 30 percent larger in a matter of a year or two using covid as an excuse and Nobody wants to take it back down because everybody in Washington No matter the party loves a big fat wasteful government except the guy that's sitting in the White House They grew the government by 25 30 percent and guess what Americans end up facing a 22 percent inflation price hike over those years That's not a coincidence the bigger that government gets The higher inflation goes the less money you have your quality of life goes down your cost of living skyrockets and last night the Democrat Party showcased Abigail Spanberger as Their new it girl and the voice of affordability Which was comical in the rebuttal a new governor who's called for massive? Increases in all sorts of taxes to fund more government to help affordability interstate Costs are too high Since this president took office last year his reckless trade policies have forced American families to pay more than $100 each in tariff costs. They're making your life harder. They're making your life more expensive Democrats across the country are laser focused on affordability in our nation's capital and in state capitals and communities across America Little CIA robot there thinks she's got a plan. The plan is to take more from her people in taxes and increase regulations dramatically and spend that money on more Wasteful government programs, you know how those programs work. Look at Minnesota. That's how they work and They're hoping that voters are dumb enough To think that their plan is not going to do exactly the opposite of what they say it will Which is of course what it's going to do Yes, this is the Democrat Party. This is how absurd they have become

For more on this, I'm joined by Paul Perez, National Border Patrol Council President. Paul, thank you so much for joining us today. We're going to keep going on this to ask you, how does cutting federal funding to these sanctuary cities, which is happening very soon, help the president's immigration crackdown? And what do you think that will solve? Well, look, when they cut federal funding, that sends a message to these politicians that President Trump is serious about what he said he was going to do, which is to remove those people that should not be here in the country legally. He campaigned on that. He won on that. He's got a mandate he's going to follow through. You know, President Trump also says that federal agents will no longer engage with protesters. Yeah, we're going to see how that goes. Here's the president on Air Force One last night. Let's listen. If they want help, they have to ask for it. Because if we go in, all they do is complain. But if they want help, they can ask for it. And they're going to need help. Los Angeles, as an example, we went in, we solved it. The chief law enforcement officer at Los Angeles said they couldn't have done it without the federal government. A week later, he said they didn't need the federal government. You know, so we don't want that. If they want help, they'll ask, but they have to say please. All right. So I've got to ask you your response to that because, of course, it's a top talker for us today. Hearing what he said last night on Air Force One, how do you think it changes things for federal officers on the ground, number one? And do you think this tactic of asking Dems to say please is going to work? Look, President Trump is the ultimate master when it comes to going after those that have TDS. And so by forcing their hand to say please, it actually makes them want to resolve the issue without getting the federal government involved. And that's actually beneficial to us because we could get back to what we should be doing instead of dealing with these unruly protesters. You know, when we talk about the body cameras, this is such an interesting topic because we're all trying to understand who wears what. The president was asked about how he feels about federal officers wearing body cameras. I'm curious of your take, but I also want to listen to what he said. Do you think it's good having lots of cameras on these kinds of incidents between law enforcement and the people? I think it would help law enforcement, but I'd have to talk to them. I'm going to be talking to them tomorrow. Actually, I think it would help law enforcement. You know, that works both ways, but I think overall, I think it's 80 percent in favor of law enforcement. So I want to take a look at some stats because according to June data from the House Homeland Security Committee, 4400 ICE officers wear body cameras in a force of about 22,000 and nearly 13,000 border patrol agents wear cameras in a force of nearly 45,000. So we've got this huge bright spotlight on these immigration officers. Right. So as we're watching this all play out, many people say, hey, let's see it all. We want to see the videos that are being taken from the streets and we want to see the videos that's being worn. But do you think it's important for all ICE officers and border patrol agents to wear these body cameras because it does seem like it would make it a lot easier to investigate any incidents of violence, accusations of violence towards or involving officers? How do you see it? So most of our border patrol agents, like you said, have been wearing body cams. It doesn't change the fact that we're still going to have these aggressive protesters coming after us. All it's going to do is show exactly the perception or the view of the agent involved. But it doesn't change anything about who we're dealing with or how we're dealing with them. Listen, it's important, I think, for all of us to understand who's wearing them, how long they wear them. And it just kind of reminds me, if you even think about the cameras that we have in our cars, it's so important if you get in a traffic accident to have that footage, because it can be a, he said, he said, situation very easily. Paul Perez, National Border Patrol Council President. We want to thank you very much for your time and weighing in on this important topic. Thank you. Thank you.

Brand new details about how Obama's CIA targeted Trump and started the entire Russia hoax. For years, we were told that tips from an Australian diplomat tipped off the FBI after a random conversation with Papadopoulos, a no-name 20-something. But according to new reporting by Michael Schellenberger and Matt Taibbi, the whole thing was a CIA setup. Former CIA director John Brennan identified 26 Trump associates to be targeted by the Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance. And then those interactions were the targets and were targeted by the FBI as suspicious. And that's how the FBI launched the Russia collusion hoax. The details of this entire operation have been stored in a top secret binder in a secret room in Washington. Trump ordered the whole thing declassified. And now the rumor is that the binder might be missing. Go to me now, one of the reporters who broke the story, Michael Schellenberger. Michael, explain how this all started with the CIA picking these 26 Trump people. Yeah, good to be with you, Jesse. Well, obviously, this is an extremely serious story and serious allegation by multiple credible sources that Public and Racket, that's Matt Taibbi's publication, have spoken to. These are people that are close to the house intelligence investigation of how the Russia collusion hoax began. The story, as you mentioned, was that, oh, we were just informed by foreign intelligence about this. Our sources tell us a very different story, which is that this was initiated by the U.S. government. It came from within the U.S. government's intelligence community, including the CIA, that they asked the so-called Five Eyes Nations intelligence agencies. That's the other English-speaking nations, including Britain and Australia, to spy on 26 Trump associates, or at least they had a list of the 26 associates that were identified. This is new information. Some people have theorized about this and speculated about it. We feel very confident that our sources were in a position to know and are very credible in this report. It's obviously a very serious allegation because this is illegal spying and it's illegal election interference. Okay, so you're reporting that the CIA got these allies to bump these 26 Trump associates, create interactions, and then call these interactions suspicious and let the FBI know they were suspicious, and that starts the whole thing. What about this binder that encapsulates this whole thing and no one knows where it is right now or Trump has it? What's that? Well, Jesse, we'll have a piece tomorrow that is specifically about the binder, but as a friend of the show and of yours on this, I'll say that there has been widespread speculation that this binder was the reason or a reason for the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, and we'll be discussing that tomorrow. But obviously, if this binder contains what we have been told that it contains, which may include raw intelligence, information showing that the U.S. government, the CIA and the intelligence community of the U.S. government, initiated the Russia collusion hoax, that it did not occur in the way that the official story including the German investigation had portrayed it, then that's extremely serious information, and it may be, if the FBI then went to go get it in order to continue the coverup of this information, that obviously adds an even more dramatic wrinkle to this. Again, we'll have more to say about it tomorrow, but this is a huge, huge story. I mean, I can't, I've been thinking about it in the history of the United States of America. Have we ever had something like this where the intelligence community was weaponized against a political candidate and using our foreign allies to do it? I can't think of a more important or dramatic story. - Yeah, and then going to great lengths by using FBI raids to cover it up. That's just an absolute incredible development. Great reporting to you and to Matt, and we look forward to your report tomorrow. Thank you so much.

Trump's remaking the United States of America. We can start there with tariffs. What are we talking about? No tacos for Trump. The effect of tariff rate. Get this. Eighteen percent. It is the highest, Omar. The highest since the 1930s. Up from, get this, just two percent last year. As I'm going to talk about in this segment, I can't think of a more influential president during this century. And it starts here with tariffs. He said he was going to raise tariffs. And despite the claims otherwise, he is, in fact, doing that. The effective tariff rate at this point looks to be nine times as high as it was last year. The highest since the 1930s in FDR, Omar. And the effective tariff rate is up from two percent last year for those that might see the banner there. Tariffs, though, aren't the only way Trump's remaking policy in America, right? It is not the only way that Trump is remaking America. What are we talking about? Well, let's jump. The other big thing that Trump ran on, right, was immigration. How about net migration in the United States? Get this. It's down. It's going to be down at least 60%. We may be dealing with, get this, negative net migration to the United States in 2025. That would be the first time there is negative net migration in this country in at least 50 years. We're talking about down from 2.8 million in 2024. So, Donald Trump ran, has always run on tariffs, and he's run on a hawkish line on immigration. And on both of those issues, we are seeing record high tariff rates for this century going all the way back, well back into the early part of the 20th century. And when it comes to immigration, net migration, we are seeing record low levels way down from where we were during the Biden administration. We are potentially looking at negative net migration for the first time in at least 50 years. And that is a big reason why that I'm saying that Trump, at least in my mind, is the most influential president certainly this century, and probably dating a good back chunk into the 20th century as well, Omar.
